Class Skills
Territory Creation: D
Creation of a territory that is advantageous to himself as a magus.
In Andersen's case, it is not a type of territory created for intercepting incoming enemies, but one that bewilders even the eyes of the foolish enemy Master.
In the Study he created in a place no one can found, he skips out wo-, no, continously moves his brush.
A certain Master had had her patience run out with this style of overtruanc-, no, procrastination; she then made a small box, locked him inside, and make him write as fast as he can.
Tool Creation: C
The ability to create various tools by means of magic.
Although he does not know of any magic, it seems like he can more or less write up things by his literary works that put his Noble Phantasm to practical use.
-----
Personal Skill
Human Observation: A
The skill to observe and understand humans. He doesn't simply observe them, but also hypothesizes their life, preferences, even their whole live; a strong memory that doesn't forget this informations becomes an important thing to have.
THe root of Andersen, who is known to be a pessimist, is not that of rejection, but understanding. What he can do is simply to write stories, but that is exactly why he continously swore that he shall be more earnest than anyone else in what he speaks of.
High Speed Incantation: E
The ability to hasten magic incantation speed.
It seems like in his case, instead of magic it benefits the progress of writing his manuscript.
Innocent Monster: D
Indicating the depth of distorted truth by means of rumours, without concern for the actual person's own will or appearance.
In Andersen's case, it is the "curse of the readers".

Märchen Meines LebensA Story for Your Sake
Rank: C+
Type: Anti-Unit Noble Phantasm
Range: 0
Maximum target: 1 person
Marchen Meines Lebens.
The unpolished manuscript of his written autobiography "The Fairy Tale of My Life". Each page of this document utilizes the magic energy provided from the people who loved the author known as Andersen, takes the form of "the Andersen that the readers see in their heart", and capable of actions as Andersen's offshoot (bunshin).
However, the true value of this Noble Phantasm is displayed in beginning this book anew and writing a full copy about the observed target's ideal life and way of being. If the book comes out well, it establishes itself as a Noble Phantasm and makes a target grows in accordance how the target is written in the book. The degree of the effect escalates depending on the progress of the manuscript; several pages would only make few mere coincidences occurs, but should the manuscript is finished, it's possible to even make the target grow even to their "greatest form".
It almost appears as an omnipotent Noble Phantasm, but it is difficult to put this Noble Phantasm to practical use. The time taken to write the manuscript is one obvious problem, but his own negative outlook of live and his pride as an author do not allow for a convenient development, and if the target is not someone that stimulates his inspiration, there is the risk of the manuscript becoming a poor piece of work.
(*Märchen Meines Lebens is German title for his "The Fairy Tale of My Life" book. Yay for NP name with corresponding language)

Personage
First pronoun: ore
Second pronoun: omae/** (no honorifics)
Third pronoun: shounenshoujo/sounyakunannya/zanryuudomo
- Character
He is one of the world Three Great Writers, but as a Servant he is summoned with the appearance of a 10 year old.
A gloomy and pessimistic poet with a wicked tongue. He completely has no interest in being liked by others, and is incapable of discovering his own worth. Due to that, he does not have the outlook of enjoying one's own live. Described briefly, he is an "abusive pessimistic author".
Ha had never managed to gain what he desired during his live, not a single thing. One can consider that that personality of his is the cause for that.
Andersen looks as if he hates anything and everything in this world, but at his root his character is one that is good at taking care of others. Should others depend on him, he would answer them to the limit of his ability.
He is methodical like an author is, and perfect in aftercare as well. Due to that, if one can bear even his abusive tongue, one can say that he is a Servant worthy of trust. While he maybe a pessimist, he will never laugh at the effort of others in "living correctly" and "accomplishing things with all their might".
Because that is the form of ideal world that he, who had continued on composing his career, had once dreamt of and wished for.
- Motives and attitude towards Master
He has no ability in combat, declaring that he is a faulty good of a Servant and saying "I am not useful in the slightest!" aggressively at every opportunity.
If one carelessly praise his work, then not only he would say that a fan would definitely not want to know him and return back any opinions and complaints, but also keeps on making excuse and abuse the Master with "You dumbass!" Truly a pain in the ass of a Servant.
Whether the Master accept his attitude as "abandoning responsibility to fight" and "insubordination", or instead as complete sincerety, depends on how the Master takes it to heart.
Andersen has no wish towards the Holy Grail. However, he would keep on saying things like "Since you've summoned me, I'll work, but honestly speaking I really, REALLY don't want to work" as he continues to help the Master, resulting in a complex and guniguni* sort of distortion, like a straight stick crooked in water. He is that sort of tsundere Servant.
(*guniguni is a mimetic word in japanese; i dunno whats the appropriate english word in this context)
- Speech example
"I'll introduce myself right away. A third-rate Servant, Andersen.
Still, that's the face of an ordinary person, so ordinary that it amazes me. One that knows not of grief or sorrow; simply the face of a victim thrown away to this world.
Very well. That isn't bad. That's how a jester should be. I'd say that foolishness is a sin, but being thrown away to this world as an ordinary one is a windfall. In any rate, good and evil is both something you can enjoy!"
"Let us disparage the value of human earnestly."
"Even assuming life have values. In the end, it's probably lower than how humans envision it."
"Mm. Thus the brush is broken, the writer left forgotten. Truly, what a refreshing feeling!"

