Amateurish Guide to Japanese Life and Culture and How it Applies to Fanfiction
For the express purpose of reference in writing fanfiction set in Japan. A guide for people that might be otherwise unfamiliar with Japanese culture and could use mundane day-to-day information about living there that can help add atmosphere and flavor to a story, from things in the home to peculiarities at school to what is socially common or uncommon and so on. Included will be some examples that a person can look to from anime and manga that can give them a feel for the setting they intend to write on. SC-13


Which is a little annoying because one of my options for staying there probably wants to leave before 9pm so I may be pulling an all-nighter Friday, fun.

If anyone is going, I have no cash, but I can trade a sleeping space and shower for goods as I'll be moving to Japan so I'm getting rid of a fair few things. Or goods from Japan once I'm there, hah.
