-_- I call prejudice and/or ignorance. Saying all VN's are bad is like saying all books are bad. VN's with good and deep stories exist, and like you said, most of them are part game, part literature, and I would argue that the literature aspect is usually the bigger one. Not all VN's are nukige you know.

Inclusion does not make it the most prevalent part of the work, and certainly doesn't turn it into that aspect of the work. A 1,5 minute long animated opening video in an otherwise non-animated visual novel that takes 50 hours to read through does not make that work an anime. That's silly. You might as well claim video games are anime, because they often contain animated openings. They are not. Manga, anime, visual novels, and video games are all separate mediums, and you know it.

Considering how long this was after news initially broke I thought it was going to be about him dying. Hopefully he'll live for a good while longer and get to create more things. I'm not even the biggest fan (actually I'm not a fan...) but the industry can't afford to loose more prolific creators.
Just hope he don't go Robert Jordan on us.
Something
Okay, now this thread is terrible.
Anime

Anime is in your heart.

Except RWBY. RWBY's not fucking anime and if that's anime then so's Avatar: The last Airbender and we've gone over this shit before.
My Fanfics. Read 'em. Or not.McJon01: We all know that the real reason Archer would lose to Rider is because the events of his own Holy Grail War left him with a particular weakness toward "older sister" types.
Is James Cameron's Avatar anime though?

oh when I was at Kinokuniya the other day, the "Manga" section was all English-localized Japanese comics, while the "Comics/コミック" section was actual Japanese comics.
just remembered that.