Historical depiction
An actual person. He was born in Denmark in the year of 1805, and had died from liver cancer in 1875.
Nowadays he is said as one of the three great fairy tale authors, but half of his life had been filled with failures and agony. He was born as a son of a cobbler, he had planned to become an actor but gave up without showing any result. He then set his eyes on becoming a poet but was valued harshly.
Finally, with the money he gained from his self-published books he proceeded on leaving the country. He was thirty by the time he had finally been recognized in the world with his book, "The Improvisatore", which was written with the inspiration he had earned during his time outside of the country. Afterwards, he switched to become a fairy tale author, but his fairy tale is by nature filled with mayhem and sorrow, poverty, and colored with the literary style that paints death as salvation.
He borrows that shape of fairy tale and keeps on writing the despair of utter grief from poverty and how that there's no other escape from it than death. All the while covering every thoughts that whirls within his own heart with those beautiful sentences.
His work includes "The Ugly Duckling", "The Snow Queen", "The Little Match Girl", and others.
He was single his whole life. It is said that he had died while holding a letter from the one he had loved, keeping it close to him.
-----
Ingame role
He appeared in the 4th chapter, "Death World City of Fog London". He had seclude himself in the inner room of the apartement belonging to Henry Jekyll (human), who was struggling in the London which had been visited with strange phenomenon. Together with the strangely friendly William Shakespeare (Servant), they had written manuscripts. While also passing as literature comic duo with Shakespeare, there was also a scene where he displayed his characteristic as a fairy tale author.
-----
Role in past works
He appeared in Fate/EXTRA CCC. His Master is Sesshouin Kiara, who had immediately withdrawn from the battle. With her being his Master, he promptly divulged his true character. He never fought until the end because he has no combat ability, but with his peculiar status, he bear the role of "a judge of this tale, neither winning nor losing."
-----

Author connection. A relationship around the extent of just-because-they're-in-the-same-circle-does-not-mean-they-are-best-friends-in-particular-but-there-is-no-other-friend-so-they-hang-out-together. Still, he frequently looks for Shakespeare's study. He will never ever say it, but his respect to Shakespeare is obvious for anyone to see.
Dumas
Arrrgh! Vexing, yet interesting! But I'll never approve of this sort of pleasure for the sake of pleasure!
(while grasping tightly the newspaper and goes all like "go read the sequel for the Count of Monte Cristo!")
Alter Ego

The glasses with super long sleeve is here! But I regret a bit that as expected, maybe the white robe looks too simple. Each time I put Andersen in the party I'm like hmm isn't there any other clothes that would fit him better? Even now I'm still thinking about it. Something with overly long sleeve... padded kimono... pjamas... (Wada Arco)

-----
Personal Skill
Enchant: A
Bestowal of concept. It adds powerful function on others or their properties.
Fundamentally, it is a strengthening ability with the purpose of making the Master fight.
He himself watches over the battle as an audience, irritating the Master as he inquires the Master's psychological state.
Self-Preservation: B
In exchange of having no combat ability, as long as the Master is safe he is able to escape from most dangers. In other words, he himself never fights at all.
Yet for all that, he himself is fond of high risk high rewards type of tactic.
King's Men: C
The Globe. A miniature magic version of Shakespeare's Noble Phantasm, "Let the Curtains Rise to Thunderous Applause."
Unlike his Noble Phantasm, it doesn't consume much magic energy. It summons shadow actors without any combat ability and manipulates them at will.
Shakespeare is the one that decides the shadow actors' lines, but the shadow actors themselves automatically imitates the target in regards to the lines' details (such as the tone of the lines or how it is said), so there is no worry of exposure on that part.
Even if one understands that the shadow actors are fake, it requires a powerful force of will in order to break this magic.

