Hey guys I know a long time ago I expressed interested in developing an rp based off the Codex Alera but never finished it. Despite my failure to come through with my last rp idea I am almost finished with setting up another RP and the rule book for it. It is my first rp I have ever dm/gm for so be a little easy on me please. The new RP I am almost finished with is one that is based off of the webnovel "A Practical Guide to Evil" by Erraticerrata except based on earth in the modern era though that doesn't mean elements of the original story won't have a chance to appear.

Essentially for months now a weird phenomenon has been occurring where people have been empowered with something called a "Name" which are making them seemingly superhuman in different ways but there is more than just that happening. Magic has also started to pop up globally and scientists havw hypothesized that other improbable occurances could be chalked up to the theory of narrative causality becoming more than just a theory. A combination of an international incident occuring in Greece and the growing influence of these Named has caused the United Nations to form a special taskforce to investigate what is going on with the Named and to stop potential disasters. Time to make a Name for yourself and learn the truth of what is happening. Will your fate be that of a hero or a villain?

Hello! Would anyone be interested in a free-form RP that focuses on collaborative writing, with strictly non-canon (OC) Masters and Servants?

I'm running a discord RP that splits off from canon after the 5th HGW. We are just nearing the end of our first season, and I'm looking to expand our player base somewhat before we dive into season 2.

A few things to know about our server:

- We go by a seasonal structure. Each season has their own standalone plot, but ultimately contribute to the overarching plot of the server. You are free to stick to the same character across multiple seasons, or keep making new characters each season.

- Our RP focuses heavily on Master/Servant interactions and battles. You will either RP a Master or a Servant, and journey through each season with an RP partner. You are free to bring your own RP partner, or pair up with someone from the server who has signed up for a season.

- Each season aims to bring something fresh to the table. Depending on the plot and location a season takes place in, players may find themselves in a traditional HGW, a tournament, an investigation, or something else entirely.

- Due to the seasonal nature of our RP, deadlines are set in place to keep the plot rolling. This means we expect players to respect these deadlines, or to warn their RP partners/mods in advance should they miss them.



Now that the nitty-gritty is out of the way, it's time for the server lore dump!

In a nutshell, we veered off from canon after the 5th HGW. A catastrophe occurred and the world was flooded as a result. Magecraft was exposed to the public and humans were forced into nomadic cities on the open sea. Fast-forward 100 years (2104) and this is where the RP takes off.
