It's 1 AM and I can't sleep, so I decided to do a servant that I actually know well

    Faceclaim

    Class: Saber
    Other Classes: Lancer, Archer
    True Name: Philopater Mercurius
    Alignment: Lawful Good
    Place of Origin: Cappadocia

    Parameters:

    STR: C(B+)
    END: B(A+)
    AGI: C(B+)
    MGI: C (E)
    LCK: D-
    NP: B++

    Height:191 cm
    Weight: 95 kg
Likes: Saint George, Those who stand up for what they believe in, Soldiers
Dislikes: Cowards, People that aren't devoted to their beliefs
    Talent: Extremely High Pain Tolerance
    Natural Enemy: Sadists
    Attribute: Man
    Traits: Christian, Male
    Armament: Two Swords
Catalyst: His Holy Relic (his bones)

    Skills

    Class Skills:

    Magic Resistance- A

Cancel spells of A-Rank or below. In practice, the Servant is untouchable to modern magi, so it would not be an exaggeration to title the Servant a "Magus Killer".

In addition to the Magic Resistance of the Saber Class, Mercurius demonstrates high Magic Resistance due to his unwavering piety.

    Personal Skills:

    Saint- B

Indicates being acknowledged as a saint. When summoned as a Servant, the ability of saint is selected one among "raising the effectiveness of sacraments", "automatic HP recovery", "1 Rank-Up to Charisma" and "production of a holy shroud is possible".

    Soul of a Martyr- B+

Mental protection that negates mental interference.

Mercurius is the owner of a strong faith who was pressed to renounce his religious beliefs many times and, despite receiving countless tortures, never bowed to his persecutors or gave into their demands. Some of these tortures included being flayed with nails, or being burned alive, or being hung upside-down from a tree with a rope around his neck that was weighed down with stones slowly suffocating him. He doesn't have the title "Great Martyr" for nothing.

    Grace of God- C+

The greatest body and good looks. Chance to charm those of the opposite and same sex, bonus to persuasion. This skill will only work if the target can see his face.

"Having said these words, the brave Mercurius stripped off his military cloak and took off his golden belt and threw them at the emperor’s feet. Stupefied, Decius stared into the face of Mercurius for a long time. He marvelled at the youthful beauty of Mercurius as the blessed man was of a most goodly presence; his countenance was very handsome and his complexion was red and white. His body was adorned with both, beauty and strength. The looks of many were directed after him and the people admired him."

    Military Tactics- C

Tactical knowledge used not for one-on-one combat situations, but for battles where many are mobilized. Bonus modifiers are provided during use of one's own Anti-Army Noble Phantasm or when dealing against an enemy Anti-Army Noble Phantasm.

Before his death, Mercurius was made the supreme commander of the Roman Armies while under the rule of Emperor Decius. Before he was made Supreme Commander he was described to be "Intrepid on the field, a bold and efficient leader of men in the campaigns, he was sought in the social circles of Rome. He was also the best swordsman in his regiment, in battle he was a tactician that assured victory in every encounter with the enemy.

    Noble Phantasms
    Abu-Seifan
    Father of Two Swords

    Type: Anti-Army
    Rank: B
    Range: 1-20 meters
    Max Targets: 1

When activated Saber gains a rank up and a plus to Strength, Endurance, and Agility. Mercurius' holy sword, given to him by Saint Michael the Archangel, begins to glow and a halo appears over his head. In addition Mercurius' attacks gain the ability to fire blasts of holy light at the cost of paying extra mana and ending the Noble Phantasm prematurly. The mana cost of this Noble Phantasm is equivalent to that of Arondight, therefore. due to Saber's low mana. it can only be used in short bursts in order to deal a finishing blow or turn the tide of battle.

"He held the sword in his hand and felt the Holy Spirit and Godly power overwhelm him. Thus, at the height of the conflict, Mercurius dashed with his sword into the midst of the barbarians. He displayed wonderful courage, mowing the enemy down like grass. He attacked with such violence that he was able to slay their king, his company and many others. His sword was so drenched with blood that he lost his grip on it and his arm fell powerless by his side. The success of Mercurius so terrified the barbarians that they broke down and fled and victory lay with the Romans."

