Shows like this are few and far between now-a-days. At least from what I've seen the last few years. Kino's Journey is another like it.
Though if it continues to not be terrible this could totally be in AMGD.

I've never watched Lain or had interest in it, seemed like really shallow peekaboo shit from what I have seen of it.
I haven't properly seen an entire series of precure because I couldn't take the fillers in Heartcatch, though I have a few downloaded I guess?
There's a bunch of old shoujo shit I really should have seen already like Ribon no Kishi or Rose of Versailles.
Never actually seen the JoJo anime beyond where Phantom Blood ends and random Stardust Crusaders episodes. I mean, it's not the manga.
I have dropped One Piece, and the manga really did not deserve it, because it was really good.
(I have also dropped Naruto, right before the climax supposedly got interesting, but it absolutely deserved it)
I haven't read or seen any of Dragonball. Loved Chrono Trigger though.
