Tru dat, Not!Castor and Not!Pollux don't really seem to have held up in comparison but looking over Shinjuku again has given me an idea I may need to put a fair bit of magic into.

    -EDIT-

Looking over the entree, it wasn't close enough to the original premise of Phantoms to I deleted it and reposted it in the regular CaS thread

    Class: Archer

True Name: Anna Ioannovna The Snow Queen
    Alignment: Lawful Evil
    Origin: Historical
    Region: Russia

    STR: E
    END: E

    NP: A+

    Height/Weight:162 cm/49 Kg

    Dislikes: Summer, Being Ordered
Talent: Imprisoning People in Ice Palace
    Natural Enemy:
    Attribute: Man
    Traits: Human, Female
Armaments: A white rifle of an indefinate model with snow motifs graved on the handle. Tough it is beautiful appearance, one cannot help but feel a sense of unease when looking at it.
Catalyst: A manuscrit written by Hans Christian Andersen

    Class skills:

    Magic Resistance:
    (B-)
Measures one's capability in defending against attacks or weapons containing magical properties. It is a different skill from resisting magical energy, as it cancels spells all-together. At this rank, spells of B-rank and below are cancelled. Even High Taumthurgy has a hard time affecting her.
Tough she is a completely fictional creation, the snow queen was still in the context of the novel a powerful Elemental presiding over the winter. As such, Archer is in her own word: "far above any so-called mage". However, due to the fact that her minions were defeated by the forces of the heaven, this protection is less effective again the sacrements of the church.

    Independant Action: (A)
The ability to remain independent even when rejecting the Magical Energy supply from one's Master. At higher ranks, it is also possible to remain for extended periods of time in this world without an established contract. . At this rank, it is possible for a Servant to stay in the world for about a week without a Master. However, to use Noble Phantasms , backup from the Master is necessary.
A queen's role is to rule over her people, watching them alone up from her castle. As such, it is absurd to think she would need to rely on one of these lowly peasant. Much like she refuted the Council's attempt to control her, she may even choose to rebel against a master that wouldn't give her the respect she feel she is due.

    Personal skills:

    Marksmanship:
    (B)
A Skill representing all-round shooting techniques, which includes quick drawing and trick shooting by means of small arms. At this rank, a small target can be hitten from a balcony at the top of an immense palace.
In life, one of Archer's favorite hobbies was to hunt birds from her room. Even tough she was pretty good, it's not like she accomplished any spectacular action related to it, and thus she would normally have a low ranking. It seems that it is due to a certain author's Noble Phantasm that she has "reached her full potential as a hunter". Indeed, this external modification seems to be the reason for her being summoned as a archer instead of the seemingly more fitting Caster class.

    Snedronningen: Queen of All Snowflakes:
    (A)
A skill that grant a ersatz Divine Authority over ice and snow to the holder. In the novel, the snow queen was the ruler over all snowflakes, a being on the level of a goddess. Truly, it is a testament to Andersen's skill as a writer that such a close imitation of Divine Authority has been made. She gained complete control over all snowflakes, allowing her among other uses to uses them to either create magical items inbued with the essence of winter, infuse her attacks with cold energy or even make them form bees made of snow. In other words, she gain Item Construction, Prana Burst (Cold) and Familliars (Snow Bees) at rank B. Plus, it naturally grant her Protection Against Cold at A-rank.
But still, a near-perfect imitation is still an imitation, and it is likely she would lose all those powers if she were to confront a true winter deity. It is sad to say, but in this case, an imitation could never beat the original.

    Blood Aurora:
    (B)
On the night that Archer tore up the conditions that would limit her rule and assumed the role of an absolute monarch, an Aurora Borealis appeared in the sky. According to popular opinion, the sky "appearing all blood" was an omen of her tyrannical rule over Russia. This skill is both a representation of this and of Archer's rule over her empire. She did not led trough her charisma and force of character, nor was she a beautiful queen adored by the people. Rather, she asserted by force her own philosophy that insisted that "peasants should fear and cater to their betters". It manifest as an eerie red aura around her that instore a particular feeling to those who sees it by means of mental interference. Namely, that they are her inferior and should behave like see. In that state, it would require a strong to disobey Archer's order or even to strike her. Even those who manage to gather the willpower will recieve a penalty to their attack. However, since it represent a tyrannical queen's abuse of power, it is resisted by skill such that oppose authority as Nature of a Rebellious Spirit.

    Kiss of Oblivion: (A)
The kiss of the snow queen that carry magic powers. It is the same that she used on Kai, the boy that she
    kidnapped
    adopted
. It has three powers that depend on the numbers of time she kisses a certain subject. The first kiss is a boon that grant the Protection against Cold skill at A-rank to the chosen, effectively making them immune to any hazard caused by her power. For this reason, it is highly likely that her first order of action upon being summoned would be to kiss her master. The second kiss, by contrast, is a curse of oblivion. A check against a mental attack is required. If failed, the target will lose all memories related to their identities. They'll forget their acquaintance, their desire and even their name. The third kiss, the one that she never used in the novel in fear of it's power, is an instant kill effect. Unless a Luck check is passed, the victim will instantly disolve into snowflakes. While this ability is very powerful, it requires her to be able to touch a foe, wich is not an easy feat considering her subpar physical parameters.

    Noble Phantasm(s)

    Djævelens Spejl
Distorted Truth that Freeze the Heart

    Rank: B
    Type: Anti-Unit
    Range: 1-40
    Max. Target: 1

Once upon a time, the devil created a magic mirror. This mirror would only reflect the ugly aspects of things, thus making a mockery of God's creation. It tried to lift to the heavens so he could mock the angels that resided here, but the mirror shaked too violently from its own laughter and fell on Earth. It broke into countless fragments that fell into the eyes of humans. Individuals that were striken would be able to only see ugly things and thus would have their heart turn into ice. Thus begin the tale of the Snow Queen. Tough she didn't use the mirror herself, the association it has to her story and the fact that she was irregularly summoned in the Archer class has given her a modified version.