    Blessing of the Archangel
    Michael's Chosen Champion
    Type: Self-Buff
    Rank: B++
    Range: N/A
    Max Targets: 1
After combat ends Saber is instantly healed completely, and cured of any status ailments/curses due to NP being holy, this effect is passive and temporarly reduces Saber's Magic parameter to E for half an hour after the effect has taken place.

"Afterwards, Decius ordered them to tear off his flesh with sharp blades and scatter red hot coal under his body to burn him alive. But, gradually, the flames were extinguished by the flowing blood of the righteous man. The holy saint endured all these pains calmly."

“When the soldiers lifted him up, the saint was half dead, but there was still a little breath of life left in him, although the emperor thought that he was undoubtedly going to die that night”

“The angel stretched out his hand and wiped all Mercurius’ wounds. Immediately, he was healed and free from any trace of torture.”

“We swear by your might, o pious emperor, that his whole body is sound, and that there is no diseased spot on it; it looks like one whose body has never been touched by a finger.”

    Personality
Saber is not what one would expect when they hear the word "Saint". This is partially because of the fact that his Holy Deeds were done through the act of war, and he only became a saint due to his strong piety which led to him being Martyred. Instead of being calm and collected, like his cousin George, he acts more hot blooded and seems to enjoy each fight he is in, rather than hating the act of violence as a whole. Where as George's fighting style is akin to that of an unmovable wall, Mercurius' is more like a raging wind that is able to get through any opening that is presented, and will adapt and change tactics in an instance. He is known to be cocky as one might expect from a young man told he was meant for greatness. His cockiness can seem to get the better of him at times and it won't be long until he realizes the fact that he is not the most powerful and that even though he was the stronger than anyone he knew at the time, when heroes are taken from every time period and every place he is severely outclassed by many of them. When this happens Mercurius will once again become humble and gain enormous respect for his betters. He will still enjoy combat, but now for a different reason, instead of enjoying it because it is his chance to show the fact that he is better than all others, he now relishes to have a chance to improve upon his skills and prove that he deserves his place as a heroic spirit of the sword. He is often calm on the battle field and the only things that will break his sense of calm observation would be the first time he realizes that he is outmatched or if his opponent insults Christianity. The former would result in Saber becoming confused and will cause him to start to panic as his reality of being the strongest is shattered, he will most likely retreat and then be come to terms with the fact that many are stronger than him. He hates the idea of retreat and is therefore not very good at it, preventing him from using Blessing of the Archangel to its full potential. Saber will most likely have a close and friendly relationship with his master being either a loyal guardian or a close friend. Being a rich Roman that was a complete bro with everyone in his regiment he will gladly go out for drinks with his master and take part in other hedonist acts that one would expect a Saint to refuse. This is something that his cousin, George, would frown upon and give him a stern talking to for. The only scenario that will result in Saber hating his master is if they are a sadist, as Saber has suffered at the hands of one in the past. Saber has no wish from the Holy Grail and sees the war as simply a chance to prove his strength. In the situation that Saber should fight another Saint, he will absolutely refuse as he sees the other Saints as family, although not to the same extent as George whom he puts on a pedestal above all others. Note that due to his low luck, Saber constantly finds himself targeted by sadists, and due to his healing noble phantasm, they can have as much fun with him as they want *shudders*.

Relationships: Saber is the cousin of Saint George and sees him as the older brother he never had. Due to this he respects and even fears George, he is willing to admit that George is his better and is in awe of him. Should they be summoned in the same Grail War Saber will follow George around like a puppy and act on his best behavior, severely diminishing his cockiness and his inclinations towards hedonistic acts.

