Just by existing under Capitalism you're inherently going to be complicit in systems of oppression. Accepting that fact and still working to change the system from within is the only way to keep your conscience and stay sane.

Thanks for the correction. It's been a while since I came across that story and it seems the details got a bit muddled in my head. My basic point still holds though that some people seem to hold a much higher standard for ethical consumption in media then in other forms of business (where it's accepted that you can participate in the system while still criticizing it).

If the Coco Cola story doesn't hold (soda) water, then substitute in your favorite story about corporations doing terrible things. I'm sure you can find some.
