Next year's event is camping in the mountains, which is why Sigurd, Emiya, and Lanling's costumes aren't actually swimsuits... is what I would say if the girls from that event weren't wearing revealing bikinis anyway. Sort of the same thing as this one being in Vegas, so in that regard the guys' outfits make sense, but then all the girls are wearing bikinis so that reason goes out the window.
Though I've seen a lot of people thirsty for Emiya and Siegfried's summer costumes regardless.

It's not like they are bad costumes, but if you are doing a summer event and putting all the girls in bikini I expect you to do the same with the guys like any other gacha lol

Man this event suddenly bogged down. Getting to the thirty mil was no big deal but then trying to jump to sixty million with these events is a chore. Please tell me some higher paying nodes will open soon?

You can use Fever tix from daily login and mission rewards to do special nodes. In my case, I used Mona and Bella plus support Bella instead of currency CEs, including on regular nodes to catch up.

Honestly I feel incentivized to use these Fever tickets just to try and bump up the QP potential (and I have caved and spent a couple so far) but it's honestly not as bad as it seems - at least not yet. We're basically on a timegating schedule of clearing a Casino and unlocking its corresponding VIP node every two days, so as long as you can get as much QP as possible via Mona/Bella Lisa and Foumes CEs for boosted QP it's not too bad right now. Remember also that this is yet another 3 week event, so the QP gates were probably scheduled around taking two weeks of natural AP or so to clear, even though it's just a little over a week to finish the main story or so.

Basically, I guess Apple if you want to, but I don't think its overly necessary right now. But if your time looks to be limited for the second half of the 8th - 18th, may want to Apple to keep up to date with the QP gating after all.

I followed a suggestion and gave him MLB Kaleidoscope and pairing him with Paracelsus (equipped with the Merciless One CE), Asclepius, and Waver. Has been working out reasonably well!

It depends. The beefcake for guys is usually about the pecs, their arm muscles and abs, so they get away with just trunks and going shirtless. With girls usually the cheesecake taste is more diverse in the thighs, booty, chest, and some have a taste for abs too, thus bikinis, one pieces, just in general more skin is shown.
Not so many go for the speedo for guys because quite a few already have regular outfits emphasizing their junk or basically wear what amounts to speedos anyway(for instance, Spartacus would likely get something more fashionable if they didn't double down and give him a rocking speedo), so more "cool" fashionable outfits are made.

I just find the fact that nothing about their costumes scream summer or are even allowed to be as fun and creative as the girl's own outfits super boring, the fact that they became increasingly allergic to exposing skin as the years went by is just an added annoyance.

The latest costume teaser rectifies this problem for me though, even if the wearer wasn't the five star I wanted