    Lore
Saber's name Philopater means lover of the father, and converted to Christianity along with the rest of his family when his father and grandfather were attacked by beasts on a hunting trip. His grandfather was killed and his father was knocked unconscious, his father then had a vision and was told that he was saved because his son Philopater would one day do great things. After converting the two parents changed their names Gordianus, the father, was named Noah, and his wife Kibotos, a Greek name that means: Ark. These names were chosen (Noah and Ark) to signify that God has saved them from the seas of darkness. At the age of seventeen Philopater had joined the army, proving to be the best swordsman and commander in his regiment, and due to this moved up the ranks quickly, it was at this point that he was given the name Mercurius. When the barbarians attacked Rome it seemed like all was lost and the Emperor, a close friend of Mercurius, had given up all hope. On the eve of the great battle Mercurius had a vision where Saint Michael came to him and offered him his sword, with which Mercurius was able to cut through the barbarians like a storm and slay the barbarian leader. It was due to this feat that he would be named supreme leader of the Roman Armies. In 249, Decius, the emperor, began his persecution of Christians, compelling everyone to offer sacrifices to his pagan gods. Again, St. Michael the Archangel appeared to Mercurius and told him not to forget what he had told him in the battlefield and not to fear persecution. The saint was encouraged and spent the whole night praying fervently. Mercurius did not go to offer sacrifices with the rest of the majority of Rome, and this was reported to the emperor by a jealous officer. When questioned about this he states that it was not due to the Roman gods that they had won, but due to Saint Michael and the Christian God. This infuriated the emperor and Mercurius was thrown in prison. He was then questioned and the emperor tried to convince him to turn his back on Christianity but Mercurius refused. Immediately, the emperor, filled with wrath, gave orders to his soldiers to strip off Mercurius from his clothes and fix four posts on the ground between which he is to be tied at the height of one cubit from the ground. Further still, the emperor commanded them to strike him all over his body with long sharp nails instead of scourges, but Mercurius endured all these tortures in silence. Mercurius was visited by Saint Michael once again and was healed of all his wounds, and endured more torture for next following days, until the emperor, fearing a revolt by the army, ordered him to be executed. When he was beheaded a miracle took place : his body became as white as snow and exalted a sweet odour like the choicest of incense and aromatic herbs. Merucurius died in 250 AD he was only 25.

Creator Notes: This is my first actual remake of a servant sheet. I had edited it in the past but this guy was still too wanked (not that he isn't now of course) I've edited his stats and his personality a bit but feel free to make suggestions to anything on the sheet, I want this guy to be even as different as possible compared to how he was in the past, because frankly, I'm not sure that I have changed him enough to warrant a rewrite, and if that is the case I will gladly delete the post. Also I totally stole the format from you guys, sorry in advance for that, also let me know if you like me using quotes from his actual legend or if I should stop because it takes up space. Also its worth noting that this guy has a part of his legend where he is summoned as a spirit to eliminate an Emperor that is about to kill a shit ton of Christians, he has being a counter guardian as part of his legend.(and I know that killing a bunch of people isn't enough to warrant a counter guardian showing up but still)

So here’s a sheet I would love to write but can’t right now. Sakata Kintoki Alter. A version of him that’s either the manifestation of his repressed love for Shuten or from an alternate timeline/lostbelt where he betrayed Raiko and saved Shuten and the other one of mount oe. He could have a higher rank of divinity since he’s rejected humanity and maybe some oni related skills. His NP could be a support anti poison one which represents saving the oni from the poison he and Raiko fed them.

That would certainly be interesting, but I would definitely need a lore section to understand whats going on because I know very little about Japanese mythology (I should probably add a lore section to my sheet because lets be honest, how many people have heard of Saint Mercurius before reading any of my sheets? Heck, I only first found out about him from the sword in FE that's named after him.)

