My last post in this thread before disappearing was about a disgustingly good roll. It only makes sense that I return the same way:

60 quartz and 9 tickets, and my first 10roll got me a fucking Primeval Curse…

I know he’s the hardest-hitting Saber in the game, and will remain so for an extremely long time, but honestly, I’ll probably still stick with Arturia. I only wanted him because of my freak Brynhild Summon this past winter. And yes, I’m still f2p. My gacha luck has been completely ludicrous. I keep waiting for the penny to drop. It’ll probably happen over the summer.

Or maybe the game has just realized that I never remember to grind for QP, and is just finding an alternative means of torment?

Uh... I really don't see how he can be the hardest-hitting Saber in the game, considering he has one mediocre steroid and an ultra-narrow anti-trait bonus on his NP. Especially when Musashi and Okita exist.

Sigurd is number 2 in terms of trait damage behind a Servant who has not been released yet. And that Servant has 2 separate traits and only wins number 1 against both at the same time. Chaotic and Evil.

Aside from that Sigurd has the highest Attack stat in the Saber class, tied with Arthur. However Musashi has better damage buffs, Bride has an NP upgrade, Okita has quick NP modifier for the ones released so far. Without trait they all hit harder.

Sigurd is a good unit, but the Sabers we already have are exceptional and he needs some kind of buff to measure up to them I think. When talking about who the best Saber is him and Artoria should be favored in that conversation. Seibah is for AoE Sabers, she does the most damage and is tied for having the best battery. Sigurd is emphatically not.

The problem with that is skills are really important and no one would ever not apply them.

Not even then from my understanding. His damage buff is tied to a skill. Musashi's NP comes with NP damage up that activates first even if you don't use her buster buff. He isn't beating that with just a few attack points extra. Same for Bride, who hits harder at NP1 due to an outright upgrade to it Quick is balanced towards NP, all of them have a higher NP damage than buster or arts to make up for the weaker modifier quick cards receive. So Okita does more than him too.

That's specifically because Bedivere has gotten a NP upgrade. As both of them have NP damage up in their kits, the 250% difference between a NP5 Bedivere and NP4 Musashi is the equivalent of an event damage CE plus an event team damage CE in the backline. Mushashi would make up that damage in buster facecards though, her gorilla deck lets her put out enormous dps with an arts card that can go from 0-100% NP battery in a single crit.

When I say "incredibly narrow", I mean it. There are, including JP, a grand total of 8 Servants with that trait Sigurd can hit super-effectively. And two of them are summer limited units (meaning they practically never show up as bosses outside of their event).

Well, no argument there.

There are not many Servants who have the trait naturally. However dragon is basically the one trait that we have a mechanism to apply to any enemy. Using George isn't an onerous condition, and its even more more rare to have mechanisms to apply trait.

Farmed enough Gems in case I succeed in getting Skadi. Still lacking Auroras so it'll be a while until she gets to 10/10/10. I wonder what I'm gonna pull for the GSSR? I'm rolling the Extra banner since I only have Jalter from that pool, so either Jalter will hit even even harder or I'll get someone new. As long as it's not Holmes.
