    I agree. The closes example to Utawarerumono 2 from White Fox would be Steins Gate, but even that had stuff happening (like the effects of the D-mails and the hints that SERN was aware of Okabe's actions and would take action in any moment (also, the cast interactions were really nice because the characters were great))
    I just hope something happens soon in Utawarerumono 2

    Yeah, Tezuka was awesome.

    But I was saying how interesting it was that the makers of the manga/anime were able to translate the story of Dororo in a more modern setting and twist it into a horror story.

    So that's the story behind Jaguar Harkness.

    I wasn't expecting him to be a jaguar modded into a human though, but it seems his actions made that vice versa. We also figured out how Jiro was standing on a ceiling; government ninjas who hate the Bureau!

    Well, sure, but it's not just about the quality of the source they're adapting, because the previous volumes weren't really THAT bad. They just had some really dumb ideas about how they could make them fit into two episodes each. Like excising interesting foreshadowing and randomly cutting out stuff so that one scene didn't even connect to the next one.

    And that had a trickle down effect to the detriment of this episode even though they had more time to spend on it, because to see Kiseki in the clink and Kyouya as a fallen legend now is jarring, as rather than it being them pulling the trigger on previous chekov's guns (prison visit to Kiseki in volume 1, Kyouya purging a heretic in volume 4) and resolving those hanging plot points, it just comes entirely from nowhere.

    Kiseki a cute, but Hyakki Yakou wasn't nearly as intimidating as I hoped it would be. It's also pretty surprising to see Yoshimizu up and about like that, though I might have just forgotten that being a thing.*
    Santa Mari and Usagi were as cute as expected though.

    Really liked this episode of Sakurako, it seems to ramp up to a confrontation with the Painter.
    But am I mistaken or did he have a ponytail before but not now