    Servant: Assassin
    Alignment: Neutral Good
    True Name: Zhao Feiyan

    Gender: Female
    Height: 163 cm/5’4”
    Weight: 50 kg/110 lbs
    Blood Type: AB
    Birthday: Unknown, 1 BC

    Likes: Sunrise, her sister
Dislikes: Nothing she cares to think of
    Talents: Dance, satisfying desires
    Natural Enemy: Karna, selfless individuals
    Image Colour: Red

    Parameters:
    Strength: E
    Endurance: D
    Agility: A+
    Mana: B
    Luck: C
    Noble Phantasm: B

    Background:
The birth name of the woman who would come to be called Zhao Feiyan is unknown to history. Born in the streets of Chang’an, her birth was no celebrated or recorded matter - rather, she was a burden to her impoverished parents and summarily abandoned as an infant. After three days, her parents took her back in, not out of affection but because she had clung to life and their neighbors, incensed by the child’s noise and cries, shamed them into taking her back. She was joined by a sister, He De, and upon their parents’ passing, the two were adopted by a housekeeper named Zhao Lin, adopting his surname.

Growing into a beautiful young woman, she and He De were assigned to the household of the Princess Yang’a, working as dancing girls and entertaining servants. It was there that the slender, attractive young girl received the name “Feiyan” —“Flying Swallow”— in recognition of her grace and skill as a dancer. It was during a performance for Yang’a in 19 BC that she would attract the attention of a certain honored guest and visitor, the Emperor Cheng.

Enamored by her beauty, Cheng immediately sent for the Zhao sisters, taking them with him to court where they became incredibly favored consorts to the Emperor. Upon meeting the Zhaos, one of the senior ladies in waiting was perturbed by the two, opining that the two were the “water of disaster” and a danger to the Han dynasty, whose symbol was fire. In short order, the Zhaos supplanted the current Empress Xu and the chief consort, Consort Ban, in the Emperor’s eyes and heart, rising to the top of the imperial court as concubines in under a year.

For most, that would have been achievement enough, but Zhao Feiyan did not settle for a transient position of favor, one she would lose with age or the decline of her looks. Capitalizing on their current favor with the Emperor, the Zhaos began a slanderous campaign accusing Empress Xu and Consort Ban of witchcraft - after all, not only had the two not conceived an heir for the Emperor, but none of his other consorts had either. Together, the Zhaos were able to engineer the fall of both rivals for the Emperor’s heart, and in under two years, Feiyan would rise from a common dancing girl to Empress of the Han Dynasty, with a false title and noble past fabricated for her by the Emperor to allow her to become Empress.

Zhao Feiyan had reached the highest station a woman in Imperial China could hope to hold, a position that would hold stable even should the Emperor find another lover. Finally, through scheming, hard work, and stepping on the backs of others, she had at long last secured her absolute safety and future. She could finally rest.

    ...And yet.

She did not stop plotting. She did not cease betraying others. Perhaps she no longer recognized any other way to live. Perhaps she did and simply did not care. But Zhao Feiyan continued to preserve her life the way she had, in all its sides.

When the Emperor passed away in 7 BC, still without a male heir, an investigation would uncover the sordid truth - Zhao Feiyan and her sister had systematically murdered the sons and daughters fathered by Cheng to his other consorts, poisoned and extorted others in the court to achieve her goals, and engaged in all manner of illicit schemes to maintain her spot as the Emperor’s beloved. His death was determined to be the result of a massive overdose of an aphrodisiac compound that Feiyan and He De had been using to maintain his passion for them as their youths passed by.

Though He De killed herself shortly thereafter, Feiyan would cling to her position for another six years, but she was ultimately unable to suppress the truth despite her machinations, and she ultimately killed herself before others could put her to death or exile her to languish at her husband’s tomb.

    Personality:
A servant who calls herself an idol and has thoroughly embraced the idol culture of modern civilization upon manifesting in the current day, regarding it as a natural evolution of the courtesans of the Han dynasty. Sweet, bubbly, and good-natured in temperament and demeanor, Assassin lives her life as an image that is born to be loved and presents herself as such at all times. She smiles beautifully without fail, strives to always spare a kind word for others, and always acts with energy, enthusiasm, and grace. Such is the woman who rose to the exalted position of an idol of the Imperial court, the woman who became blessed and beloved by the Emperor and his court despite being born among the common people.

