Huh, it fixed itself. On both accounts.
Fixed again as well.
Observations:
1) Clearing cache seemed to help the first time and often but not always thereafter. This may be coincidence if there's something weird with timing going on.
2) The activity stream is not manually updating (and then sometimes it is). Refreshing it may cause re-occurence of the problem?
3) Firefox is reporting a negative memory error. If I used about:memory more often, I could tell if that was normal or not.

Hitting Blogs tab gives a redirect loop according to Chrome. I reckon there's just a bit of flux going on and that everything will be fine shortly. Or its the end of the world. Either way. No need to panic ^_^

Nothing to add other than I am suffering from this problem as well. It comes on and off sporadically. Also seems to change me to the white background every now and then.
WYSIWYG and the third option aren't working. No clue why.
It appears I'm having trouble trying to quote people. I'm forced to do advanced replies to quote people. And for some reason whenever I try to type anything it immediately highlights the reply box.
My opinion on how canon works
I'll bring the problem to DP's attention and see if maybe it's something in the forum.
