I managed to get myself the Carmilla I wanted, but it took half my quartz. Now I'm stuck trying to decide if I want to roll for the Merlin banner. He'd really help me out with all the buster crit servant I have, but Castoria is right around the corner and I'm not confident the anniversary quartz are going to be enough to land her. But it's also his last banner outside of GSSR. But Tamamo next year is also a great buster support. And Castoria is going to get more banners next year for LB6 too. But I have a bunch of arts servants who would love Castoria for the Fest event this year.

About Servant Coins, the press release says they'll also be given during events/promotions, but I don't remember ever seeing them when ever I looked into future event shops. Are they like the Gold Fou's where they show up in the shop every event for a bunch of gold currency, or more like those pawprints that come on such a drip feed they may as well not exist?

In a Summer Event right after the Anniversary where the Coin system was introduced in JP, there are Coins for welfare available in the shop, 30 in total.
Not sure how it's gonna be onward in NA now that the feature is here early, though.
Dunno about any methods to acquire coins other than rolling the Servant or raising their Bond level. :|

Do all Servants get Servant Coins for extra copies? I've rolled a few copies of Caster!Cú Chulainn even after getting him to NP5, but I didn't get any extra Coins for him.
Servants up to 3* don't receive Coins retroactively from past rolls, except for Angra.

But if you're talking about rolls after Coin System was introduced, then dunno.
Bronze and silver Servants apparently don't get them from retroactive copies, but they will on any further copies you might roll from now on.
I wasn't aware of this until I saw that my Bedivere didn't have enough for any skills.
So event servants only? Fuck that's terrible.

The really fucked one are limited and story locked 4 stars and (expecially) 3 stars.
- It takes time but you can get the coins you need for FP gacha Servants. In a year I opened up all their append skills.
- If you are a year 1 player you probably have a lot of coins from old nonlimited 4 stars, at least.
- And for 5 stars, you get enuogh for at least of couple of skills just by summoning and bond.
Limited and story locke 3 stars are a nightmare. You need Bond 12 for 1 skill. and that's it, you can't get more, unless you summon at least 2 more of them and you get them to bond 15.
Because you are too young. Or too stupid. Or both.
Welfares got done dirty the most if anything, and worse for older welfares since they've no way to get more Coins yet even in JP at the moment. Honestly, this feature isn't well thought out at all considering the conditions to get the Coins.
Events give something like 600 coins for the welfare.