The shape of the mirror has been forcibly changed into that of a rifle, allowing Archer to give her bullets the property of its shard by calling upon its true name. These special bullets will automically seek to hit the eyes of the target. While Archer still need to make sure the bullets actually hit the target, the projectiles will have a much higher chance of hitting the eyes than any other parts of the body. Upon the eyes being hit, the victim is not harmed, but the bullet will enter their body. It will then distort their view of the world, making them sees all things as horribly ugly and flawed horrors. To the afflicted person, even the most beautiful treasures from the Gate of Babylon will seem to be nothing but a pile of worthless garbage.

Yet that is not the only effect of this terrible Noble Phantasm. Indeed, the bullet will also figurately "freeze the heart" of the victim. It distort their memories, their desire and even their own self, leaving them as worthless husk who sees nothing beautiful in the world or even in their mind. They'll become and more apathetic untill they lose all desire to live. In the case of servants and other such spiritual beings, they may even fade away on their own, having lost all atachment to the world. Furthermore, even protection against mental interference can only slow down the process and there are only ways to stop it completely. Either Archer must be killed or the victim must be shown of a great act of pure love. The exact nature of the act matters not, only that it is a proof that someone love them more than anything else in the world.

    Iedyanoy Dom
    Kingdom of Ice and Snow

    Rank: A+
    Type: Anti-Army
    Range: 1-99
    Max. Target: 300

In the cold winter of 1739, Russia won over the Ottomans after a four-years war. To celebrate this, empress Anna decided to order the construction of a very special building. It was an palace made of ice, the very first of its kind. It was an absolutely beautiful sight that filled the eyes of those who saw it with wonder. Yet it also had a much more sinister purpose. She seeked to punish a prince who dared to marry a catholic woman. After the death of his wife, she forced him to marry an incredibly woman and held for them a deliberately ridiculous wedding in the ice palace. After that, she forced them to pass their honeymoon in the freezing building, almost killing them.

If she were to be summoned normally, this Noble Phantasm would simply take the form an icy prison that would manifest around her enemies. However, the addition of the Snow Queen has both upgraded and radically modified its nature. It has not only been conflated with the fictional queen's own ice palace but also has become part of her
    Reality Marble
    "common sense of the queen"
, the manifestation of the soul of a cruel queen with an heart of ice.

As in the tale, the fonction of the palace was not that of a prison but that of a new home for her ward, it seems that the nature of "a place filled with deadly cold" has been lifted from the palace to be applied to the world around it. Upon activation, the affected area will become unnaturaly cold to a degree shown only by the deadliest winds of the artic. Weaker beings have almost no chance to stand such conditions for long before perishing, and even those who survive will find their bodies numbed, taking a penalty to their Agility. Furthermore, Phantasmal Beasts entirely made of ice, based on the statues that decorated the real-life palace and inhabited by the snowflake spirits that serve the Snow Queen, roam the frozen land. They are rather strong especially to weakened servants but are thankfully weak to sacrements of the church, fitting their depiction in the novel. Ironically, the only safe place in this hell of ice is the Palace in the center, the very one which would normally be a deadly prison. It is the place where she lives with the children she took under her wing, so it would not do for it to be inhospitable. Plus, the top of it carry an really convenient spot for her to snipe her foes.

    Lore
Anna Ioannovn was an empress of Russia that rule from 1730 to 1740. Niece of its previous ruled Peter the Great, she was instaured by the Supreme Privy Council that instaured limitations to her, confident that they could control her. Instead, she disolved council and their conditions with the support of nobles who were opposed to the famillies that were forming it. She thus gave herself back full sovereign power.

Tough she performed quite a few accomplishments in her rule, she is mostly remembered for her eccentricities, such as hunting bird from her balcony, and her cruelties, as can be seen in the incident of the Ice Palace. Said palace is probably her most famous accomplishment, being the first of its kind and the basis for one of the first russian historical novels The Ice House. As the one who ordered its construction, it has allowed for her ascension to the statut of a Heroic Spirit. Tough even then, she'd be a pitiful excuse for a servant if she were to be summoned as a servant.

The solution to this problem came in a most unusual form. That is, the famous author known as Hans Christian Andersen who had himself been summoned as a Caster in the Grand Order conflict,. That day, he was reading a copy of The Ice House that was contained in a Chaldea library. Amused by her similarity to The Snow Queen, one of his creations, and at the same time appreciating her force of personality, he was struck by a flash of inspiration. He then started writing a truly marvelous tale that combined the two persons wich would be sure to bring future generations to tear. In fact, it was so marvelous that I couldn't possibly do it enough justice, so I won't even do a summary.

Yes, it was so marvelous that something that would normally seem impossible happened. Due to a freak incident involving Andersen's Noble Phantasm and a Grail resonating with his soul, a truly weird summoning hapenned. The being called upon was a combination of Anna's record on the Throne of Heroes and the phantom of the Snow Queen, who couldn't have ascended as a purely fictionial character. Due to their great compatibility and the power of Andersen's Noble Phantasm, the servant Archer thus boast a high power despite her nature.

    Personality

A tyraniccal ice queen who only listen to her whims, Archer is truly a difficult servant to handle. She hates being told what to do or being limited in anyway, so one has to be careful in their dealing with her. Furthermore, she is very scatter-brained, all too willing to lose intersest in something to go hunt birds or punish whatever peasants dared to disrespect her. Her punishment are most of the time realy extreme and may include for exemple freezing the "precious parts" of a dog that produced an excrement that she happened to step unto. Truly, she is a pain to almost everyone around her.