That is the image she cultivates and believes in. That is “Zhao Feiyan.”

That is not the woman she was born as. The woman she was born as was a product of the streets, of deprivation and of squalor, and prioritizes her own survival above anything else. Feiyan lacks anything that could be said to be common morality, valuing survival above all else.

Possessing a stubborn, single-minded desire to live, Feiyan was able to cling to life as an abandoned infant only because she refused to die under any circumstances. As long as she lived to see the next day, nothing else mattered. Any theft, any betrayal could be justified with the rising of another sun and the start of a new day. Assassin truly believes in the image of Zhao Feiyan, but simultaneously, she believes just as strongly that any action is justified in the name of continuing to live. To Zhao Feiyan, she is a truly faultless idol of the people, even as she commits atrocities and wraps herself in lies to stay their idol and preserve her way-of-life.

All others were simply means to that end, to be used and exploited in pursuit of that goal. With the exception, at least, of her sister and partner in crime. After all, He De had been with her when no one else was, whether it was the streets of Chang’an, the humble household of the Zhaos, or the splendid viper’s den of the Imperial court. Her sister had consistently joined her schemes, promoted Feiyan above all others, and supported her in her rise to the top.

He De could be trusted. He De would do anything for her. He De would live for her sake.

...That was why she couldn’t understand why her sister died first. Were they not supposed to be together to the end? Quite simply, she would not have needed to kill herself had He De not done so first. She could have survived even in exile with her sister’s support.

That is why she seeks the Grail. To guarantee her own life, of course.

All she needed was He De there.

    Class Abilities:
    Presence Concealment
    Rank: B+
The capacity to hide one’s presence as a Servant and a common skill of the Assassin class. This rank is suitable for spying. It is possible to disappear and become extremely difficult to detect. However, the rank drops considerably when preparing to attack. This condition does not apply to poisoning something.

    Personal Skills:
    Princess of Loveliness
    Rank: B
A charismatic nature not for leadership, but drawing in and attracting others in her surrounding. Whether a common musician or an emperor, Assassin’s natural beauty and grace is such that individuals naturally wish to protect her and to align themselves with her. The probability and favorability of establishing alliances and unions are greatly bolstered simply by Assassin’s existence.

    Discerning Eyes
    Rank: B
The technique of Human Observation made even more narrow. Assassin’s sense of the desires and wishes of others is outstanding, granting her advantages in social situations and charm checks. However, as this skill is derived from observation and objective analysis rather than intuition, it is necessary to understand an individual’s weak points by seeing their conversation patterns and actions to a certain extent.

As a commoner turned courtesan who manipulated her way to the throne, Assassin’s life depended on the graces of others, and she would have surely fallen from her precarious place in the imperial court had she relied solely on her looks. Assassin manipulated and controlled the court through a combination of seduction, blackmail, and political alliance, coercing others to act on her behalf even against their own interests. While it allows her to discern desire and win the good graces of allies, this skill also permits her to accurately gauge the temptations that can compromise another’s rationality and better judgment, doubling as a form of mental interference.

    Item Creation
    Rank: C+
The ability to create magical items. In Assassin’s case, she can only create potions and salves, and is unable to construct artifacts or familiars. Restorative potions, rejuvenating tonics, and various tinctures may be brewed and distributed. However, Assassin’s true specialty lies in poison and mind-altering substances - it is said she poisoned many of her rival consorts and their infant children and the emperor himself is said to have died after overdosing on an aphrodisiac she and her sister administered in secret. Many of her potions carry hidden secondary demerits that may be triggered or set to time release.

