You definitely need to watch LOTGH at your own pace if you can get through it at all. It's worth it tho.

Mushishi wouldn't exactly be great to watch together and you have to be in the right state of mind to watch it. I guess 1 episode a day would be a great pace to watch it at though. Really clears the stress from your day.

Neither is Mushishi, or NGE, or Utena, or Lain, or GitS.

Someone with good internet streams or just watching offline at the same time?
Also someone make a group conversation
Aus Feuer ward der Geist geschaffen,
drum schenkt mir süßes Feuer ein!
Die Lust der Lieder und der Waffen,
die Lust der Liebe schenkt mir ein,
    der Trauben süßes Sonnenblut,
das Wunder glaubt und Wunder thut!

If we are talking about watching the a few episodes a week then posting about it then sure it would be fine. The episodes are quite varied so there would be a decent amount to talk about. We can talk about all the si-fi stuffs and have deep conversations about the social impacts of said tech. This sort of mirrors the current problem that I'm having with my anime club in that I want to watch influential stuff but people are too silly.

Oh btw my 5 year old chrome and outdated linux skype doesn't want to co-operate with the browser skype thing. My skype is the same as my username so could you guys add me instead?

I can make the group convo for the folks that want to join that.
Watching at the same time is a bit unlikely due to timezones, school, work and such.

I think the pace is not as important as actually finishing the whole thing and discussing it. You can watch an episode a day or binge it in one day, but the end result should be removing anime from your backlog.

Have you decided which you're gonna watch first?