The sole expection to this are young boys. From
    Ko-Gil
    little children
    to
    Alexander
    young-looking teenagers
, Archer become absurdly mothering when seeing one that she find cute. She will try to please them however they want, buying them toys, teaching them new game to play or even assassinate their enemies. The ideal master for her would thus be a young male. Or at least it would be if she didn't have this unfortunate habits to "adopt" any child that strike her fancy and keep them in her castle, whatever the costs or lives she has to ruin for it. Even in this, she's a pain. It seems that they only need to look like boys, as even her creator is not safe from this overbearing affection. Thus, she cannot forgive anyone who harm children and reserve her most serious punishments for such scum.

    Creator Notes

And she's here. At first, I wrote her as a caster, but I realised I put too much focus on her rifle and so I changed to Archer early on. To be honest, I'm a little worried she may be too wanked.

I think you mean 1730 to 1740, cause there was no Russian monarchy after 1918.

    Attribute: Man

    Skills
    Class Skills

    Presence Concealment: (D)
The capacity of hiding one’s presence as a Servant. Hides one's presence as a Servant. Suitable for spying. A low and fitting rank for a Servant who never committed any act of assassination. This skill is more suitable when observing targets from a distance, a supervisor who makes sure his prisoners are behaving when no one is looking.

    Personal Skills

Total Lockdown of the State: (A)
The capacity of a Servant to mark a region as his personal containment center by securing the surrounding leylines prior to an engagement. It is not a skill to protect a territory from enemies, but rather to confine them and prevent them from leaving.

Assassin’s ability emits a pressure of restraint onto others in his territory, reducing the overall combat prowess of all enemies, and his Noble Phantasm may only be deployed within the marked region.

    Warden: (A++)
A skill that increases damage towards those who are criminals. Also, a Servant will also become a target if his/her actions are regarded as illegal or express criminal behavior.

As a warden of the most fearsome and notorious prison in the world, it is his duty to supervise all the operations in their prison. Assassin specializes in dealing with personnel, financing, securing the safety of the public, and handling the prison that contains the most ruthless criminals in America. He is responsible for housing, feeding, and clothing prisoners, and provide services like health care, access to education, psychiatric care, and opportunities to engage in rehabilitation and reentry programs. In situations such as prison gang violence or dealing with criminals with controversial backgrounds looking to cause some problems, Assassin knows exactly what to do to handle the situation.

    Torture Techniques: (D++)
A skill that represents one's possession of outstanding torture techniques. Plus modifiers are added when using torture tools to deal damage. Because it strengthens bloodshed and agony, further damage is continuously added after the ordinary damage. Naturally, the plus modifiers further increase when dealing damage towards criminals. This skill ranks-up when he is within the domain of his Noble Phantasm.

Although he insists his techniques are for disciplinary purposes, the pain inflicted is more psychological and insanity inducing than it is physical. Even the toughest and most ruthless prisoners complain how brutal and inhumane conditions which severely tested their sanity. It was so mind crushing, some prisoners even committed suicide, and one person chopped of his own fingers with an axe just to make the pain go away. Another anecdote was when a prisoner, after being subjected to a “cruel and unusual punishment”, brutally murdered a fellow inmate in a fit of madness.

    Noble Phantasm

    Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary
    Maximum Security Prison
    Type: Fortress
    Rank: A
    Range: 1~100
    Maximum Targets: 1~??? people

It is the United States Penitentiary, the maximum-security federal prison on Alcatraz Island believed to be the strongest, escape-proof prison in America. It was designed to hold the most ruthless criminals in America who caused trouble for other federal prisons including Al Capone, Robert Franklin Stroud, George “Machine Gun” Kelly, and so forth. As a Noble Phantasm, it is a fortress given form and reproduced through magical energy with a method similar to Reality Marbles. Differing from Reality Marbles, the prison can persist for long periods because it was built on top of the current World.

Once activated after securing leylines through the Total Lockdown of the State skill, it recreates the invincible and inescapable Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary in which all foes are further weakened while Assassin simultaneously gains boost to all parameters. Within its confines, he gains a certain level of authority as “the warden of the most notorious and fearsome prison in the world”. His orders compel his “prisoners” to obey and do what they are told. Disobeying his orders forces to undergo discipline, experience mental-pressure that acts as a form of psychological torture. In addition, Assassin gains a complete awareness over his domain, knowing where the “prisoners” are located, and can freely and quickly move around his territory with ease.

The prison is practically indestructible, requiring a high ranking Anti-Fortress Noble Phantasm to destroy, and even then, it must be done from the outside, as the stat reduction would lower its proficiency as well as the possibility of falling debris of the prison crushing on top of them. Due to Assassin’s awareness and authority, it would be nigh-impossible to escape. No one has ever escaped Alcatraz. At least alive that is.

    Techniques

    The Hole
    No Escape from Hellcatraz
    Type: Anti-Unit
    Rank: A

A special skill used by Assassin in Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary. It is a desperation move that he only uses when certain conditions are met. It is a form of punishment used against only the worst of the worst. The reasoning behind these conditions is simply because of Assassin’s honor and duty as a prison warden to maintain stability and security. Criminals who step out of line face varying degrees of punishment; Isolation, Solitary, and Strip.

When activated, a gaping hole appears under the target. Should they fall into it, they become trapped within a void beyond time and space. Within the void there is nothing. No people. No sound. No light. No escape. No hope. Complete isolation from the outside world. This sense of loneliness slowly drives the victim insane, causing them to descend into madness. Seconds feel like minutes and minutes feel like hours. In reality, the punishment is only temporary. After a couple of turns, the victim is automatically spout out in the same location they entered. The duration of the punishment is equivalent to how much crimes they have committed. So, in essence, it would not be wrong to considered this as an Anti-Evil technique.

