Yeah it was a new thing with the latest JP Xmas event, someone already cut her out to be solo (aka be used to meme) and all that fun stuff. Also the little paper book thing was blanked too for those who want to put whatever they want in there.

How the hell does one actually raise CE levels decently?

A quick look on that term is essentially leveling those shitty 1-2 * CEs to max and use them as fodder. Hm. Does that really make that much of a dent in CE experience? Using extra 4* CEs of shit I've already maxed doesn't do jack for raising other CEs once they're over a certain level, always felt odd doing it.

the important thing is that it saves cost because otherwise its like almost 200k per 20 fodder CEs at high levels
its pretty tedious but quite possible to get several lvl 100 CEs

Hm, I'll look into doing that tomorrow. I've been banking FP for no real reason, so I guess this gives me carte blanche to spend some of the 700k I have.

Does it really give more XP to do that than feeding the individual level 1 CEs separately? I'd have thought the XP given by a single level 20 1* would be the same as all the XP combined to make it level 20.

it gives slightly more, because a CE gives a (miniscule) amount of extra exp if its lvl 20
i.e youll get all the exp it took to make it lvl 20, + the tiny bit of extra exp you get from it being a lvl 20 CE rather than a lvl 1 CE
it could add up if you fed a lvl 50~ CE to other copies over and over again but your time is probably more valuable than that

The level 23 2star CE can make a five star CE go from level 1 to level 20

Neither. Just save your Quartz. Forever. Don't ever spend it on anyone or anything. You'll never be disappointed that way.

10x is always better because of the guarantees. The only reason to single roll is for memes or if you just want to throw some quartz away hoping for a miracle.