    Yayue
    Rank: A
A form of classical music and performing arts that was originally created in the Han dynasty for use at royal court and temples. Originally meant as ceremonial and ritualistic performances to honor heaven and earth, the gods, and esteemed ancestors or heroes, the practice of Yayue is a marriage of dance and magecraft - essentially, a means of physically invoking shamanistic magic. Through elegant, stately gestures and performances, Assassin may invoke and manipulate spirits of nature and the dead, functioning as a magecraft skill that bestows equivalent ranks in Shamanism, Necromancy, and Elemental Magecraft. At this rank, even the Six Great Dances are available to her.

    Yunmen Dajuan, venerating the sky.
    Daxian, venerating the earth.
Dashao, venerating the stars and all animals beneath them.
Daxia, venerating the rivers and flooding waters.
    Dahu, venerating one’s female ancestors.
    Dawu, venerating one’s male ancestors.

The spirits raised by Feiyan or elements invoked in this way may be imbued with poison in concert with her Item Creation.

    Noble Phantasm:
Crystal Plate - Steps As Light as Air
    Type: Anti-Unit
    Rank: B
A Noble Phantasm derived from anecdotes in the Imperial Court that Zhao Feiyan was as slender and light as a feather, so light she could dance on the finest and most delicate crystal or upon the palm of a man. An ephemeral existence dancing in the wind, “Zhao Feiyan” obtained her very name from how insubstantial she was.

As a passive effect, this Noble Phantasm makes Assassin nearly weightless, granting her a rank up to AGI and granting her plus modifiers in evasion checks. However, the true effect of this Noble Phantasm extends further than just her physical weight.

Originally, Zhao Feiyan was quite simply of too low birth to become the wife of Emperor Chang and empress of the Han dynasty. Not only was a dancing girl born in the gutters, but her adopted father was a lowly housekeeper. In order to qualify her elevation to Empress, she convinced the Emperor to falsify her rights and birth, elevating her unqualified adopted father to the position of Marquess of Chengyang.

Thus, as a Heroic Spirit, Assassin’s lineage, name, and personality are all falsifications, granted to her by others and enveloping her Saint Graph — her identity — in lies of convenience.

As such, this Noble Phantasm gives Assassin’s very “self” a value as light and transient as air. Her basic parameters and skill names or ranks may be identified, but information relating to her class, identity, and personality may be freely doctored by Assassin, letting her masquerade as another class, most typically Caster. In addition, information about the true nature of her Personal Skills are concealed until use as needed to aid in her deceit.

I knew nothing about Zhao Feiyan prior to this sheet so I can only assume that this sheet does her justice. See seems to be very dangerous for anyone that doesn’t have resistance to poison or doesn’t have any mental reaistance, but she also seems to make a fantastic ally with her princess of loveliness skill, although I would only trust her about as far as I could throw her (which ironically is quite far due to her noble phantasm). Does she have any way to attack or does she simply rely on the magic of her dances? I feel like you could probably buff her luck parameter as her ability to change fate seems rather high, other than that I have nothing to offer as a way to improve this sheet so great job!

Mm. The idea on C was that it was high enough to rise from the streets to the Throne, but not enough to prevent her bad karma in the end.

As far as offense, it’s mostly dance “magic” since her MO is to fake it as a support/idol Caster while laying delayed poison amongst her allies and enemies. But Yayue encompasses elemental magic, spirit summoning, etc.

I confess I had no idea who she was when I started either, but the FC seemed like a crossroads between performer and regal, so...

The idea of this one was basically “weaponizing and lying through one’s wiseups.”

I see, I’d say to stick with your gut then. I’ve personally always struggled with the luck stat especially for people that die unfortunate deaths like Assassin and my Mercurius, who used to have a higher luck stat due to simply be named after the god of luck.

I feel like this is a pretty good sheet, her stats are high but it’s ok due to how famous she is. The only thing that I would tweak is magic resistance because both saints and sabers are known for their high magic resistance, so a saint that is a saber should have around A or B rank magic resistance. Also I wasn’t aware that Joan had Durandal is this a part of the legend or was this simply for added flair?

Thanks that clears up the whole Durandal part and magic resistance is low because she isn't Jeanne, but Jehanette, sorry about not reading close enough the first time.