    Lore

James A. Johnston was the first warden of Alcatraz. The former Warden of Folsom and San Quentin, it was Johnston who was instrumental in the development of the Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary as a prison and was involved in the design of it as a federal prison in 1934. He was a highly strict disciplinarian and a devout reformist who imposed several rules upon the prison including a strict code of silence, which led to him being nicknamed the 'Golden Rule Warden' from his San Quentin days. However, he was relatively popular among inmates and guards, known as "Old Saltwater" to the inmates, and is credited with challenging the barbaric tactics used in the prison when he was there, including strait jackets and solitary confinement in darkness and working towards the general improvement of the lives of prisoners.

Edwin Burnham Swope was the second warden of Alcatraz. His earlier posts as warden included New Mexico State Prison and Washington State's McNeil Island Federal Penitentiary. He was a strict disciplinarian but unlike his predecessor was considered the most unpopular warden of Alcatraz with his officers and the inmates.

Paul Joseph Madigan was the third warden of Alcatraz. He had earlier served as the last Associate Warden during the term of James A. Johnston. He has been cited as the only warden who had worked his way up from the bottom of the ranks of the prison staff hierarchy, having worked originally as a Correctional Officer on Alcatraz from the 1930s. In May 21, 1941, Madigan was the key to quashing an escape attempt after being held hostage in the Model Industries Building, which later led to his promotion as associate warden. Unlike his predecessors, Madigan was known for being more lenient and softer in his approach to administering the prison and was better liked by the prison staff.

Olin Guy Blackwell was the fourth and final warden of Alcatraz. Associate Warden to Paul J. Madigan from April 1959, Blackwell served as warden of Alcatraz at its most difficult time from 1961 to 1963 when it was facing closure as a decaying prison with financing problems, coinciding with the timing of the infamous June 1962 escape from Alcatraz. Blackwell was considered to have been the least strict warden of Alcatraz, perhaps in part due to him having been a heavy drinker and smoker, nicknamed "Gypsy" and known as "Blackie" to his friends. He was said to have been an excellent marksman who had earlier served as Associate Warden of Lewisburg Federal Penitentiary.

At normal circumstances, neither one of these four wardens could be summoned as a standalone Servant, being mere phantoms. Through the fusion of all four wardens, they combined into one body to form an entity known as Alcatraz, representing their roles as wardens of the prison of the same name.

    Personality

Cold and cruel, Alcatraz values his job as a warden above all else. He carries himself in a stoic and dignified manner, emitting a presence of superiority and pressure around he goes. His voice is almost emotionless and monotonic, yet carries a strange kind of weight that is hard to defy in fear of what may happen otherwise.

As a prison warden, he is not afraid to do whatever he needs to disciple criminals, even if it means to torture or starve them. Though his methods are cruel, his intentions are pure…or so he claims. Punishment to him is merely a tool to rehabilitate others and teach them to follow the law for the safety of the public. Should a prisoner behave themselves, Alcatraz would attempt to be “nicer” to them in form of less punishments, more food, and all around better quality of life.

Master, do you mind if I call you "my child" from now on?

    Kunti2

    Class : Assassin
    Identity : Kunti
Origin : Indian Mythology, Malay Folktales
    Alignment : Lawful Neutral

Kunti was one of the main character in Mahabharata. Her birth name was Pritha. She was the wife of Pandu and the mother of the Pandavas (Yudhishthira, Bhima, Arjuna, Nakula and Sahadeva) and Karna.

Due to some tamperings with her summoning ritual, the Heroic Spirit Kunti has been fused with a Phantom, also known as Kunti, however this Phantom is better known as Kuntilanak or Pontianak, a vampiric ghost from Indonesian Folklore, said to be the spirit of women who died whilst on pregnancy.

Because of the unique similarity between the Heroic Spirit Kunti and the Phantom Kunti, the fusion resulted in a condition where their abilities and even personality merged almost perfectly, resulting in an entity that at times would be a loving and intelligent mother that the Heroic Spirit Kunti was and at other times an unpredictably creepy vampire and overprotective mother that the Phantom Kunti was.

    Lore
Kunti was the sister of Vasudeva, father of Krishna. Her original name was Pritha, and she and Vasudeva were the children of the Yadava Shurasena. Shurasena’s sister’s son was Kuntibhoja, who was childless. Dhurasena had promised to give his eldest daughter to Kuntibhoja. Thus Pridha was given to Kuntibhoja, and came to be known as Kunti, as per Mahabharata Adiparva Chapter 111.

According to Mahabharata Adiparva Chapter 67 verse 160, Kunti, Madri and Gandhari were born of the body parts of the devastris Siddhi, Kriti and Mati respectively.

The young Kunti was assigned the task of looking after the sages who visited Shurasena. Durvasa once visited Kuntibhoja and knowing that the sage had a bad temper, the king asked Kunti to serve him well. Once, to test Kunti, Durvasa told her that he was about to go for a bath and wanted his lunch ready by the time he got back. He then stepped out and went back in a few moments. Kunti somehow managed to ready the lunch, but it was piping hot. Durvasa wanted to check how hot it was by keeping the vessel on Kunti’s bare back. Though the vessel was indeed hot, she did not flinch. The sage was pleased and taught her a mantra which she could use 5 times, and blessed that whichever deva she prayed to using the mantra would become the father of her child, as per Kathasaritasagara Lavanakalambaka Taranga 2 and Bhashabharata Adiparva Chapter 111.

Kunti wanted to test the mantra and invoked Surya. Immediately, Surya appeared there as a brahmina human form descended from Surya. Though she was afraid of becoming a mother before marriage, he calmed her and said that she would not lose her virginity even though she would become a mother. As per Mahabharata Vanaparva Chapter 307 verse 17, Kunti asked for a son who would be born with an armour and earrings. Except for Kunti’s foster mother, no one knew this. In time, she gave birth to a boy. With her foster mother’s help, Kunti floated the baby away in a trunk on the Yamuna river. Suta, a charioteer by profession and a supporter of the Kauravas came to the river for a bath and found the baby. He took it home, to his wife Radha and they became the child’s foster parents. They named him Vasushena, as per Mahabharata Aranyaparva Chapter 302, and he became famous later as Karna, as per Mahabharata Vanaparva Chapters 305-309, and Adiparva Chapter 111.

