Yeah, Alter Ego wasn't made to win, just mostly to break the ice. And I did go back and add relationships to both my entries today.

You also raise a fairly good point about the "complicated" lines. I think I'll go back and comb those over while the contest is still open.

Editting in general got lot more extravagant in the span of one year I think. WhiteFrenzy improved the use of color, font and general aesthetic, Wyvern created his great table formatting style and I pushed what can be done with collapse functions. Realcasually even takes his time and creates proper FGO skill mechanics to make his sheets even cooler. Oh the use of FGO icons is also pretty popular among some, could be that it was WF's doing as well.
The grind never stops who got the best looking sheets, while the classic formats are still alive and doing well, like BnEl's and Royd's.

Also, contest should end in an hour

I don’t think I can vote on this one. There are frankly so many high quality sheets and there is no masterpiece like Freud Id to get my vote.

It certainly did. I even went and changed mine a bit just to try to keep up a bit with the collapse abuse.

Well. I've been reading sheets all night. Even catching up on one I vaguely remembered. I'm glad I did. All of them were wonderful to read and I loved the passion put in... that said I can only pick three. So here are my picks.

    3 points: Amir Khusrau
This was a hard pick. There were two excellent sheets. One short but tons of passion and care put in. One long and story-driven with an equal level of passion. Both are equally deserving to me but ultimately one must be on top and I chose this for one reason and one reason alone; It's concept was very unique to me. I've only ever seen one other animal servant in this forum, and never in the main series. That's not all of course but that was the deciding factor.
Now for the parts I loved about this sheet. The primary artwork for it is solid but then I've always had a love of desert landscapes. Something about the themes associated always are pleasing to me. Then the most unique part of the sheet; the riddles. Each section beyond the basic profile and face claim is hidden behind a riddle. It's honestly such a unique use of the collapse function that I felt it had to be mentioned and praised. Also it features a noble phantasm that while very niche is very well made and absolutely I see it being good. Additionally, I like how functionally it seems that the servant is more built to be a support servant than a blaster servant which is very nice. Overall, it's definitely a servant in my eyes worth this spot.

    2 Points: Nathan Mayer Rothschild
This was the runner up. Shall I begin with the story told? The story of a servant torn by their good will and ultimate truth? It was honestly moving to an extent and clearly written with passion. Then there is the underlying feeling that he's not some financial fatcat scammer but simply the son who wanted to make a name for himself. I love the little subtlties woven into the sheet that make you pay attention throughout. What I most like though is the noble phantasm and what it implies. I simply love how straightforward it is about its intent. The rest of this will be hidden for those that haven't read it yet.
    Spoiler:
I love the Illumanati servant. It's quite literally one of the best written sheets i've read. The sudden shift, the unwarrented yet understandable outbursts and most of all that ending. that. ending.. I think this sheet shows its own quality. Again, it's done nothing to make me not love it. Instead, it's only lower because Amir strung something in me not often strung while this sheet strung a different and in my eyes less significant chord. So either way, good job you two. You made masterpieces to me at least.

    1 Point: Zemia Motokiyo
This sheet like the others is very, very well done. Hidden texts to hide essential truths, a very, very unique noble phantasm that quite literally changes key factors about the servant over time, and a great faceclaim. Quite frankly, I almost considered him above the other two for a time until my rereading of Amir. The only thing holding this back in my eyes? Nothing. Except that for some reason despite its clear passion and investment from its author it didn't string a chord with me... so it lands here.

There you go. I ended up reading a couple several times and these three were always ones I came back to while trying to decide who to vote. Good luck to the rest. I'd say everyones a winner but that's not how it works... so i'll say everyone in my eyes made damn good sheets deserving of coming close to the top spot.

1 Point : Madame Marie Tussaud

I like her, she has an interesting personality, some interesting abilities. It’s a very solid sheet.

    2 Points : Pyotr & Petrolina Tchaikovsky

Okay, I love the idea of splitting his personality. Very cool idea and very cool execution. Reviewing isn’t my forte, but trust me, I really like it.

3 Points : Nathan Mayer Rothschild

That’s not a sheet, that’s a novel. And it was astonishing. I think it might even be my favorite servant on the forum in terms of personality.

    Honorable mentions :
Psammtik I : That's a cool historical figure which I absolutely didn't know about, it was honestly a very interesting read. Definitely some high servant material, and I think you did it justice. Good job.

Mnemosyne : That one is simple, but I like it. It's not something I feel like putting in the top 3 but it was nonetheless enjoyable.

I would normally want to include some form of an honorable mention, but everyone did so well this contest that I would literally have to included almost every sheet. So instead of an honorable mentions, I say to you all: fantastic job.
Now, onto my personal Top 3:

1 Point: Voyager - Ferdinand Coeval by Frigix
This one was a close tie between Ferdinand and Madame Marie Tossaud. I honestly find both sheets quite good and unique, and had a hard time choosing one over the other. In the end though, I decided to go for Ferdinand, he was honestly such an interesting sheet with a good use of a rare class.

