So I just rewrote parts of Palamedes' sheet taking into account the suggestions of Hermes and others. In particular, I completely changed her NP with a spear one, scrapped Child Of Babylon and Mana Burst (Wind) as well as modified her Questing Hunt Skill significantly. Any new comments would be welcome.

Also, I still liked my idea for Sharur (even if it didn't fit Palamedes) so I'll be keeping that in reserve to hopefully use for later. Heck, maybe I'll be writing a Ninurta sheet next...

The Classification of the Servant summoning system is designed loosely based on a medieval military division of labor, in accordance to the purpose of the Servants as familiars to fight in the magus’ Holy Grail War, mirroring the worldview and class interest of the magus. Having critiqued such societal arrangement, Marx proposed an alternative of a classless society, where one can become a swordsman, writer, or horsemen without becoming a Saber, Caster or Rider. Thus Marx’s ideas is applied to his summoning, classifying him as a Classless Heroic Spirit. The ability to observe and analyze individuals, societies, circumstances and ideas which compose the historical agents of the world stage, as well as its relation with each other. The basis of this skill is Marx’s conception of history called Historical Materialism, which states that the economic base is the foundation in which culture, religion, politics, etc arises; it shows that “circumstances make men just as much as men make circumstances”.

Karl Marx: So this is the advantage of writing a Servant sheet for a figure you're really passionate about. Obviously he's super wanked for a pretty modern figure (then again, so are Tesla and Edison so...) but I can positively feel the care and enthusiasm radiating off this sheet. The quotes add a lot of flavor, and Dumas' Era Observation Skill is well used.

Mhmm, that answer feels a little nitpicky to me. Even if he didn't use the word "morality" Marx clearly believed that communism was better than capitalism in some sense, or else why would he bother writing so many books and treatises promoting it? If communism was really a purely scientific law like gravity, there'd be no reason to encourage or hasten it, anymore than you'd need to help water flow downhill. It's also a law of nature that all matter will eventually reach a state of maximum entropy, but it'd be foolish to argue that means such a state is "good" or desirable. Marx also used words like "robbery" and "exploitation" a lot when describing capitalism, which are pretty much intrinsically morally loaded.

But in any case, I don't want to have a big argument with you over Marxism, and this isn't the place for such a thing anyways. Just pretend I didn't use the word "moral" in my question. Presumably even if he wouldn't phrase in terms of morality, Marx would have a problem with the people who twisted his ideology to justify killing millions and stained communism's reputation across a vast portion of the world in the process.

Avenger's Noble Phantasm, born from the takes that her ghost continued roam around holyrood palace in search of vengeance. It allows for her to manifest her grugde in the form of a spectral duplicate of herself.
The double takes the shape of a translucide red silhouette of Avenger. It can interact with the world without problem, but has the same uninpresive Physical prowess then Averger herself, so it doesn't prove much danger to other servants that way.
It effectiveness is in more of a scout role, as it can pass information to Averger instantly. The ghost has the equivalent of Presence Concealment at rank A and Lament of the Falsely Living at rank B. The ghost also cosume very small amounts of mana, so in even long term usage the cost is negligible. Furthermore, Avenger can deactivate the Noble Phantasm at anytime, even if the duplicate is far away, but she will usually keep it permanently active to cover for any blind spots she may have.

Background

Avenger's identity is that of Agnes Sampson, a Scottish healer and purported witch. Also known as the "Wise Wife of Keith", Avenger was involved in the North Berwick witch trials in the later part of the sixteenth century. She was considered to have healing powers and acted as a midwife. The indictment against her indicated that she was a widow, with children.
By the autumn of 1590, Scotland was aflame with witch hunts, and many of those sent to trial were questioned by the King himself. Avenger was accused by Gillis Duncan and arrested along with others, and questioned regarding her role in raising a storm who had endanger the king's ship. She was put to the torture, which she resisted at first but, after long stretches of being "interrogated", confessed to causing the storm by sinking a dead cat, to which her companions had attached parts of dead man, into the sea near Leith.
According to the official account, the king had not been convinced of Avenger's guilt prior to her confession, but afterwards changed his mind. On 27 January 1591 the charges of witchcraft against her were drawn up with fifty three points for "articles of dittay". Avenger was taken to the scaffold on Castlehill, where she was garrotted then burnt at the stake on 28 January 1591. Up to the today, the naked ghost of Avenger, usually referred to as Bloody Agnes, is said to roam the halls of Holyrood Palace in search of revenge.