When Kunti came of marriageable age, Kuntibhoja conducted a swayamwar. She chose Pabdu, the chandravanshi king, and moved to his kingdom in Hastinapura, as per Mahabharata Adiparva Chapter 112.

Pandu later married another princess named Madri. They lived happily, until one day Pandu decided to go for a hunt. There, he accidentally killed a sage named Kindama who was copulating with his wife in the form of a deer. He cursed Pandu and said that if the king ever attempted intercourse with his wife, he would die. Pandu informed his wives and decided to take up sanyasa. Both Kunti and Madri threatened to commit suicide if he went ahead. Finally, Pandu and his wives started meditating in Shatashringa. After a while, Pandu asked his wives to produce sons from important personages. But his wives didn’t agree. Then, Kunti remembered the mantras that Durvasa had given her, and informed Pandu about it. After Pandu’s approval, she invoked Dharma, Vayu and Indra and thus were born Yudhishtira (Dharmaputra), Bhima and Arjuna. Since the 4th and 5th children were considered inauspicious for their parents, Kunti settled for three children as per Mahabharata Adiparva Chapter 122 verses 77, 78. Pandu desired that the remaining mantra be used by Madri. She invoked the Ashwinis and thus were born Nakula and Sahadeva.

Once, during spring, Pandu forgot about his curse, and started mating with Madri. He died on the spot, and both the wives prepared to jump into his pyre. But their relatives and the sages advised that one remain alive to look after the children. Madri chose to die and Kunti returned to hastinapura with the 5 children, called Pandavas as per Mahabharata Adiparva Chapter 125.

The Pandavas had many differences with their cousins, the Kauravas in Hastinapura. Kunti and the Pandavas moved to a house in Varanavat. The Kauravas had made it out of lac and burned it down. But Kunti and the Pandavas escaped through a tunnel made earlier. Bhima carried the tired Kunti on his shoulder as they traveled through the forests. A rakshasi named Hidimbi wanted Bhima to marry her. Kunti gave her assent, and to Bhima and Hidimbi was born Ghatotkacha. Vyasa consoled Kunti in the town of Ekachakra. The brahmins there also told Kunti about the problems they faced from Bakasura. Kunti got Bhima to kill Bakasura and asked the brahmins to keep it a secret. On the advice of another brahmin who arrived there, Kunti and the Pandavas proceeded to Panchala. The Pandavas attended Draupadi’s swayamwar there, and Arjuna defeated every other suitor to marry Draupadi. On reaching home, Kunti, who did not know the context, asked the brothers to share whatever they’d got. Thus Draupadi became a wife to all the Pandavas. Vidura presented many valuable gems to Kunti at Drupada’s palace. They discussed all that had happened so far and Vidura took them back to Hastinapura. Arjuna had to go on exile for a year. During that time, he married Subhadra and brought her to Hastinapura. Kunti accepted her.

Yudhishtira lost a game of dice to Duryodhana, the eldest Kaurava, and had to go into exile. Kunti stayed with Vidura. Krishna visited her once and Kunti lamented about her woes. After the exile, Duryodhana refused to give half the kingdom back to the Pandavas. Krishna encouraged the Pandavas to go to war (all this) as per Mahabharata Adiparva Chapter 135 onwards, Sabhaparva, Vanaparva, Udyogaparva until Chapter 137.

As the war became inevitable, Kunti got restless when Vidura warned about the consequences. She went to the banks of the Ganga to see Karna. he happened to be praying, looking to the east, hands raised. She stood in his shadow, and when he saw her, they began conversing. Kunti revealed that she was his mother and asked him to join the Pandavas. Karna replied that it wasn’t possible and that he had sworn to kill Arjuna. But he promised that he would spare the other 4 Pandavas, so Kunti would still have 5 children, whether Arjuna or Karna survived. A disappointed Kunti left as per Mahabharata Udyogaparva Chapters 145-146.

The war ended with heavy casualties on both sides. The Pandavas were victorious but unhappy. Kunti asked them to carry out the last rites for Karna too, and revealed that Karna was her first born. Yudhishtira was heartbroken on hearing this. later Kunti consoled Subhadra and Uttara, who were mourning the death of Abhimanyu. She then asked Krishna to cremate Uttara’s dead son. She then consoled Gandhari. Later when Gandhari and Dhritarashtra decided to leave for the forests, Kunti decided to go with them. The Pandavas tried to stop her, but she was unrelenting. She advised Yudhishtira to take special care of Sahadeva, not to forget Karna, and to be patient to Draupadi and Bhima. The Pandavas then decided to follow her to the forest, along with Draupadi and Subhadra. Dhritarashtra and Gandhari were saddened by this and asked Kunti to go back to Hastinapura. But she managed to send back the Pandavas and proceeded to the forest. The three of them began living on the banks of the Ganga. The Pandavas visited them and Yudhishtira and Sahadeva expressed a desire to stay there. Kunti refused them, and along with Gandhari and Dhritarashtra, began meditating. They ate only once a month. Later, they were all killed in a forest fire as per Mahabharata Ashramavasikaparva Chapter 37 verse 31. Their last rites were performed on the Ganga as per Mahabharata Sriparva, Shantiparva, Ashramavasikaparva, Ashwamedhikaparva. Kunti, Madri and Pandu earned swargaloka as per Mahabharata Swargarohanaparva Chapter 5 verse 15.