2 Points: Trickster - Amir Khusrau by NMR-3
This is honestly such a fun sheet. It takes its idea and runs with it. Altogether it's unique, it's well written, and the skills are well chosen.

3 Points: Lover - Bonnie & Clyde / Pretender - Alcyone & Ceyx by WhiteFrenzy
Like other people, I really enjoy this sheet. I really enjoy Pretender sheets that actually use the class in a way that doesn't feel like Faker 2.0 (since the class isn't supposed to be Faker 2.0). You wrote a really compelling "fake" sheet, so much so that I actually was surprised when it was revealed as a Pretender. Everything about this shows your skill and experience in writing sheets. WhiteFrenzy, you get first place this contest in my book.

3 points: "Bonnie & Clyde" - This sheet speaks for itself to be frank.
2 points: Nathan Mayer Rothschild - Formatting aside, the narrative on this one is top tier
1 points: Lucian of Samosata - I have a soft spot for these type of characters. Plus how could I not give this to the 'Hero of the Moon' himself? It's true! He said so.

    Honorable Mentions:
Phryne: This one pushes all my horny buttons and got my neurons firing. A overall solid sheet on a figure I had no clue about on top of a playfully seductive "ara ara" vibe. A real attack on my monkey brain. Intellectually speaking of course.
Watcher of Memes: As I said prior, I love this concept. Like alot. My main issue to me is that I feels like it doesn't go far enough with it's concept. That aside, A+ sheet.
Pyotr/Petrolina Tchaikovsky: Unfathomably based. That is all.
Jugemo: Puns and dad jokes galore. Genuinely funny. Now get out of my face, you damn animal.

I had a hard time deciding who gets my votes. I dont remember ever having so many candidates for my points.
In the end I went with my gut

    !st Place : WhiteFrenzy's Bonnie & Clyde
Inspiration and she started the recent Pretender surge. I think it is a really smart application of the Pretender Class and checks many points from my own interpretation. She also evolved he sheet to new levels and made the whole sheet a piece of art, exactly what I wished to see in a "meta"-sense.

    2nd Place: pinetree's Zeami Motokiyo
A welcome gift. I really like what you did with the presentation and reveal of their class. It was so ominous and surprising and he presented a piece of reference what this class can truly be. Just like he did with Claude Monet in the Foreigner Class.

    3rd Place: Femma's Rothschild
A well deserved point for Femma. Their knowledge about the topic and their in depth depiction of the personalities was like a light novel. For someone who is new to making Servants, this has to be rewarded.

    The Throne Contenders:
Wyvern: Both are cool Servants and I already love your new Class, but there is still room for growth in the presentation of your ideas.
RoydGolden: Both are really great, with Phryne my favourite. Foreigner has a funny connection, but it did not land for a nerd like me. Still, what you did with him is so wicked and cool.
Drangle: You dont even need my points. Archer is great in concept and duo characters are your expertise, but the politics are too direct here for me.
Morg: Watcher of Memes will be a constant mainstay in anyones Joke Servant relations. A modern classic.
Kamerad: You know whats up. Cool all around.
NMR-3: Khusrau's presentation is exactly what I wanted from someone of his field. The sheet has your typical charm about it. A really pleasant read. Actually pretty engaging when one thinks about it.

Every sheet that was not a Caster or Foreigner. Not to say everyone who went with those classes is creatively bankrupt or anything, but I have to give respect to those who chose to take the unbeaten path.

Bonnie & Clyde. On a pure level, I would say this is the highest quality entry of this month's candidates. Like, uncontested. But I can't vote just on quality, and as lovely as the sheet is, 1. it did not convince me that the class was an appropriate fit for the servant, and more importantly 2. it did not convince me that whatever they were doing was an "Art". This was such a generous, broad prompt, that I cannot in good faith give points to something that bends and stretches it to the furthest degree, as if human history is so barren of interesting artists.

Mr. Rothschild. Is finance an art, or is it a science? It's a really interesting question, and the sheet is probably a firm #4 on my ranking, but just barely got beat for reason that are tricky to put into words. If I had to articulate it, I might say it could use a little more engagement with the prompt, but it's such a fine evergreen sheet as is I wouldn't know where to put it.

    Votes

1 point - Giuseppe Tartini. I swore to myself when the contest began that I would have to give a musical servant a vote, no matter. I just love them inherently. As it happens, I had only one option besides myself, but lucky for both of us, that one option was quite good. Recontextualizing the "Devil" in an anecdote is classic Foreigner writing, and it all stitches together nicely to form the cleanest take on an Erich Zahn themed Foreigner I've yet seen.

2 points - Lucian of Samosata. With the oncoming wave of Pretenders, sometimes what the world needs is some good old fashioned honesty. Adore the implementation. It would have been easy to say "Oh, A True Story really was a true story" but you made it more nuanced than that in a way that really respects the original figure. Plus, I love a Servant with a healthy dose of comedy.

3 points - Marie Tussaud. Let's see. Creative but believable application of a class container. Shining personality. Balanced power set. And to top it all off, an Ace Attorney face claim?! If I knew about this figure before seeing this sheet, I could have made it. No, dreamed of making it, more like. I was waiting most of the month for something to really top this, and many came close, but none quite succeeded.