First Folio.
The ultimate play that Shakespeare unleashes.
Regardless of friend or foe, the target is made into someone that appears in his plays. On top of that, the target is then thrusted with challenges. Of past regrets for heroes, and of moments of their fall for anti-heroes.
An anti-mind Noble Phantasm that breaks the mind of any and every hero.
(*as people would probably already know, First Folio was a collection of Shakespeare's play post his death. Its actual title was Mr. William Shakespeare's Comedies, Histories, & Tragedies, but modern scholars commonly calls it First Folio. It was printed in folio format and contains about 36 plays.)

Personage
First pronoun: wagahai
Second pronoun: anata
Third pronoun: kare/kanojo
- Character
Wagering everything on the works that he writes, one can say that he is a writing junkie.
Fundamentally, he holds no interest on anything other than "things he finds to be interesting", and he detests mediocrity.
Falling into either side of good or evil, he sometimes even wishes to write about the tragedies on his own allies.
Not even a single virtue in him... and yet at the same time he is not wicked. Truly a neutral existence that could fall to either side of the scale of good and evil depending on which is more amusing.
- Motives and attitude towards Master
He does not attend to the Master with pure sincerity in mind.
To begin with, his natural style is one that supports the Master, a type of Servant that does not really show himself.
In addition, he detests mediocrity and is fond of disturbance. It is the same way in regards of how he treats the Master; preferring an all-or-nothing, sink-or-swim type of gamble over a steady plan.
In other words, the component that he desires from a Master is "a combat ability that is comparable (or if not, then at least a Mystic Code that is comparable) to a Servant" and "a stormy life full of drama, one with accomplishments as a hero, be it falling to a tragedy or a comedy".
And obviously, a Master possessing such components is decidedly rare in this days and age.
- Speech example
"Caster, Shakespeare! Have arrived here! Now then, shall we enter the beginning of this tale!?"
"The thing I hate is decidedly obvious! I absolutely loathe ordinary ones. For they are no more than rabbles, easily manipulated by the likes of Antonio*!"
"May your tale is met with a blessed ending! May you face your path with strength, no matter what tragedy befalls you! And should your tale becomes a comedy, may it ends such that anyone would stand in applause!"
(*Japanese said Antonii, so i assume this is referring to his Antonio character perhaps?)

Historical depiction
Perhaps the most famous playwright in the world. Even in the history of England, there are not many authors who managed to gain pupoularity that equals those of heroes.
Not only in England; even in Europe, Asia, or America, there are probably nobody who do not know of the name Shakespeare or his works; "Romeo and Juliet", "King Lear", "Macbeth", or "Merchant of Venice". To say nothing of his numerous quotes, such as "To be or not to be; that is the question" or "O Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo?"; there are probably only a very small amount of people who have yet to heard of it.
In the present era, the first edition print of "First Folio" that had survived amounts to roughly 200 copies. Its value would change depending on the damages on it, yet it still ranges around aproximately three to six million British poundsterling* each.
...Be that as it may, while it is an evident fact he had written numerous of works, it is also a truth that those works had influenced roughly every "stories" in the modern world.
To add, he himself is an eccentric exceedingly fond of stories.
Just as he is fond of tragedy and drama, regardless of good and evil.
He is ever in embracing the hope for the Master and for all the others connected to him.
A hope for their story, yet to be seen, yet to be heard, and yet to be known.
...And somewhere in his heart, he embraces the faint envy in something he has no other way to describe.
William Shakespeare is, too, a drama actor.
-------------To take the leading part, in a story filled to the brim with vicissitudes.
Perhaps, that is the very thing William Shakespeare desires of.
(*it was 350mil to 750mil yen in the mats; convert it to british pounds because i felt like its more appropriate, and the amount corresponds to what i found for lowest and highest bid of a copy)

Gaia whispers to me to keep on drawing, to class change him from a bit of an old man to fullblown old man! Ok, I guess the severity and stress of the manuscript deadline has really piled up on me. Now that I look at it, even the drawing of his last ascension looks like the face of a man finishing his manuscript while chugging energy drinks, all day all night. For his sprite, I really enjoyed giving it the finishing touches of the looks-quite-handsome-if-he-just-stay-silence-but-gives-off-bad-feelings-the-moments-he-opens-his-mouth nuance. (Konoe Ototsugu)

Requiem for Death.
The mystical tune that has its origins on the legend where prior to his death, the death god requested of him to compose a funeral march.
Those who hears this composition will have to do a resistance check on MGI and LCK. Should the check result in failure, then all of their physical status are forcefully degraded by 2 ranks, and they receives powerful continous damage that bypasses all sorts of defensive magic, ability, or armor.
Should the check result in a success, then their status degrades for only a rank, and the continuous damage is reduced by a half.