Indonesian folklore features a wide variety of tales about animist ghosts and spirits. The so-called Kuntilanak (or Pontianak, or simply Kunti) is perhaps the most notorious of all. This mythical creature finds its origin in ancient Malay mythology, which describes the kuntilanak as a frightening female ghost. According to the traditional Indonesian animist belief system, the kuntilanakghost is that of a woman who died whilst pregnant. A similar suggestion can be found in its alternative name pontianak, which is derived from pon (‘puan’, short for perempuan, meaning ‘a woman’), ti(short for mati, i.e. death’), anak(‘child’). Particular dwelling places of this kind of nature spirits are swamps, forests, banyan trees and banana trees.

Legend has it, that Syarif Abdurrahman Alkadrie (1771–1808), the first sultan of the Pontianak Sultanate, supposedly reported he was haunted by a vengeful pontianak. The Pontianak Sultanate was built on the swamps along the west coast of Kalimantan. In Southeast Asian cultures, swamps are considered eerie places where nature spirits dwell. In spite of the local inhabitants’ advice to establish the sultanate elsewhere, the sultan remained indifferent towards the animist beliefs of the indigenous population of Kalimantan – the Dayak people. And thus, Syarif Abdurrahman Alkadrie fell victim to the pontianak. Due to this horrifying event the city was named Pontianak.

A kuntilanak or pontianak has the typical appearance of a ghost (e.g. a spiritual entity dressed in white). The female spirit’s face is covered by its long dark hair. However, it is also said, that a kuntilanak is able to transform in to an attractive lady. Though in fact the kuntilanak is a ghostly spirit, yet it can appear as if it is a real human being. Its human appearance is mainly characterized by female beauty. With its female physical attractiveness the kuntilanak attempts to seduce men. The reasons as to why the kuntilanak is after men remains a topic of debate. It is suggested, that in response to a violent death, the woman’s spirit is fueled by a burning desire for revenge against members of the opposite sex (i.e., men). In this way, then, a kuntilanak initiates retaliation on men because of the grievance of being unable to give birth to the child.

When the kuntilanak unveils its demonic nature it appears as a terrifying creature indeed. With its hands featuring unusually long, sharp nails the kuntilanak devours the body of its victim. In a desperate search for the unborn baby, the female ghost thus preys upon the male’s organs voraciously. Though the kuntilanak will only turn into a harmful ghost when the coffin nail is removed from the back of its neck or tip of the head, otherwise its appearance will remain like that of a most charming woman.

Since the kuntilanak generally is considered to be the ghost of a deceased person, it therefore makes sense that the spirit remains in a state of chaos and confusion after it died a violent death. Failure to recognize, understand, and accept its death caused the spirit to get stuck between this world and the next. Being trapped in an intermediate realm, the kuntilanak thus accumulates unwholesome karma through committing evil deeds. This accumulation of bad karma prevents the wandering spirit to pass on to the next life where it awaits a more fortunate rebirth. For this reason, dukuns or mystics often like to help these spirits accumulate merit and virtue so that they can proceed to the next life. Thus, when a violent death of a pregnant female has been reported, the next of kin often call a dukun for help in order to prevent the spirit of the deceased person turning into a kuntilanak.

    PERSONALITY
Assassin is an intelligent, patient and caring woman. She is a woman that can get along well with anyone, even if they're someone with some mentality problems. Towards her Master--or pretty much everone else, she will treat them like her own children, feeling some sort of responsibily towards their actions and will try to guide their behaviors for their own sake.

However, when someone tries to hurt her childrens, or when her childrens manages to piss her off enough, Assassin will become really dangerous. Not even someone Arjuna or Bhima were able to withstood her wrath. Once she has demanded something, one must--at any cost--obey her, or face the holy wrath of a pissed off mother.

"My child... did you said "no" just now?"

She did not have any particular wish for the grail. She only anwered the grail's call hoping that one day, she would finally be able to see her childrens once more. Should she somehow managed to claim the grail, however, she only wishes that she could witness her family be united.

"No more dramas, no more conspiracies... I just want to see my family united..."

    Likes : Her childrens, Krishna.
Dislikes : When her childrens are fighting, misunderstanding.
Talents : Raising childrens, flattering others.
Natural Enemies : Cruel Mothers, Wicked Childrens.

    PARAMETERS
    STR : E (C)
    END : E (C)
    AGI : C (B)
    MGI : C
    LCK : B
    NP : EX

    CLASS SKILLS
    Presence Concealment : E (A)
A Skill which denotes the capacity to hide one's presence as a Servant. Because it's overshadowed by her Espionage Skill, Assassin has an abysmal rank on this Skill despite being an Assassin. However, in the vampiric form of the Phantom fused with Assassin, this Skill will significantly increased into A rank.

    PERSONAL SKILLS
    Divinity : C (E-)
A Skill which represents the measure of whether one has Divine Spirit aptitude or not. At high levels, one is treated as a mixed race of a Divine Spirit, and the level declines when the Heroic Spirit's own rank as a Monster or Demonic Beast raises. Though she does not have a divine ancestry, Assassin possess this skill because of several reasons. She was said to be born from the body part of the devastri Siddhi. She possess a certain mantra that allows for a divine filiation, which allowed her to be the mother of many demi-god heroes, such as Karna and Arjuna. She was also the aunt of Krishna, one of the most revered god in Hindu. However, in the vampiric form of the Phantom fused with her, Assassin's Divinity will be reduced accordingly due to the Phantom's demonic nature.

    Espionage : B++ (-)
A Skill which does not conceal one’s presence, but rather makes one's presence fail to register as hostile. This Skill causes others to misunderstand one's status, including mistaking one for a kind neighbor, a harmless pebble, or as the most beloved person. At this rank, it is extremely difficult to discern any hostility from Assassin. However, the instant Assassin launches an attack, this skill lose its effect. Because of the good compability between Assassin's own talent, her other Personal Skill (Divine Protection of Krishna) and the Phantom's ability, this skill receives a plus parameter.