Does anyone have any ideas for what the shield of Mars/Ares could do as a noble phantasm?

Do you mean the Ancile? Since the most famous legend about it is eleven fakes being made to fool thieves, I'd give the shield the ability to split into twelve indistinguishable copies or something along those lines. Since this is the Nasuverse and wacky conceptual shenanigans are a given maybe it'd work on a quantum indeterminacy scenario where any of the twelve shields can be the "real" one if the user wills it. So for instance, it could be used to teleport items by placing one on the "real" shield and then switching it with another shield somewhere else. Alternatively, all twelve shields could just rotate around the user, serving as a kind of orbital defense.

This may be too similar to Rho Aias, but the 12 shields could form a layered barrier with each layer being harder to break than the previous one. The real shield would be the last layer and obviously the strongest, what with it being a Divine Construct and all

I was planning on doing something like having eleven perfect copies of the servant, kinda like Touko but if she could have her copies all out and about at the same time (The servant is weak to make it balanced). Do you think I need a noble phantasm for the original or would it be fine to just have the one for the copies?

    Faceclaim

    Class: Shielder
    True Name: Numa Pompilius
    Alignment: Lawful Good
    Place of Origin: Rome

    Parameters:

    STR: D
    END: C
    AGI: C
    MGI: B
    LCK: C
    NP: A+

    Height: 173 cm
    Weight: 72 kg
    Likes: Peace, Gardening, Rome
    Dislikes: Being King, Needless War
    Talent: Peace Maker
Natural Enemy: Romulus and other Warmongers
    Attribute: Man
    Traits: Male, Roman
    Armament: Ancile
Catalyst: One of the eleven Ancilia

    Skills
    Class Skills:

    Magic Resistance- B+

Cancel spells with a chant below three verses. Even if targeted by High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals, it is difficult for them to be affected. All lightning magic is negated

This rank has been achieved both due to the time period he lived in and the fact that he created a ritual that made him immune to Jupiter's lightning bolts

    Self-Field Defense- D+

Exhibits damage reduction surpassing the defensive limit value, but Shielder herself is not included as a target. Also, the higher the Rank, the more protective range spreads. It also protects others from plague type attacks as Shielder was known for praying to the gods and saving his people from a plague.

    Personal Skills:

    Charisma- B-

Having B Rank in this Skill is sufficient to lead a nation as its King/Queen. The morale of military forces he commands is not affected

Shielder is known for being the second king of Rome after Romulus and he filled those shoes fantastically, all of Romes citizens loved him. However he made an emphasis on peace and has no experience leading troops on the battlefield.

Discernment of the Poor - C

The insight to see through the opponent's character and attribute. Will not be fooled easily by lies or excuses at this rank.

Shielder lived a live of extreme discipline and had banished all forms of luxury from his home.

    Collector- B-

The 'talent' to collect high quality goods—a 'luck' that draws rare items into the possession of the Servant. However, because it is the Servant that owns this Skill, the Servant's Master derives no benefit from this Personal Skill. Shielder only collects items that may be of use to him in the moment and the future, so items that simply bring wealth or any unneeded aid will be discarded or given away.
    Noble Phantasms
    Noble Phantasm(s):

    Disbanding the Guard
A King of Peace Needs no Protection

    Type: Anti-Mind
    Rank: C
    Range: 1- 20
Max Targets: As many as can fit inside the aura

Shielder is gives out an aura that makes it so that no one wants to harm him, this is the crystallization of him being so loved by the people that he did not need Romulus' guard of 300 troops. This effect can be negated by anti-mental interference of C rank or higher, and the effect goes away slowly after the target leaves the aura bubble.

