It's a minor annoyance, but at least the Missions get completed relatively quickly - at least compared to other mission events, like the Guda3 rerun we just did. XD

Hm. I wonder which will be the better Assassin usage after this event is over, NP5 Gray or NP4 Cleopatra. I'd assume Cleo, but with the double stacking of Q/B up buff and Q/B down from her NP, Gray might sneak ahead. :|

Difference in rarity aside, both of their pros and cons are pretty clear-cut to me. Cleo's deck lets her to Buster chain with her NP, whereas Gray can't. She also has 3 turn buff compared to Gray's 1 turn, albeit chance-based. Though Gray's NP effect compensates that. But Gray's buff to specific cards gives additional benefits like more stargen and NP gen over normal ATK Up, though small. Also her instant NP charge is preferable over NP regen. But her Invul is tied to her steroid, making her less flexible than Cleo.

Overall, Gray is more suited to fight fast, whereas Cleo needs to go through several turns to benefit from her kit. Though Cleo's NP demerit which could kill her instead of leaving her with 1 HP makes NP spamming kinda risky.

Yeah I'm mainly seeing if it might be worth using Gray, but then again doing that means depleting the Bone reserves once again on two skills since that 3rd skill isn't worth using Bones on at all...

What point in the story do I need to be to fight the raid when it shows up? I've been procrastinating and only up to the third patchwork currently. Not getting anything in the event banner kinda murdered my motivation, lol.

You need to reach and complete section 10: The False Holy Lance(1/3), and complete four quests colored white; Saber Wars, Gawain fight, Accel/Zero Order fight, and Okeanos fight. Afterward it unlocks Babylonia fight with Benkei instead of Ushi.

Speaking of that, does the event boost make Luvia viable or should I go for class advantage?
The raid boss is Assassin, I'm pretty sure.

I personally think it makes her fine, hell with enough Crit damage boosters it should take off at least half HP. Maybe close to 1 shot. Just make sure to have Debuff cleanse for your main DPS or partywide if the wrong one gets applied.


Also, holy fuck I didn't realize there was such a spoiler on the event map for the truly observant. Zoom your map in, and look at the river near the Saber Wars photo.

Also, for the upcoming raid, I set Skadi up with MLB Holy Maiden's Teaching CE for people who prefer Quick DPS and one shotting it first turn. With a bit of RNG, a Quick Crit Brave Chain on turn 1 should make short work of the raid. Also equipping MA Mystic Code to shuffle cards in case not lucky enough with the first hand.

I'm probably going to run Melt with Black Grail and Double Skadi to start, maybe switch to Sanzhou and Merlin if it isn't working out and I get enough QP to finish off her first skill for the charge.

I commonly dislike Assassin-class raid because how limited the Quick DPS option you have; Nyalter, MHXA, and Melt. Out of the three I only have NP1 Nyalter. So I shouldn’t focus on her NP too much and maximize her crit strength. Double Skadi with starbomb is the way I could think of.

Other non-Quick options are Magifender and Vlad. Can’t bring out Magifender’s peak strength without both Waver and Merlin, so Vlad is my next best choice, albeit requiring some setup with just Tamamo.

Tag Team Shishou with added support Skadi/Waver/whoever with Bella Lisa can oneshot Barby with an assist from Arctic code's damage up. Apparently Demon Pillars count as either divine or undead rather than demonic, who'd have guessed?

Holy shit, as I was typing this a Scathach/Skadi/Skadi team just hit a 713k NP. It's a shame that for all the Assassin gems I'll get from this, there's no one I really want to spend them on in the near future outside of BunnSaber or a Yu spook (but isn't she story locked?).