Unlike many would expect, Avenger is a cheerful and carefree woman. A rarity among those of her class, she is actually a happy girl with a tendency to avoid conflict. She gives of a inpression of sweet and motherly disposition and of calming affection.
However, the truth is that she has quite a lot of conflicting feelings inside her. She was very disillusioned by her end and is filled with anger against those who wrongly accused and tortured her. Avenger keeps all of this feeling bottle up deep inside her, away from the prying eyes of anyone, but cannot completely extinguish them.
They end up escaping through her ghost. The red specter acts rudely and violently against anyone around it, only being keep in check by Avenger herself, who desperately tries to pretend those emotions are not her's

Her NP projecting a spirit of herself is a little weird since Servants are technically spirits already, but it does fit her legend. I can't help but imagine a lot of comical scenes with her ghost half swearing like a Panty & Stocking character (if this was an anime, her curses would totally be in Engrish for extra hilarity) while Agnes tries her best to serenely ignore her. Out of curiosity, if Agnes really grows to like and trust someone would her ghost self eventually show a softer (but still rough) disposition around them too? Sort of like the relation between Inner and Outer Moka in Rosario+Vampire.

Well, this topic is one of the many things still being debated by Marxists today, so, let's just assume that you're right. In any case, Marx did say something along these lines:

Communists do not oppose egoism to selflessness or selflessness to egoism, nor do they express this contradiction theoretically either in its sentimental or in its highflown ideological form; they rather demonstrate its material source, with which it disappears of itself. The Communists do not preach morality at all.

Thanks. The ghost is not actually a ghost, is more like a physical embodiment of her repressed feelings. Thus the personality and the "can interact with the world no problem" bits.
Yes, Bloody can slowly mellow out to a good master, but interestingly Agnes herself will also start to relax and be more open. It worth to keep in memory that they are not two different personalities, but two sides of the same personality.
In my mind, Bloody starts fights with a "okay master, let's kill da ho!"

The paradox that provides the basis for Rider’s existence. The 'Ship of Theseus' is a thought experiment that raises the question of whether an object that has had all of its components replaced remains fundamentally the same object.

This Noble Phantasm is borrowed from Theseus and is tied to Rider herself. Should a portion of her body be removed then refashioned then as long as Rider considers it to be an extension of herself then whenever it has become is turned to a Pseudo-Noble Phantasm due to carrying the mystery of the Age of Gods, allowing one to effectively make Noble Phantasms out of it.

Additionally, if one of her parts breaks and has to be repaired, the replacement part receives a similar effect so long as Rider considers it to be a part of herself.

Rider’s second Noble Phantasm. It is based on the second part of the Ship of Hermes thought experiment.

Suppose that after the ship’s parts have all rotted and been replaced over the course of a century, the removed pieces are stored in a warehouse. Then, after the century, technology is created to cure their rotting, restoring them and rendering them usable in the construction of a ship. Would this “reconstructed” ship still the original ship?

This Noble Phantasm operates on that principle. After parts of Rider are damaged and replaced, they can be restored. If the necessary parts are gathered, they are capable of being used to create a new body that is exactly like Rider. This new body contains a piece of Rider’s consciousness and can be operated because of this.

However, using this Noble Phantasm causes Rider’s severe identity crisis to escalate. Neither one of the bodies will be able to know which one is the “true” Ship of Hermes and this puts stress on Rider’s already fragile psyche. If this Noble Phantasm is overused, it will not only put a strain on the Master’s mana supply, it can potentially cause Rider’s psyche to break and result in the creation of split-personalities that inhabit the bodies created by this process.

If this ever occurs, the split-personalities will begin to quarrel among themselves over which one is the “true” Ship of Theseus. There is a strong possibility that this will escalate into violence, resulting in all of Rider’s bodies attempting to tear each other apart to “resolve” the question of who the “true” Ship of Hermes is.

