My preference for Remaining Sense of Pain ekes out over the majesty of Paradox Spiral, though it's a very, very close call.

What did you prefer about it? I like Paradox Spiral's extra length. I also love a good mindfuck.
I would vote KnK for F/z.
But then you put in Carnival Phantasm. Holy shit CP might be the enjoyable TM series by far.
Though, it isn't my favorite TM work! I like things for other reasons then just being enjoyable. But yeah, if its as far as anime goes, I think CP just edges out over KnK.

I definitely do like Paradox Spiral a damn ton. It's ED song is my favorite. I also liked it better than MSP2 because--at the time of watching it--I felt that Lio was rather a letdown. As time has passed I've grown fonder of what he represents, partly due to maturation of tastes, mostly due to Dullahan's portrayals of him in fanfiction.

I think that if we're talking about first reactions to watching something, Carnival Phantasm would likely be number one. But when I think back on things that I've watched Kara No Kyoukai just stays with me more. Not sure if that explanation makes much sense.

I also love the Kara No Kyoukai soundtrack moreso than any other Type Moon anime.
I was kinda spoiled, I knew 5 was supposed to be the climax of the series before either reading or seeing it. But my initial impression of 7 wasn't really much, kinda okay, I guess.
But yeah its one of the better movies in retrospect. I actually really like Lio now, though.
The OST of 7 is also god tier. Arguably better then 5. But yeah 5 is amazing in everything.

I never got spoiled about KnK. Though I did wind up reading it later on. After I read the novels Oblivion Recorder's adaptation went from being meh to actually kind of pissing me off.

Yes. It's called Take-Moon.
CP isn't a straight adaptation though, some of it is original.
