I really don't remember seeing any comics involving that dynamic before the Materials with Jeanne's comment came out.

Checking it out, It was released 2016. Interestingly I had thought it must have started when Jeanne D'Edge became ChibiJ.
Y'know. The actual event wherein Jeanne D'Edge herself turned into a child and in some unexplained manner is around as Jeanne D'Edge and ChibiJ at once.
Jeanne participated in saving ChibiJ and showed some affection towards le ebil twin, which was Christmas 2016. That really was the beginning of the Jeanne Sisters.

Or at least a small hint that they decided to go all in on due to fan popularity.

I guess the next big question is WTF happened to Jeanne to turn her into.... well. What's coming in a few months?

With what I know however, the detail in the FGO continuity I'm missing is the point of complete flip from being wary of evil copy of self to oneechan EX. apart from fan influence/turning into gag character as befalls many a popular character/just because.

Isn't it during the finale of the Da Vinci event? Like you find Jalter harem and Jeanne comes out being all "You're so cute when you're angry. Call me Nee-san". Or maybe one Jalters interludes?

It was the worst part of Apoc.

She's looking after a newborn, and suddenly they're in love. That was literally the extent of that romantic development. Shirou's "BUT UR A GRILL" was better romantic material than that.

I don't particularly like it either, I'm indifferent about it. Only stating that was pretty much the only thing about Apoc I don't have disgusted memories of. I hated the shit-tier animated fights at the end more. Except for Chiron/Achilles - that was the best thing in that show. Okay, I guess I have one thing I liked about it, heh.

The mixed reactions to the last stretch of fights live on! Also neither the controversial episode 22 or the billion camera angle filled Sieg and Amakasu fight were badly animated

That I did. Sieg x Jeanne and Sieg x Astolfo art is literally all I see whenever I search up his name. I thought he'd get more art with Guda after the Apo event but that was just bust

Oh neat, apparently the FGO X Himuro no Tenchi - The Seven Strongest Greats Arc - short will be airing with the LB2 NA stream that happens next week on the 22nd.

Also I guess with that stream being there, we're looking at about early July for LB2 itself. Still need Summer 2 rerun so that should start next week, than 2 weeks later on July 7th or so?
