I'm not sure I follow you here. "People dislike loli design even though the characters aren't one" makes no sense Either they're a loli or they aint.
That said I personally dislike a lot of the loli designs, not because I'm a 'prude' (fanservice is fine when done well) but because it's sexualization of children and that is disturbing. The ones that don't look like they're deliberately trying to titillate kiddie-fiddlers aren't an issue.
At risk of once again throwing myself under the bus, I am nevertheless compelled to point out that the people who fap to Wu's last ascension and kiddie fiddlers are not necessarily the same.
