That aristo oligarchs don't like them. To be a politician in a democracy should mean to be a demagogue, without question. Who are those who sneer out the word "leader of the people" and disdain it? Why do they despise the people who live around them - the people who grow their food, maintain their city, man their ships, fight their wars, and vote in their assemblies? Because they hold themselves apart, because they think themselves above all the rest, even now. The people mean nothing to them, except as ants to trample underfoot when they wish; except as cloths to wipe their bloody hands; except as rags out of which to wring every last obel. They are nothing but monarchists and tyrants-in-waiting!

Both are bad I guess, but Trump literally seems insane to me at times, so I reckon he must be the worst of the two, and Hillary is the lesser evil. That said, how come it's always just The Republicans and Democrats fighting anyway? The way I understand it, third parties are allowed, it's just they're so small that no one cares, and so they never present any candidates for elections. If so, they really should do something about that, and people should support and vote for other parties to stop this damn innefficient system of only having two real parties in practice.

Because in a winner take all presidential system the natural equilibrium is two parties as large as possible. Also you are aware that they do in fact out up presidential candidates, right?

Even in terms of presentation, Trump is terrible. His debate responses are not what you want as a President or even a forum user. He's like one of those YouTube commentators who reads a fairly healthy paragraph, with cited sources, and responds with 1 word, "wrong", with literally no citations on why. Yes, this happened to me before, and thus, those types of people just annoy me.