Assassin has an innate talent where she can approach and please anyone no matter how quick-tempered or hostile they are. It is how she was able to comfort and please the Rishi Durvasa, known for his uncontrollable anger, which motivated the powerful sage to teach her a certain mantra of divine filiation. This talent, combined with the Phantom's unique ability, has manifested as this Skill. However, in Assassin's deemonic form toggled by her Noble Phantasm, this Skill will be sealed.

"All childrens are born with different traits. Of course, it is also the responsibility of all parents to make sure their good traits be properly shown, while their... less pleasant traits be handled with care."

Divine Protection of Krishna : B
A Skill which represents a divine protection received from Lord Krishna, the God of Tenderness, Compassion, Love and Beauty and also one of the Supreme God in Hindu. It functions similarly to B-ranked Magic Resistance and grants protection against mental interferences with a successful LCK check. It also generates an aura which gradually erodes away hostility from anyone in the radius of 50 meters. Being one of the closest relative of Krishna, Assassin has always receiced his blessings.

    Hero Creation: EX
A Skill that represent the techniques to both naturally and artificially give birth and raise heroes. A Skill she obtained for giving birth and raising many great heroes in Mahabharata, including Karna, Arjuna, Bhima and Yudishtira, Assassin was indeed a great hero maker. This Skill is essential for the maximum utilization of her Noble Phantasm. It also can be used to unlock the full potential of allies, allowing her motherly instinct to take over and treat them like she treated the Pandavas.

"You can learn many things from children. How much patience you have, for instance."

    Vampirism: - (B)
A composite Skill representing the wide-ranged nature and abilities of a vampire, either mythological, literary or 'real' (Dead Apostle) vampires, such as Blood-Sucking, Shapeshifting, and Battle Continuation. It also includes various vampiric weaknesses. Normally, Assassin would not possess this Skill, but after being fused with a vampiric Phantom, it is possible for her to 'switch' into a vampiric form via her Noble Phanatasm. The vampiric powers--and weaknesses--which Assassin possess are:

    Spoiler:
    =>Blood-Sucking - B
A basic vampiric ability to replenish health and magical power by absorbing another's blood. It is also possible to apply Subjugation effect to the victim, though the original Phantom who used it preferred to completely devour her victim's organ.

    =>Shapeshifting - B
A vampiric power which refers to the technique of both changing form and borrowing body. It is possible for Assassin to change form into a monstrous Demonic Beast--gaining a C-ranked Monstrous Strength--and also into a flock of black birds. It is also possible to 'borrow' the body of a plant, similar to a magecraft which utilize the same effect.

    =>Battle Continuation - C
A Skill which allows one to continue fighting even after receiving a fatal wound, it also represents one's strong will to survive or a 'never give up' way of thinking. It is possible for Assassin to continue fighting despite being hit by one of her weaknesses. It represents her determination to protect her childrens.

=>Hollow Lament of the Falsely Living - C
A power which makes it possible to rob the capability to think and breath of enemies by emitting a shocking and powerful screaming--or in Assassin's case, weeping.

    =>Vampiric Weaknesses
Vampires has many powers, but they also has many weaknesses. Assassin is weak against sharp iron, holy symbols, religious chants and fire. However she is resistant to Hindu holy symbols and chants, due to having a continuous blessing from Krishna. Her power also is disbled during daytime, which reverts her back to her 'normal' form as Heroic Spirit Kunti.

    NOBLE PHANTASM
    Mantra Durvasa
O Gods, Let Me Bear Your Child
    Rank : EX
    Type : Anti-Divine
A Noble Phantasm in the form of a powerful mantra Assassin received as a gift from a powerful Rishi, Durvasa, for the service and comfort she offered during the sage's visit to Kuntibhoja. It is a mantra which allows for a Divine Filiation--similar to how the Holy Virgin Mary gave birth to Jesus, allowing Assassin to invoke any god and receive a child fron said god. It is how she was able to gave birth to Karna, Yudhishthira, Bhima and Arjuna, son of Surya, Yama, Bayu, and Indra respectively. As a Noble Phantasm however, the child conceived would only be a homunculus, a "Divine Homunculus".

Upon the incantation of the mantra and invoking a certain god, this Noble Phantasm will be activated. However, not all gods would be capable of answering the call, the exceptions are gods which cannot, by their very nature, have a child with a mortal woman. After the mantra has been invoked, a divine 'seed' will be planted on Assassin's womb and will rapidly develop inside a phantasmal space on her womb into a full-grown human with high rank divinity within just three days. That's a lot of time in a normal Holy Grail War. Because of this, a magi with some knowledge of homunculus creation may speed up the process by removing the embrio into a container used to 'grow' a homunculus, thus speeding up the time needed to 'raise' the child into a full-grown Divine Homunculus.

This 'child' will have access to the divine powers of their father, their power and potential varies greatly depending on their chosen father. They also may potentially grow as strong and skilled as a child already born from the same father, or mother. For example, a child by a Sun-God Surya will have a 95% chance of growing into someone as skilled as Karna. Though there's actually no limit in how many times she can use this, Assassin has personally limited the children she can give birth for each summoning to just five childrens.

    Pasak Pontianak
    My Childs, Curse Me
    Rank : C
    Type : Anti-Unit (Self)
A Noble Phantasm in the form of a rusty iron nail, pierced into the back of Assassin's head. It functions as an "on and off button" between Assassin's 'lovely mother' form and the 'ferocius vampire' form of the Phantom fused with her. This Noble Phantasm derives from the Phantom Kuntilanak's legend which said that when a nail is pierced in the back of a vampiric Kuntilanak, then the ghastly vampire will transform into a beautiful and lovely woman. In other words, this Noble Phantasm toggles between the Heroic Spirit Kunti and the Phantom Kunti. This Noble Phantasm can only be activated during nighttime and will be automatically disbled during daytime.