- Character
A supreme holy man with complete and utter sincerity when it comes to music.
As a human, he only do what he himself wants to do, without understanding or comprehending the feelings of others; a really problematic guy who lives only according to his whims. Due to the music that he plays is that of the highest quality, his character is of one that does not think of people or a relation with them; a personality that raises a certain kind of image in the eyes of the people. Namely, a man like that of the devil.
The person himself is fond of talking with people comparatively, jokes in particular. Generaly his jokes are ones related to music, hard to be understood. The ones that he REALLY likes, the dirty jokes, is intentionally sealed (because his beloved Marie told him to). Still, occasionally he blurts them out anyways.
- Motives and attitude towards Master
At first, he regarded the Master as someone with a little bit of something in terms of magic, but practically none in terms of music. But as the level raises, he began to hold interest in him. "Now that I listen to it, it's not bad of a rhytm. No, it's not his voice. Not his words. But his existence."
But in the end, it's nothing more than an interest.
He realizes that he possesses an inhuman personality, so he wishes to put some distance against those close to him precisely because they are close to him.
His wish upon the Grail is "happiness for Marie Antoinette".
For her, shining as she arrived at such a cruel end, to listen for the greatest of piano performance that the current him could do.
- Speech example
"There are only 2 types of artist Servants.
Either they appear as a child, or as an adult."
"Those who appear as a child are those types. The ones who was a genius during their childhood, but turns scum when they reach adulthood. That's why they appear in the shape of their time as a genius child."
"Then what kind of guys are the ones that appear as an adult, you ask?"
"Well, obviously, they are those who are scums already since their childhood."
"The next piece would be... ah, I think I'm taking too much job here..."
"Well, in both the eyes of others and myself, I am a scum of a human. When it comes to Marie, that was a day I will never forget even a single day."

Historical depiction
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
The world's foremost composer and musician. A figure of the eighteenth century.
He possessed an abnormal sense of pitch, leaving behind numerous compositions for later eras with that unwavering genius of his.
He had been called the prodigal child when it comes to performances of piano and stringed instrument, having been invited at the age of 8 to perform for the empress of Holy Roman Empire, which had been dominated by the House of Hapsburg, Maria Theresa.
At the age of 14, he had managed to wrote out of memory the polyphonic music that had never been taken out from the Sistine Chapel of Vatican for a hundred years just by hearing it once.
There are even anecdotes where he put out a composition without corrections, revisions, or even a rough draft.
The child beloved by God. The marvellous genius.
Even in Germany and Austria later years of the musical world, where it is said that no figure able to surpass Beethoven could be born, he is a special, unparalleled, perfect existence, extolled by the many geniuses there starting with Brahms.
-----
Depiction in FGO
While on one hand he exhibited talent in music, he was also admired in the world of magic. There exists a legend saying that Amadeus had a relation with "a certain secret society".
As a Heroic Spirit, he includes magic originating from Orpheus of the Greek mythology, and even possessing deep bond with the magic of Solomon, just like foretold in the legend. As a Caster, he establishes attacks with musical magic using sound as medium.
Amadeus is the magus of music. It holds the literal meaning, as well as an exemplification of him being a prodigious musician.
His music has always, always been devoted to a single woman.
When he was young-----the prodigious child of music was invited to Vienna's palace, and met her. The maiden as if innocence itself given form. For the first time ever since he was born, he was struck with a culminating nervousness and had fallen over as a result; she then hold out her hand to him kindly, the shining maiden.
Her name was Maria. She who in her later years would be known as Marie Antoinette, and would later disappear with the dew of the gallows. The tragic queen.
Mozart himself had died even sooner then Marie.
Which is why, he laments. Perhaps, had I still been alive.
Had only she was not met with such a cruel end on the guillotine.
While knowing them to be an impossibility, he cannot help but to wish for it.
For days filled with happiness to visit upon the shining Marie-----

During the initial stages, I have him concealed with mantle just like Jack-chan, and tries to give off the feeling that as he opens his mantle the clothing themselves looks as if it becomes a glorious opera stage. Which is why there are parts that imitates stained glass and curtains. Like how one would understand from seeing the drawing of his last ascension, with large influence from the movie Amadeus at first I put up a design that blends in various of homages, like Amadeus' father's clothes, or his form when returning to the requiem, but midway I went with emphasizing his arrangement, so it feels like the original prototype design has mostly been removed.
