Jiro is the nuke? This show is pretty confusing to follow.
Well. Dr Hitoyoshi found him near the wreckage of the Enola Gay on Hiroshima in 1945. Also, it's less that he literally is the nuke, and more like the kaijuu he has sealed inside him is a representation of the nuke. Kaijuus being used as a symbol for the nuclear bombs is nothing new, either. That was the purpose behind the creation of Godzilla (which is why Godzilla has nuclear powers)

I actually rather like Emi now. She has a manipulative side, but it's backed by an honest desire for Jiro's safety, and even though she wanted to kill Kikko she didn't. After that spell she cast, I wonder if Kikko will ever be able to go devil mode again. I doubt it, but who knows, there might be a way.
At any rate, Jiro being the Gemstone to Claude's esper is fascinating. Now that the second season will focus on the future, will we still get time jumps like before?
I honestly hope not, but that is this show's gimmick.
now I'm curious, is Jirou a homage to Godzilla?
Yeah the show had a pretty awesome finale. Hopefully there will be a few episodes showing how the events we've been shown from the future all tie together.
I think we will still have some jumps.
I mean we still don't know why Jiro went full rebel or why Shiba became a terrorist

Just watched the hour long special of WORKING!, pretty fun & amusing last episode & a nice send off for the wacky cast. Popura is the true heroine.
Thankfully they really didn't do a fantasy adventure one like from the last preview.
