Really, one route of Unlimited is all you need. Doing the Yuuko end is recommended since she gives you a bit more cryptic babbling that will cause some "ahhhh" moments in MLA, but other than that nothing really changes in the routes except for who you end up with in the end (which was Ayamine if you have god-tier taste).
Read Alter. It's the meat of the story.

Nah, I am good, the reason I didn't continue in unlimited was I could almost feel the game genre turning from action comedy to angsty overload, like, I was actually watching the metamorphosis which was all but complete by the end of the game. Which matches up with what everyone says about it alternate, and I don't really feel like trudging through 50 hours of mud.
