nobody cared enough about Shinji to whine about the poll not being up as soon as the thread was opened.
I feel bad for what Shinji went through as a child / member of the Matou household. I think he could theoretically be a good example of how cycles of abuse create monstrous people. But he's pretty terrible and is so far into became-the-monster territory that I can't bring myself to like him. If I were to like him, it wouldn't be for comedic value, because if I laugh at his suffering it's not really because I find it funny per se.

they didn't cut him trying to rape rin in a TV show, what makes you think that HF will be different as a film series
