Implementing pity in a non-anniversary event? That will give people a head start to save up for next year, and at least dolphins to aim for Muramasa in New Year.

Could've also added Mighty Chain mechanic to improve the gameplay better, but I guess that one's reserved for anniversary at the earliest.

Without pity it was always an 'up in the air' thing. I was always thinking during lesser banner that a roll or two isn't that big a deal. If I wasn't going to get it in ten shots, I probably wouldn't get it in eleven either, so who cares if I toss a roll at Valentines. But now I know definitively that the one roll I wasted is the threshold between guaranteed Arc or nothing.

With pity it might reduce the amount of spending in general, since now people can plan purchasing rather than haphazardly buying to hopefully get the Servant, so there'll be banners that might give small to no investment. But they also guarantee a stable income for specific banners, since they know that Quartz' purchase would increase right before fan favorite's banners.

They usually do that anyway with surprise banners having Servants people want to get like we got with the surprise Summer 5 Banner with Fujino and Kiyohime Lancer and the Imaginary Scramble 2 with Abigail, Lancer Melt and Summer Osakabehime.

Hm, maybe the pricing increase in most other regions will balance it out? Idk, I'm honestly surprised that the NA price for SQ didn't jump higher too.

For me though I did my standard 'meh' role of 5 tickets 1 multi. Grabbed a bowlcut and that's fine for me. As for the future I'm not going to rely on the pity system since I don't have NEARLY that much spendable income to use it as a crutch; I'll just dump SQ when and where I feel like it as I always have, and I'll get what I get. :3

I missed the Anime NYC thing so all I knew was coming was Pity, but I see that Master Level cap was increased to 160, and I'm getting SQ fragments after every node now. Didn't expect the fragments @_@

Also the banner will be change every three days from Beni-Enma > Eresh > Caster Nero > King Hassan > Summer B.B.

Protip reminder to anyone getting up there on the size of the game in their phone storage - clear the Cache every once in a while. I just cleared about 6GB from my phone from FGO alone and it only took about 40 minutes to re-download the necessary data.

Jesus though, this game IS all about the Servants, but it's also all about the sprites, animations and voice lines in terms of the size @_@
