I only read summaries about it with Gilgamesh as Hakuno's Servant. One section made me curious in what Hans has to say for other Servants beside Gil.

I played with Gilgamesh.
It's weird saying this without having played it with the other Servants, but I genuinely wonder how the game even fundamentally makes sense without him.
He was one of the best parts of the game.
I played alternating between 4 save files at the same time, which gave me full awareness of how interchangeable the playable Servants were in the grand scheme of the plot, so this comment is making me feel like I missed out something special with them.

Anyways, Gilgamesh's motivations and backstory tie so well into the themes of the game that it just feels like I'd lose out if I didn't have him. Maybe I'm just underestimating Nasu here though. He did write Gil's route last after all.

The reason behind Gil sealed in the Far Side is really cool, since anyone who managed to summon him in Near Side is guaranteed to survive even after they ran out of their CS. Although, one absolutely has to first build a decent rapport with him to even be able to remotely cooperate, as shown in his reaction to Hakuno if they answer him wrong, so he's the hardest Heroic Spirit to get along with yet.
I personally take Nero as the better foil to BB, but all four of them fit to a meaningful extent.
Nero feels like she'd probably be the second best fit, if her characterization in Last Encore is anything to go by.
Though I can imagine she and BB had some funny interactions.
If you choose Nameless doesn't Melt go after him instead of Hakuno?
Yes. There’s even a meta joke where Melt says that Sakura is just an AI, but if a real Sakura existed anywhere, Nameless would be the man for her.
That particular scene only plays out when you pick Mumei and Hakunon for the playthrough IIRC.

I will admit, the Altera arc is the one mostly bearable part, but since it all leads up to the terrible conclusion it kinda feels a bit wasted.
Finish Extella Link and then do a write up of the whole extraverse.

I already wasted some of my precious money buying Extella, I am not spending 50 Euros buying its shitty sequel.

I should probably rephrase myself and say that the only way I'll work up the motivation to play Extella Link is if someone literally buys it for me, then I have no choice.
I like doing Iskandar's Gordius Wheel combo(not Extella Maneuver). It's just OP on tight places where enemy programs huddled up together, plus its range is great. Body Hakuno is also during the endgame.