Lore:

Theseus is one of the original heroes of Greece and mythical founder-king of Athens; he is one of the most famous and greatest among them, standing beside Perseus, Achilles and the great Heracles. But the Servant summoned is not Theseus. Rather, this Servant is the personification of a paradox associated with him.

The Ship of Theseus is a thought experiment in the metaphysics of identity, which supposes that the ship of the hero Theseus has been kept in a harbor as a museum piece. But as time passed, the ship’s parts began to rot and had to be replaced. The question is if the “restored” ship is the same as the original.

Rider is the legend and Mysteries of this thought experiment given physical form. Due to her original nature, her body is entirely mechanical and the parts composing her body will occasionally need to be removed and replaced with new parts.

Personality:

The Ship of Theseus being a thought experiment that examines the metaphysics of identity has caused Rider to suffer from a major identity crisis. She constantly worries about whether or not the parts that compose her mean that she is the original Ship of Theseus or if she is merely an imitation of the original ship. There seems to be no possible method to ease her worries.

Rider is very loyal to her Master and clings to that as the one thing that she can be certain about. Unfortunately, she is immensely afraid that her Master will reject her for not being the “true” Ship of Theseus. Because of this and her severe identity crisis, she constantly try to prove herself to her contracted Master, even though there is a high probability that constantly pushing herself will damage her parts and necessitate their replacement.

Another of her greatest fears is her second Noble Phantasm. She knows what it does and how badly it could damage her psyche, thus making her deathly afraid of using it.

It could be said that she fears it more than she fears learning the truth about herself.

Shout-out to Hermes for letting me borrowing his Theseus’ Ship of Theseus NP, though I did modify it a little bit. This Servant was originally Type-LUNE’s idea, so credit to them. Though, their original idea was to have it be the ship itself with Theseus as a Wraith anchored to the World by the ship and its NP would be the ability to endlessly spawn copies of him.

However, I then got the idea of making it into a shipgirl and I just had to run with it.

A skill that denotes one aptitude as a Divine Spirit. Let it be known that Shikome herself doesn't naturally have divinity and only obtained this skill because of her ingestion and subsequent metabolization of divine constructs from the fleeing creation deity, Izanagi.

A skill that marks one's ability to chase down a retreating foe. If to disengage is to reset the battlefield then to pursue is to lock it down and keep escalating. Counteracts Disengage of the same or lower rank though will suffer a rank down due to the habits of the skill owner. She's come quite close to catching the fleeing god only to fail due to her stomach.

The orders given by the goddess of the land of darkness are absolute. Bring her traitorous husband back to her. Whatever means used for the benefit of this goal are blessed with her approval. However, none of that means anything to Shikome as she will only keep 'chasing' him to sate her appetite. Shikome receives a conditional + modifier to her parameters.

The skill denoting the ability to fight at full capacity despite injuries. It was quite the miraculous thing that Shikome ended up devouring, and successfully ingesting, transformed items of divine origin and peaches, which are said to have anti-evil properties, and continue chasing after Izanagi without so much as a stomach ache.

Noble Phantasm

Yomotsu Shikome (Evil Women Rushing Down Divinity) D~A [Anti-Unit]:
A noble phantasm that bears resemblance to the 4th act of Shana-oh's wandering tales. It is one that summons 7 clones of herself, though they are significantly weaker due to the increasing lack of mystery in the modern world, to track and chase down a selected target. It essentially reproduces the act of 8 Yomotsu Shikome chasing down and almost catching a Divine Spirit, despite the odds involved. Due to the legend it is based off of, the potency can increase depending on the requirements fulfilled.

Said Requirements are:
The target has A rank or above Divinity
The target is Japanese
The target has shamed (betrayed) a loved one.

If the target is taken down using this noble phantasm, they are subsequently dragged down to Yomi and subjected to the whims of the Goddess residing there. However, the noble phantasm can be outright disrupted if the target has used several organic obstacles as distractions for escape.

Assassin's true name is Shikome, a Yokai that appears in the tale where Izanagi descends into Yomi to retrieve his deceased wife. When Izanagi grew impatient to see his wife, he lit a tooth from his comb on fire and was met with the rotten visage of his wife. Horrified at the sight, he ran away towards the entrance to Yomi while Izanami sent Shikome, one of her fastest servants, to chase and drag him back to Yomi. Seeing Shikome quickly close in on him, he transformed his headband into a grapevine. When this happened, she became entranced with the grapevine, having nothing much in the way of food in Yomi, and ravenously ate it. Remembering that Izanagi was the one who made it, she pursued the god faster than before, much to his panic.

