Derelict Household
Evening
As father disappears in a flash of black smoke, I breathe a sigh of relief. It could have gone a lot worse all things considered, as satisfying as it would be to scream back at him and tell him to screw himself probably wouldn't have ended well. I just need a damn break, with the Disappointing Father, a new "friend" and the drama this morning. I resign myself to one last night of tedium before it all begins tomorrow. One last night of Reiner's crap, screaming into a pillow and weird ominous dreams about glass before the preparation.
As I walk back to the Clocktower premises, I take one last look at the city around me. I suppose I'll have to get used to working in the darkness in the Grail War.
By the time I return to the premises, mostly everyone's gone from the hallways. With no one running around screaming, I can appreciate the classical architecture and rustic aesthetic a lot more. Naturally as a place with people habiting it, especially people like Magi, it's never truly quiet. There is always some noise: people studying late in the libraries, odd murmurs of people likely performing kinds of experiments - both academic and… well other to say the least. But at least I can enjoy the breeze and beauty for now.
Till it's broke of course.
Deliberately loud footsteps echo throughout the halls. The kind of walking that the arrogant to make sure their presence is known, the big headed and the entitled own that walk like no one else. I know who it is, I can already sent he smug smirk on his face. I've no intention of putting up with Reiner's shit right now. I dart away as quietly as I can, taking a longer route to our room than I otherwise would have preferred. If he's out on the prowl, he's either looking for me or going to someone else's room. Either way, I should be free from him tonight.
As I get back to my room, I see a note sent from Risa tucked under the door, she must have sent a familiar maybe as she was tuckered out.
"Good luck with whatever it is you have, remember that we only have self-defence class tomorrow and we're free for a few days. Perhaps this time you could take your tutor out to a nice dinner? "
If it's just that then I should be free for a while and have time to either study with Father or look around to try and steal a relic. But that's a problem for tomorrow me, right now I just need some bloody sleep. Not even bothering to get changed, I make sure my alarm is set and imbue a spell to shock Reiner if he tries tampering with it. While I'm at it, I set up a small 'Anti-Prank' Bounded Field around my room to stop his shit messing with me.
Now utterly exhausted from today, I collapse face first onto my bed.
There's nothing. I'm floating in the ether, surrounded by nothing and floating in abject darkness. I'm cold but I have no control over my body, it feels like I'm floating in the ocean, almost ethereal. I look down at my hand to see my skin is cracked open with shard of my hand falling off and dissolving.
As a writhe around out of fear, the fractures only grow, spreading across my arm then to my whole body. I can feel myself falling apart, my body is breaking down, the pain is so great I cannot even scream! As my limbs break away I see a flame in the distance, a hand reaching out from it.
I cannot comprehend who, or what it is but in instinctively reach out towards it. Surely it can help me, save me. However, the closer I reach for it, the more I break down but I need to endure it so I can break free.
It's so close, I'm so close but I need it, I can feel the warmth of the heat muffling the pain but the most of my body has been destroyed. All that's really left of me now is my arm and head but even that's half gone.
A reach out farther and farther. I can see the hand but as our fingers touch, the fractures cover the reminder of my body entirely.
Thus kindly, I shatter, waking up a sweating crumpled heap on my bed.
1). Go to Self-Defence class as it's the last one I have for a while.
2). Skip class and go look for a relic to use in the summoning.
3). Withdraw from Clocktower and train with Father.
4). Write in!
A). Prank Reiner and get even (Write in!)
B). Wimp out and don't mess with the toolbag.

Okay, those glass-related visions are pretty obviously going to be thematically relevant at this point. Very likely to the Servant we're going to end up summoning.
As for my choice... I'll just go with 1. Makes sense to go for a bit of self-defence before participating in the great murderdeath games, after all. And heck, maybe we'll encounter some interesting faces there.

COME ON LET'S GET THIS GOING
#1, never hurts to prepare. I mean, there's a chance we may engage in combat ourselves...

We swallowed our pride yesterday morning, we can do it one more time:
Leave a note:
I want to stop. Whichever of us started this annoying perpetual fight, I don't remember, I'm inclined to think it was you, but at this point, I just can't be sure, so in the case that this is all my fault, I apologize. Whichever it is, at the rate things are going, we'll end up damaging the room, and neither of us wants that.
I get it: I'm a lowborn peasant in your opinion. In my opinion you're an elitist prick. We both would rather have a different roommate, but that just doesn't seem to be happening, so maybe until we can remedy the situation, we can at least be civil to one another. We've both put too much time and effort into messing with each other anyway.
Bottom line: I think we'd both like to stop feeling stressed out just by going back to our dorm. So regardless of our opinions of one another, let's just stop.
If Reiner is going to be in the war, this could provoke him into tipping his hand early. If he's not, it could be a step in the direction of having him as an ally, or at least not an enemy. And considering he's our roommate, that'd be a very good thing.

I joined two years too late...
that's pretty good
switching my vote to that one
could be ill-advised since we still literally haven't met Reiner ooc but still
so yeah im going C
... Now thinking back, maybe provoking someone who's probably another candidate for the Grail War is an poor choice, so I'm jumping my choice to 1C.
Basically I'm imagining Kayneth with some of Shinji's personality mixed in, and playing to what would make him tick, but not tick too much.

Hopefully Reiner actually has SOME redeeming qualities... Although the chance of it is somewhat unlikely.
Spineless cowards, all of you.
