Hmm well you can always try a different idea if the first one isn't working for you.
I have not even started but I have two ideas that I will probably choose between after I wrap up current obligations and do some further research. I write pretty fast once I actually have a good trajectory, but getting that on the other hand...
Imagine that the world is made out of love. Now imagine that it isn’t.
Imagine a story where everything goes wrong, where everyone has their back against the wall, where everyone is in pain and acting selfishly because if they don’t, they’ll die.
Imagine a story, not of good against evil, but of need against need against need, where everyone is at cross-purposes and everyone is to blame.

Aw, but it'd be boring to just buy stuff for myself, I gotta earn it by writing something better than anyone else!
You know what, from now on I'm just gonna mark the names of anyone who has already sent me their fic in green. I'll start with the first one, me!
I still have not started my fic for this, but I still plan to complete one. I can do 10k or so in less than a month. It's just that I'm still mulling over what exactly I want to do for this since it's an opportunity to get some guaranteed feedback of some kind. It's something that is pretty new to me.

the chances of me finishing are around: %
Your chances reached the root?
I wonder how many of those entered will actually submit...
No matter if it's the original idea I planned or if it's just another fic I wrote the night before while drunk, I will submit a fic.
This is the height of my resolve.
I have the general plan laid out and around 2k words written so far, I think I'll make it.
So how goes the stories folks? We stay have a few weeks but I'd hate to be the only entry!
I'm about 12k words in, aiming to probably finish the first draft this weekend. That should give me a few weeks to edit, which should be more than enough. From the looks of things though I'll have a lot of editing to do...
Regrettably, I'm quitting the contest. I failed my Biochemistry lab monthly, so I'll have to redouble my efforts in studying for the next one.