He then proceeded to use more distractions like turning the teeth of his comb into bamboo shoots, which she also proceeded to devour. Lastly, he threw peaches from a tree at the entrance of Yomi as a final distraction before sealing the entrance with a rock, denying Shikome access to more peaches, oh, and trapping Izanami too.

Personality

A surprisingly lazy person for someone so fleet footed, Shikome is someone who only becomes motivated at the idea of one thing: food. The very sight of something to eat is enough to get her up and active so prospective masters will have regularly bribe her with something to eat to get her to do things for them. Otherwise, she'll just laze around all day until food comes to her just like she did in the past. However underneath all the neutrality, Shikome does have a steadfast loyalty to those willing to put up with her and will change her behavior accordingly in subtle ways.

However, Because of her Impurities, the Skill was drastically ranked down, now it only giving a rank of debuff to their physical stats and being slightly more effective on Japanese servants.

Protection of the Underworld(EX): A Skill that marks one as a pillar of the underworld, Assassin's Autority. She is one who ruled over the Underworld and became a queen protected by the Underworld. Gives a powerful buff effect to all the allies and changes the performance of the Noble Phantasm.

She is also able to absorb things into the gate, sending them into the Underworld itself. Things inside the Underworld won't experience the pasage of time, so the state they enter will be the same as the state they come out regardless of when they are retrieved. Furthermore, Assassin can use this gate to "travel" from one place to another, taking advantage of the difference in time-space between the Underworld, achieving a result similar to taleportation.

Assassin's second Noble Phantasm, a always active power representing a physical manifestation of her curse upon the land of Living. It is actually supposed to be a Anti-country Noble Phantasm that starts an eternal cycle of creation and destruction, but a power that great cannot be supported in a normal holy grail war.
While someone simply looking at Assassin would only see a white and pure maiden, careful inspection would reveal a thin, almost imperceptible, veil of mist surrounding her at all moments. This is the "Fog of Yomi", a cloak of dirtness that hides her true form.
By calling the Noble Phantasm's name, Assassin can released the fog into the area around herself, rebeling her true form as that of a roting corpse, and inflicting everyone in it's reach with the greatest curse of all, the Curse of Death. Normal humans who enter in contact with this power will almost certantly die in a question of minutes, while Magus will probably resist for longer period of two to three hours. Servants will not die, but will be extremely weaken.
Beyond that, then curse will instal the concept of mortality in all of those who it affects it. Powers like Regeneration or forms immortality are completely nullified, and any unnatural forms of healing, be it through Magecraft or otherwise, have their strenght vastly reduced.

Background

Assassin is Izanami no Mikoto, she appears in japanese mythology as a goddess of both creation and death, as well as the former wife of the god Izanagi no Ookami.
She, together of with husband where tasked with creating the first land. They did so by using the spear Amenonuhoku to churn the sea bellow heaven.
According to the Kojiki, various gods were born from the relationship between Izanagi and Assassin until the fire deity, Kagutsuchi, at birth burned his mother and wounded her fatally, before being killed himself by Izanagi. This act finished the Kamiumi, or "birth of the gods", and allowed creation to continue.
Subsequently, Izanagi went to Yomi no Kuni, the dark world of the dead, to find his wife and bring her back. However when he found her, she had become a rotting corpse causing the flight of Izanagi to the world of the living. For that betrayal, Assassin gave to world a

Assassin is a cold woman. Having being betrayed and forder to spend her days inside a small, dark and dreary place has made her numb to the majority of human emotions.
she has no problems working alongside her Master, but her approach to it will be very mechanical and business-like. A good relationship is only possible so long as there is a clear understanding that this partnership is build to be beneficial for both sides. However, she still finds enjoyment in appreciating nature and is specially found of beaches, since they remind her of the best age of her life.
While she used to have a grugde against the living in the past, nowadays Assassin has grown to understand the necessity of her job in the great scheme of things. But she still would probably be bad at intreacting with her former husband.
