Can't say i'm all that hyped for that, but i lack Foreigners of any kind so i definitely can't ignore the free Idol Alter.

This event gives like 12 costumes which is nice. Finally real clothes for Ushiwakamaru.
Nitocris's is my favorite of the batch though.

We do get 3 summer costumes every year for the guys. Which is a step down from completely new summer characters, but you don't need to spend any quartz on them.

Yeah that is a huge disappointment, the casual outfits can be nice but they're not swimsuits...

You see I actually hate this logic especially in this year that only has 5 guys for the whole of it lol. So the girls have both more costumes than the boys AND more new units. And also as Rafflesia the refusal to make most of the outfits even actual swimsuits or show an inch of skin even as they try to gaslight you into believing that they are in swimsuits (though the summer next year is at least much better on that front)

Like costumes are nice at times but 9 out of 10 times I'd say I'm happier just getting a new unit cause all the over all benefits far outweigh the pain of shelling out quartz for me especially when I only roll like 3 times a year anyway

I waffle between new units or costumes. Units are better and come with 3 new costumes themselves, but you have to decide if you want to deplete your quartz to get the, and then spend 20 mil XP, 150 mil Qp, and grind whatever mats are gatekeeping you at the time. Compared to that, tossing a small amount of Qp and mats is much easier.

There's also the fact every one who's gotten a summer costume, could really use a SSR or SR version. Is Merlin the only SSR to get one?

Damn that Boar is a beefy boy. Thankfully there's a Magifender Oni who can blow it up quite well if you've got the support. Semi-tricky thing is the first two waves, but I think Nito can clear them well enough since they're Bronze. Will have to try later when I'm home, had to head out early today. XD
