[Indeed things did get better toward the end when it seemed like the story was going somewhere as opposed to being tired rehashes of horror tropes that not even SigBryn's disappearing like George and Daphne could redeem. Similarly the after story and cleanup phase felt much more appropriate for servants doing whatever. The lack of particular care or urgency before during the events - could've just gone with the good old singularity sucking people in and they've gone a bit loopy.

The backend stuff, the adapted story of Xu Fu and his cursed expedition was actually interesting. Don't have AssYu, but it was nice to see Yu Meiren make peace with being at Chaldea with Xiang Yu. The confessions of Lanling was cute lol.

Emiya the ex VN protag is great. Never before has this grumpy guy felt more like Shirou. Maybe even more so than certain Servant later.

And of course Jeanne showing up brightened my day.
Unhinged neesan Jeanne tanking the character harder than goofball mad scientist Kohaku or eating machine Seiba. Making Jeanne D'edge even better. Even if they did recycle the Rin Weblog joke.


Seeing all that's happening in the neighbour threads. I guess it drives home even further that I feel my team is complete. Anyone new I roll for will be just because I wanna have em around rather than making them new mains]

Ye this dungeon crawling format not so good with busyness :V

P.S. Also having a look at the new CCs, I can't detect any improvement in NP gain from either the Bunny or the NP gain Command code lol

I mean, there's the full covering voluminous robes, bangs covering half the face, no visible bust, and most shots being shoulders and up so you can't see that pose. It makes sense.

From the appearance alone it's understandable. But one shouldn't make that mistake if they've read the summer camp story, where Xu Fu got constantly being referred to as "she" and "her". That's why I'm surprised Strange_One made that mistake, and not just them but some ppl on reddit too when they talk about how good this "shota" was in the story.

To be fair, I have seen alot of people on Reddit and even Discord show they don't really read the story at times and only remember beats but not the actual reasons themselves(Like alot of people will point out Da Vinci saying Servants cannot destroy the Planet... but ignore the clarification as on why they cannot later on in Shinjuku, or even something as simple as basic character traits like everything with Kiara just for the sake of pairings in Summer 5.). Compared to the big stuff, it's kinda funny that people believe Xu Fu is a boy despite not only the story beats you over the head that she's a girl, but even the huge spiel in her Diary that she finds it weird people thought she was ever a boy to begin with.

I'll say it was a typo and perhaps i had in mind that in the original legend this adapted , Xu Fu was male.

Also I'm amused that caused so much comment and made this thread look lively for a moment.

New download milestone campaign can give you up to 72 quartz based on how many Servants you have at final ascension.

Alright, Event story done. Without hitting a single FQ so far, I was able to bank about 2000 of each shop currency thanks to having rolled a lot the first time this happened. Not too bad.


-edit- I feel like a fucking idiot, but this is also Lasengle's fault. Apparently farming the 5* XP doesn't count towards this week's Master missions, gotta do the 4* and below ones. >_>

Yeah, I was braindead farming 3 of them like I usually do to burn off AP, than noticed that I was still at 4/7 for the week and had to check. Was quite annoyed. 4* Embers get burnt now XD

Welp, this was certainly a very welcome quartz infusion after the fiasco that was Summer.

Now all that's left is to manage to keep it until October.

Working though the Ooku, I got Sieg to kill a ludicrous number of maidservants and Kamas. I hope transforming into a dragon over and over isn't too exhausting.

I went and leveled and skilled Chiron to 6/7/10. Best decision I have ever made with FGO. Guy basically replaces the secondary support units for quick and buster teams. I have been wiping nodes in this game easily.

I've been using Okitan mostly since so many of the nodes are cavalry. 2nd Append and a 50% support charge and she's good to go, unless it's a single high health or an Archer.