As the resident contrarian I'll throw objectivity out of the window and throw my votes arbitrarily to ones I personally enjoy.

    3 pts - JJ-GKnSKSn-SMUMFM-KNTnST-Ynb-PPPnS-SnG-GnPnPnCnC
    Excellent first submission.
Cool way to turn a footnote figure to a well made character. The theme of names and onomancy is also something I'm currently fascinated about right now. I am also immensely enjoying the boomer humour, so here you go.

    2 pts - Mnemosyne
    Great last submission.
Has a very strong and enjoyable concept. It's always nice to see someone salvaging the wreck that is TM Greek pantheon. That said, it kinda feels lacking a final punchline of sorts.

1 pt - Bonnie and Clyde
Obligatory vote. Not much else to say that hasnt been said better.

Apologies for taking so long, but hey. Let's get this going.

    I. of votes:

    1 POINT:
    Ferdinand Cheval
    (Frigix)

I said it before and I don't mind repeating myself: there's a dreamy quality about this sheet that dragged me in and didn't let me go until I've finished it. Maybe it's the whimsical nature of the Voyager class? Maybe it's the author's ability with words? Maybe it's something else entirely? I don't even know myself. What I know is that this sheet kept coming back to me as I sat down and wondered about which one of them deserved my votes, so I had to properly honor it with at least one point.

    2 POINTS:
    Pyotr & Petrolina Tchaikovsky
    (Dangle)

Like, for real? If I was voting on a purely biased view (and believe me, I almost did that) this sheet would be the uncontested winner. Even now, I still don't find a single fault on it - I unabashedly want them to win this month's prompt, I swear to God I do and Imma jump like a schoolgirl if asterism announces their proper 1st place on the 31th. But out of a sense of "I need to be logical here, c'mon" they got 2 points. Don't get me wrong though, the first place has a lot of edge and some amazing concepts behind it, but these two? They are the heart of this vote for me. I absolutely adore this sheet, it'll be my to-go Dangle Sheet™ for a long time, I can feel it.

    3 POINTS:
    Zeami Motokiyo
    (pinetree)

Like, WHAT THE HELL WAS THIS SHEET? I was dreading the Last Week™ because we always have some amazing Servants during a prompt's last legs, and then comes pinetree to prove my point. This Servant is nothing short of AMAZING. Every level of it is amazing: creatively? Out of this world. Fitting for the prompt? No words, it was as if this was born to be written during this month. The atmosphere? Impecable. The chosen character? I could never. The build-up for their Class? I gasped for air. This was a masterclass in sheet writing, and as much as I objectively liked the character of the second place way more than Zeami, this beautiful creature still deserves the first place in my podium out of sheer awesomeness. It was that good of a sheet.

    II. of honorable mentions:

    Brokk & Sindri
    (Wyvern)

Giving them an amazing custom-created Class? Balsy move. It paid off big time, because it fits them like a glove. Also, they're so, so good. Their banter was the soul of that sheet and I could read it forever... I swear if we had a 4th place they'd steal it, no questions asked.

    Marie-Jeanne Rose Bertin
    (Spammin Spiff)

SHE'S SO CUTE WHY IS SHE SO CUTE SO WHOLESOME? As you can see, she hit me in the feels and therefore she deserved a spot in my honorable mentions.

A creative idea, an amazing execution and even fitting for the Spook Month? Of course such a creative endeavour could only come from our god and savior El. She's a perfect example of your mastery in your craft, an all-around amazing Servant.

    Nathan Mayer Rothschild
    (Femma)

LIKE, HOLY SHIT? HE WAS SO CLOSE TO GET MY VOTES, LIKE, SO FRIGGIN' CLOSE. Alas, this was a class in Economics and in creative writing, and it left me reeling after finishing his sheet, but the punch could have been stronger. Even then, I hope you don't think for a moment that I'm not opening my mouth in surprise here because I still am. FEMMA. THIS WAS SO GOOD. THIS MAN'S A BEAST, YOU'RE A BEAST.

Imagine you having such a complicated name that NO ONE in this thread got it right? I cackled every time someone wrote "Jugemo" and I swear I could see the veins poppin' in this old man's temple. When you wrote that reply saying that it was indeed the case? WF is dead.

I'M HORNY AND SHE'S MOMMY AND IN THIS COLD, CRUEL WORLD WE FOUND EACH OTHER. THE END.

    III. of further honorable mentions:

    Dorian Gray
    (realcasually)

I wanted to mention him in my honorable mentions, but with each and each entry it was becoming incresingly clear that the quality this month was brutal. He's still an amazing creation from you, but hoo man. Brutal month.

Zhongli FC? Count me in. That's it, that's my review of him I refuse to elaborate further.

    Watcher of Memes
    (Morg van Destro)

There was so much that it could be done with him that it almost felt like you were holding back. I still like him, and I still think you have that OOMPH that captivated us all, but as I said before... This month was brutal.
