My luck turn around a litlle, got 3 more CEs, 1 dmg (i have 2 MLB now) and 2 kitchen (i can mlb without losing drops now)

Got np2 for my boy Izou.

Tried the Leo fight 2 more times, the first i tried to buffstack Musashi and stall, almost succeeded, the second try i went with Seiba, Merlin and Waver, success, no one died.

Also, already at 60+ boxes.

Stalled out Leo finally. 47 turns. Managed to chip him down to 500k of his second bar before Mash and Tam went down. Then Bride came in and did 300k with her NP but Waver ate a crit In the end I was down to Shiki with 700 hp and Nito with 22, and Leo had 4,000 and a Guts active. Nito ended up with the kill, 40 Spatans dead overall. Rolled the ticket, and boom Kuzuki CE.

For the Izou fight, would people prefer I keept my Skadi there, or should I put in Sanzang or Ilya with the damage CE?

Also, screw this Leonidas fight. I may try again on the event's final day or so.

Who else do you have. If you have Tamamo and Merlin I'd personalty go with Skadi before you break the first bar you could get Merlin NP stacked and this can help stay alive with heals Tama can control the NP and get Merlin invincibility ready while having Skadis NP is a back up for keeping the team alive.

Tried to use Holmes to negate the crazy defense, but it didn't work.

When did it ever.
Also for the record, I'm not dead, I just took a look at this event and went fuuuuuuuuuuck that so I'm playing Grabble instead.

Skipping this event, no way am i doing a tedious box grind event right after that travesty of a summer event.

Asking for help guys. Is it practical to clear out about half of the Spartans first before focusing on Leonidas in order to minimize his buffs before breaking his first bar? Always got screwed by those upon-death Debuffs from the Spartans.

I just AOE'd him until his bar broke, focusing more on the mooks than him. And by the time he broke my damage dealer was doing a third of his bar without needing to be a def ignorer like Void or Okita.

you only need to clear like 20-30, to clear half of them you'd need to spend all day on the quest

Ergh... good point, taking down 150 units gonna take forever. Had a brain fart there. An AoE Instant Death seems to be the most appealing option. Guess I'm gonna leave this one out for last.

Try an AoE Saber, get some survival, get some NP charge, focus on punching out the high HP dudes and AoE whenever you can, and you'll kill him eventually.

Who else do you have.

Waver and Tamamo, but no Merlin. Which one would be a better support?

I'd say Izou then though I'd suggest putting her in the back and have Waver, Tamamo, and Mash chip away with BQA or AAA (rember the Art card will do less damage if you do) if you don't have a CE that helps charge NP till you break the bar and till Sanzang come the ones ahead could deplete his HP. Izou has an NP shield but Sanzang should do damage. Hope this helps. My Holmes is NP3 and I can't think of a damn CQ where he has been super useful. I think I've used Amakusa more than him and I don't even have Amakusa.

This was whack, got Izo - Sitting old man NP2 -Izo again. Anyway yay, I won't have to roll his banner(s?) again the future for a chance of NP4-5.

Yay, I've conquered the Hot Gate.

Unbelievably, I used Gil of all people to clear up the Spartans, with support Merlin as the DPS and Mash as the taunter. They all survived all the way to the first break bar.

Gil bit it after a while, and Skadi took his place. They kept chipping down Leonidas' HP while surviving Spartans' attacks. Until around a quarter HP, Merlin and Mash were down and Okita appeared to finish him off, with Skadi's skills at the ready. Took me 38 turns.

4th CE drop within 24 hours while farming fries, and I finally got a CKT.

Now my OCD will leave me alone until the next Gilfest.
