Though the body is so much less of a shitbag creation than, y'know, her entire character. Every single line she has is "HURR SHADOW MORALS PREFECT BLUFGH" *moronic drooling*. I haven't burned a single SR to date, and I've got Stheno and Fionn both at Bond 6, but now I'm sorely tempted.

The Sukeban Deka theme is played straight and they even make fun of her being behind the times even studying "modern" culture. I like Raikou mainly because it obvious why she is trying so hard, given likewise she has appreciation for mothers because her mother spared her, yet she was Miss Military for most of her life with Kintoki and regrets that. And Kintoki basically said the more into the knight classes she goes, the stiffer she gets, but there is still that core of regrets where she keeps the "mother" business.
I would imagine Saber Raikou if they want to fulfill what Kintoki prophesied, would be a more dere Balalaika type character who is 95% military mindset. I think Lancer Raikou is sillier 1.)Summer and 2.) It's not purely Lancer Raikou, its Berserker Raikou forcing a spirit origin change.

Having a kid doesnt automatically make you a mommy, and being a mommy doesnt require having a kid. The requirement for being a mommy is having mommy energy. Sheba and Tomoe have kids, so they are moms in the literal sense. But theyre not mommys, they dont possess the energy. Tituria has some degree of mommy energy. Raikou is an attempt at crafting a character that consists of nothing but mommy energy, but the craftsmen were incompetent and the energy is of poor quality. An amateur might think wow look at how much energy there is in raikou what a jackpot, but a connoisseur sees what a poor source of mommy she is. There is a lot of it, but its of such poor quality that her net energy output is still low.

I don't really have a problem with the mother thing, or Raikou in general (no, that's a lie, I do find the kink weird and her character kind of ridiculous, but that's par for the course for some of FGO's writers, and that bit of imagination can give a new spin to old stories), but holy fuck did someone shit the bed making Lancer Raikou. Seriously, go look up her lines. I'd say she's a one-note character, but that's an insult to one-note characters. She's a one-phrase character. Literally every single line she references that stupid japanese schoolchild position.

And for this Raikou, the public morals bit was a cover all along, she lets it slip that she just wants to show off for you with the swimsuit and the public morals bit is just a smokescreen to edge out competition. Works for me.

I'm pretty sure Raikou hating Shuten has absolutely nothing to do with jealousy. She's been bred and conditioned to hate oni, and she hates Shutendouji in particular because she's a bad influence on her "son".

My problem isn't whether the situation makes more sense if we're disconnected from the action. It's that the fact that were disconnected from it makes it hard for me to care, I'm the type who self inserts very easily so these kind of stuff actually affect my investment