    Ancilia
    The Eleven Fakes

    Type: Self-Copy
    Rank: A
    Range: N/A
    Max Targets: 1

Shielder is able to make eleven perfect copies of himself that all function on their own. The fakes do not require mana, but can still be affected by command seals. These copies only have the Noble Phantasm listed above, Disbanding the Guard. This Noble Phantasm is based on the fact that when the Shield of Mars fell from the heavens, Shielder had eleven perfect copies made in order to protect it, the copies were so close to the original that even Shielder had no idea which was the original. These copies will disappear once the real Shielder has been killed.

    Ancile
    The War God's Shield

    Type: Anti-War
    Rank: A+
    Range: 1
    Max Targets: 1

This shield is the ultimate defense against war and is the real reason behind the peace that Rome had during the rule of Numa. It can absorb and convert any Anti-Army, or Army Noble Phantasm into mana for shielder to use at his own discretion. The downside of the shield is that is causes its wielder to become more and more like a warmonger, and is only resisted by shielder due to his extremely peaceful nature. However the effects can be noticed as the real Numa is more prone to losing his temper than any of his fakes. Shielder can release the absorbed Mana as an energy blast to counter-attack but will only do so should his life be in danger. Note that he can only use this attack directly after absorbing an attack.

    Spolia Opima
    Trophies of War

    Type: Anti-Noble Phantasm
    Rank: E - B+
    Range: N/A
    Max Targets: N/A

After defeating an enemy servant Shielder may take one of their Noble Phantasms, and either choose to convert it into mana or to use it as if it were his own. However as saber doesn't know specifically how to use the Noble Phantasm, it is weakened by one rank. This Noble Phantasm was created by the fact that Numa Pompilius was the one to create the rite of Spoila Opima where a fallen enemy general would be striped and his belongings/armaments would be kept as trophies for Rome. This rite was based off of Romulus doing the same to the king Acron

    Personality:
Shielder is pacifistic, but not necessarily a true pacifist, although it is true that he despises war, he does admit that it is necessary at times, and is willing to fight in battles himself if need be. He will most likely try to convince the other servants to find another way around the Holy Grail War without the needless violence. In his spare time he will work at homeless shelters and the like helping victims as he did in life. His wish from the Grail would be world peace, but should he find out that it is in fact an impossible wish to grant, he will decide to wish that Rome had stayed a city state, as he believes that the rapid expansion through warfare and the general size of the empire was what caused it to collapse. In this sense he also holds disdain for the majority of the Roman emperors especially Nero. In this aspect he is much unlike any of his fellow rulers of Rome. One way in particular to set off his temper is to attack innocents during Grail War or mocking the Roman Empire, or Republic. Because even though he may dislike the direction it went he still holds a great deal of pride for it. It's kind of the whole "no one bullies my brother but me" type of relationship.

    Relationships:
Shielder has a love hate relationship with Romulus, he respects him for founding Rome and building it up into the city that it was by the time Numa became king, but he hates the way that Romulus went about it, especially the raping and kidnapping. Should he meet Romulus in a Holy Grail War he would have a debate on what it means to be a true king and why peace and prosperity is better than gaining new lands and wealth through war.Creator Notes: (Optional)

Pompilius: Pretty cool sheet all around. For his Ancilia NP, I wouldn't have expected it making eleven clones of Pompilius himself instead of just the shield, so that's an interesting choice. Feels kind of overpowered to have twelve Servants for the price of one, but I guess his low parameters and the clones' lack of combat ability kind of balance it out. I take it if the real Pompilius is killed, all the fakes immediately disappear?

For Ancile, can Pompilius release the absorbed Mana as an energy blast to counter-attack? Given his pacifistic personality he presumably wouldn't do so normally, but in an extreme situation let's say? Also, the fact that the shield gradually corrupts him the longer he uses it makes me imagine a scenario where Pompilius eventually gets possessed by his shield and his fakes have to team up against him to try and put a stop to his rampage. Could make for some interesting drama, in any case.

Yes, if he is killed then the fakes will disappear I'll add that in to the sheet to make that clear, and I'll also add the ability that you suggested to his noble phantasm

I forgot to ask this before but if Pompilius is a Shielder how come he doesn't have Self-Field Defense?
