I've heard that it now only counts stat total pre-skills, so increasing your score with Fury doesn't work anymore. I would like to run another high stat unit instead of Klein but it's impossible to do deathless runs against double Mage teams without a ranged unit in your team.
I did a big roll yesterday hoping to get bunny Lucina, but no, for it was not to be.
I got Ryoma though which is alright.

Lucas is decent but niche (?)
Clair's hit and run looks pretty good maybe brave weapon might be good idea(?)
Faye rather weak but her bow sounds good against other ranged/distant counter units. Maybe she should work with life or death and such?
I sort of feel line rolling, but not sure.
Lucas needs to inherit Bonfire to make use of his ridiculous defense. He's a good candidate for Brave Lance too, since his speed is beyond saving.
Alm is like a Marth that has more HP and Atk in exchange of less Spd. He needs a bit more Spd to make use of Windsweep.
Clair is a speedy Res tank flier. Kinda like Caeda.
Faye is iunno. I never raised a bow unit up to this day.

Alm is in a weird place in between Marth and Chrom. In fact, if we take the halfway point between Marth and Chrom, Alm is:
HP + 1
ATK - 1
SPD + 0.5
DEF - 2
RES + 2
So yeah, pretty much right in the middle of them, with a bias for resistance in place of defense. So while I wouldn't call him worthless, I'd say he's probably the worst of the Falchion users due to not specializing in any way, while also being JUST low enough in speed to not really be faster than "bulky non-armor" units.
Damn. +Def Lukas is like the best thing you can get.
He'll be rocking 50 def through fortify. Have fun being impervious to lance, sword, and colorless.

Do your units have any merge ? Also Are all of their skill slots filled ?

No merge. Skill slots and Specials are filled for all, but I inherited more skills than I actually use to Klein and Marth when I was experimenting around. Do they count towards score unequipped too? I kind of want to see how many points per match I can gain using different inherited skills.
At 50 Def Kagero only does 10x2 damage to him

Alm seems to be the best out of the bunch because he's like a budget Lucina

ALM +SPD -RES, Neutral, +HP -ATK
Lukas +ATK -SPD
Marth +SPD -RES
Hector +HP -RES
I'm not going to complain about Hector lol.

Yeah. All the units this time are pretty mediocre. Other than Lukas, who got some stupid inheritance potential.
Can't help it when the dude gets 46 Def by default.
+Spd -Res Alm and Marth is definitely the best IV out there.

The importance of merge now force me to not use my strong heroes without merge. Pretty ironic
40 orbs gets me a +Atk/-HP Ryoma
