Yeah, so I've come to understand. Still sucks that you either clear an entire board and are stuck on the same shitty quest for too long, or you reset it before you're done which does my completionism no favour. I can't wait for the 90+ node where I'm not paying attention to which tools I'm getting.

This event has mostly been putting me to sleep outside of Anning and the rats sections up until she screwed over Voyager and Nemo and not I want to toss super Bunyan in the woodchipper

Also the story is baffling me because Bunyan is almost consistently terrible with her attempts to "fix her messes" involving working other people to the bone and then saying generic niceties about how she'll totally fix this later and somehow that's always enough to get everyone to forgive her for everything and even be friendly with her. Why does she get so much grace when she does fuck all to warrant it?

Man, reading those comments is so funny. I gotta love how the writers were acting about LB6. I too would be afraid of people that managed to predict where that was going.

Favorite one was the collected dumbfoundness of the group at Baby Caren.

The event sure is weird. For one part I love a good part of the presentation, from the cutesy, cartoony map, to the OST being from the LWM animated special and the animations the Riyo servants got, but the story, outside of some little moments, sure has been repetitive. Coupled with this the annual collab event, and I can see where the reception came from.

It really feels that whoever wrote the event was trying to emulate Riyo's style of writing which ended up causing more problems.

Also slightly annoyed that Super Bunyan's skills feel like were made for a SSR from 3 years ago from her release, hopefully she will get a buff in the Mahoyo collab event.

But if there one thing that truly is getting me on my nerves are the stages only dropping 2 of the digging tools, thats just mean. The 90+ node can come fast enough.

The mice's portrayal has been the highlight of the event for me, which makes it all the more painful that I didnt got them.

St. Louis and Memphis both drop all Shop and Dig currencies, so if you wanna burn your AP with a 6-slot list of Cranking CEs that's what I would advise doing. But yeah with the 90+ unlocking tonight, that'll make it the overall best node.
Sadly for me no CE drops at all, just the one random Bonus one I got early on. CE luck was there for the gacha at least, but with the Dig currencies being so valuable to this psuedo-lottery, been focusing on them.

Thinking about Bunyan herself, her character is weird, being this social media focused person, but not going to the whole zoomer extreme that Nagiko took. She feels restrained in a way, which is ironic considering that she is a Riyo character of all things.

Sometimes I wonder how her reception would have been if she wasn't such an annoyingly carefree person in the event, going "welp Master of Chaldea, time to grind again teehee", and a the same I wonder how things would have been if someone like Jalter or Eresh would had their first playable apperance in an event being like this one, putting the player in such a repetitive grind in and out of universe.

4* Tickets and Blue Apples coming with Thursday night's reset, along with Castoria Banner and rotating banners including Miss Crane, Jalter, Yang Guifei, Shuten, Molay, and Cleopatra.
A few other goodies from other event bits like Training and Hands of all kinds unlocked for a bit too, a new Percival Interlude, etc. But the meat is at the top.

Anning is unironically great. She makes good points, dunks on Bunyan when it's needed, and more importantly: D I N O S A U R S. Or, well, Jurassic creatures that are commonly called dinosaurs even though they are not.
