Also this is what Ash's 2nd NP is:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brahmashirsha_astra
The 12 years thing was also in the NP description. Probably why it is anti-earth.
I guess it's a Legend of Dracula situation. Dad told him to never use it, so it's just there in his moveset collecting dust until a really mean Master pops a Command Spell.Brahmashirastra(Scorching Light, manifest the ocean that imprisons for life)
Rank: EX
Type: Anti-Land Noble Phantasm
Range: 1-30
Max. Targets: Everything withing range
The ultimate weapon he received from his father Drona.
He was told he should never use this weapon no matter how great the calamity he faced, but in response to Duryodhana’s death, he activated it against his better judgement.
Although it was possible to resist this weapon’s world-stunning destructiveness with the full might of Arjuna’s arrows, it left scars so great that the legends say the whole area around them became barren and unproductive ground for 12 whole years.
Although this is registered as his Noble Phantasm, Ashwattaman will never use this.
Even in Fate/Grand Order, this Noble Phantasm will never be used.
"Majesty! Majesty! Majesty~!!"

The gist of it is that they interrogated an alien inside area 51, and there are 3 main things:
1) He's from the future, our future.
2) Humankind will destroy itself in the 21st century through nuclear war
3) He came here to observe us
And in FGO you have David Bluebook being basically the only person (outside of the wandering sea and Chaldea) who survived the bleaching of the Earth somehow, and he's traveling to investigate Area 51, which is also the only area which didn't get bleached.
So the crack theory is related to this, and how Bluebook is likely a fake name, and something something Bluebook is Daybit from the future (or vice versa). It sounds like a fake name, and there's also the fact that Daybit seems to know a LOT more than anyone else. In addition to that, iirc Daybit was called a "void in space", similar to Vortigern, so maybe that's related to how he's not from this time, sort of like how the lostroom mats said that in order to Rayshift you have to like remove the subject from the equations of the world or whatever so as to not cause a paradox (I don't remember exactly what it said).
FGO also has a pretty good track record with the "split/double entities" where one is a good guy helping you, and the other is the enemy, but they're actually the same person (Roman/Goetia, Moriarty, Mephisto).
So yeah, crack.
I'm pretty confident in the theory. Something like David Bluebook goes back in time and changes his name to Daybit.
WHy the hell TM love making female char under 170 cm?
Spoiler:
Wandering on internet
He doesn't have to change his name actually.
"David" in David Blue Book is デイヴィット. Daybit is デイビット. Both ヴィ and ビ has same sounding. His name and Blue Book's name are literally the same in JP lol.
If theory is true, we've been translating it wrong the whole time and missed the joke of ヴィ and ビ.
