It's Higashide's tweet. If they didn't put a Servant on that scene, it'd not be fitting, and using silhouettes would be very strange. Then they decided to put someone from GO, in which Beowulf and Tristan among the possible candidates.

But Berserker was supposed to be replaced by Avenger right? So either that is the reason they decided not to go with Beowulf or they were planning on showing him in another class.

Tristan would be cool though.

so Fionn is kinda most fitting out of 3

I don't think Beowulf and Tristan are confirmed. That Higa considered one of them before going with Fionn as Darnic's servant during the 3rd, doesn't mean they have to be there under other masters

The most popular set up seems to be Siegfried and Sigurd as two sides of the same coin, which will probably pick up steam again soon, but one of the cooler ideas I encountered was pre- and post-resurrection Lemminkainen.

So basically we know more about the Third war which is :
- The Edelfelt had two Sabers thanks to their trait
- Midget Hassan as Assassin with a doll user Master.
- Avenger or Ruler summoned by the Einzbern to replace Berserker
- And now Lancer Fionn summoned by Darnic

Based on previous wars I would say the Tohsaka got an Archer.
If Zouken or another Matou participated then they probably would use a different Servant than Berserker or Rider (since it seems Zouken always changes his Servant) meaning that the Matou would be the Master of Caster.
Which would only leave Rider as the big unknown.


Hey who knows maybe we'll finally get all the info needed for a recreation of the Third war.
