Huh, contrary to normal, I feel like the author didn't do a particularly great job portraying what's going on. Maybe he'll do the thing they start the next chapter from the other perspective to explain what happened, but seems really rushed otherwise.
I would have liked to actually see Akhilleus Kosmos, not just a glowy ball.
Shame, you don't get the sense that Karna's a step away from vaporizing Sieg at all. Sieg doesn't look like he's beam clashing, just standing around.
All things considered I imagined it'd be very very difficult for the manga to top the anime when it came to this scene in particular, and looks like that presumption was true as well.
