Currently reading the Tsukihime remake, have finished the prologue and am now on the Arcueid route proper.

Pretty interesting so far. Mahoyo is not yet translated all the way so I was surprised when the red-haired girl introduced herself as Aoko. Really wanted to watch TV with Kohaku first night but it seemed like such a chaotic evil choice when some long overdue sibling time was the alternative. It was a bit of a depressing conversation so I reloaded a save and went for the TV after all. Do all choices count in some way?

The way Type-Moon VNs work is that every choice can give you points, and upon a certain point requirement, set a flag in specific points. This doesn't matter much in Tsuki, it's just to make sure you go through the routes in the right order, the place it gets *really* hellish is Kagetsu.

Restarted Mahoyo from the beginning. Finished Chapter 1 just now.
Felt straight-up nostalgic listening to these tracks that I've held off on listening for the past like 4 or 5 years.
We are trully blessed to have Fukusawa.

One thing I noticed while reading HA this time is that there are quite a few call backs to Fate/Zero whose first volume would only the released the next year after HA but was surely in production then. Like Shinji mentioning his uncle, Shirou and Illya wondering about the magic circle in the shed, Saber having a fear of octopus due to a evil god that wouldn't die no matter what and Irisviel being mentioned.
Most interesting is how it refers to how in FSN it was mentioned (although that wasn't mentioned by Saber but rather in a interlude narration) that Kiritsugu left his wife behind and then

corrects

it by saying she actually came with him to Japan and died there like in Zero.

It's been a day of interesting discoveries. First I discovered I had 3700 yen lost in my PS Vita wallet since 2017. Immediately after it, I discovered /Hollow was 3500 yen. Feels good to give this a second try 7 years after the first run cut short by the death of my old computer. Hopefully my Vita won't die halfway through it.

7 months and 2 days, wow. My Vita thankfully survived all the way to the end, as I needs to for at very least until I finish Higurashi somewhere around 2027.