In her vampiric form, her physical parameters will be boosted and several of her Skills will receive a rank-up (Presence Concealment), rank-down (Divinity) and even be sealed (Espionage), Assassin will also gain a new Skill representing the nature and ability of this vampiric form (Vampirism). It can be said that this form is Assassin's "Combat Mode", as opposed to her more gentle and supportive original form.

In this form, it is also possible--by utilizing the vampire's Blood-Sucking Skill--to absorb the essence of the 'children' in her womb, the child conceived from her other Noble Phantasm, gaining the characteristic and power of a demi-god while still being an unholy abomination. However, being a mother who truly loves her all of her childrens, whether they're born or unborn, Assassin would never do this. Of course, some Master could always force her to do it using a Command Spell.

"You're curious about this... nail? Listen child, some things are better not be known."

Heh, that makes two motherly servants on the same page. By the way, you mispelled "skill" in the description for Espionage.

"Forward, my darlings! We march to victory and glory! Bwahahahahahaha! Bear witness, tiny ground people, at Mary Anning's Amazing Dinosaur Army!"

    Rider
    Mary Anning

    Alignment: Chaotic Good
    STR: E
    END: C
    AGI: B

    LUCK: C+
    NP: A+

    Class Skills

    Riding (A+)
: A Class Skill of Rider and Saber class Servants, denoting the ability to ride mounts and vehicles. Rider-class Servants will typically possess a high rank. It is said that dragon type mounts are an exception, requiring a different ability other than Riding. All vehicles and all creatures up to the level of Phantasmal Beast and Divine Beast can be used as mounts. However, that does not apply to members of the Dragon Kind. A very, very high rank for someone without fame as a rider, Anning has this skill as a result of the Phantom fusion, since it allows her to ride her pets.

    Magic Resistance (E):
Grants protection against magical effects. Differing from the Resistance effect that merely rejects Magical Energy, this ability cancels the spells altogether. Because she is a Heroic Spirit from an age where Mystery was very thin, one can hardly expect any Magic Resistance from her. As a degree of apology, she is compensated with this Skill only due to her class container. Her pets, on the other hand, hailing from a time beyond recorded history, have oceans of Mystery, and as such are almost entirely immune to magic, with spells simply ricocheting off their hides.

    Personal Skills

Analysis (A+): A skill that’s useful for investigations. By studying the scene, carefully analysing the area, and making careful hypotheses, Anning can extrapolate any missing information from a set of data presented to her. A very useful ability for a palaeontologist, who rarely has the luxury of working with complete specimens, and usually has to extrapolate information with the bare bones of a situation, as it were.

Hunting (C): A tracking-based skill based on acuity of vision and technical knowledge. Related to her Analysis skill, Anning is able to instantly identify likely fossil beds and extract the fossils safely. She can also put her eyesight and intuition to use in following trails of clues left by other Servants. Perhaps surprising even herself, these skills combined with her Noble Phantasm make her a surprisingly good detective.

Presence Concealment (B): The capacity to hide one's presence as a Servant. It is a common Class Skill of the Assassin class. Hides one's presence as a Servant. Suitable for spying. It is possible to disappear and become extremely difficult to be detected. The rank of Presence Concealment drops considerably when preparing to attack. A skill belonging to the Monster rather than Anning, which it possesses due to its ability to hide from the many searches made for it.

    Noble Phantasms

    Duria Antiquior
    The Past Comes to Life

(Support, E): The name of a watercolour painted in 1830 by the geologist Henry de la Beche, based on Anning’s work. A technique that allows Anning, based on her analyses and deductions, to create a magical semblance of what an object appeared like in the past. She can use this to create illusions of events that took place in the past. However, when used on a skeleton, it gives them their appearance at the time of death. The reanimated corpse is more than the illusions normal brought forth by this ability, creating magical flesh and blood over the bones, and softening petrified plant life, as the true nature of this Noble Phantasm is ‘returning the past to life’. Under normal circumstances, it is her only Noble Phantasm.

    Advance, Nessie!
    Monsters from the Deep Abyss

(Anti-Fortress, A+): The other individual in this Phantom fusion, a cryptid at least 1400 years old, but almost certainly much older, a great water-bourne beast that lives in the depths of Scotland’s Loch Ness. Due to anecdotes comparing its appearance to a plesiosaur, it has fallen under Anning’s aegis. Serving as her primary mount, it is a Divine Beast of phenomenal power due to the Mystery that it has accumulated, with poisonous breath and the ability to outright absorb magic thrown at it. By fusing its legend with her own, Anning can summon forth other dinosaur fossils under its command, giving her charge over an army of zombie dinosaurs that trample over everything in their path. She refers to this army as her ‘pets’, and loves them all unconditionally.

“Dear, darling Nessie is my favourite, though. Isn’t she the cutest?”

    Lore
    Likes: Pets (of any species)
    Dislikes: Plagiarism, seashells
    Talents: Fossil hunting, observational skills
    Natural Enemy: Richard Owen

Rider is Mary Anning (1799-1847), an English palaeontologist and fossil hunter, and one of the most influential figures in early palaeontology. Despite a lack of formal training, Anning hunted and sold fossils from a very young age, and discovered several now famous species of ancient creatures, such as pterosaur and plesiosaur. Her specimens were bought by other scientists, who used them alongside Anning’s observations to help support theories such as mass extinction events. Despite being largely uncredited during her lifetime, Anning has since been recognized as one of the most influential women in the history of science.

As befitting the discoverer of the plesiosaur, she has undergone Phantom fusion with a cryptid known only as the Loch Ness Monster, long associated with plesiosaurs. This has given her the abilities of the Rider class, allowing her to ride it and other fossil dinosaurs into battle. Though she can only animate fossils, she uses Duria Antiquior to give her pets a semblance of life. Riding at the head of an army of dinosaurs into battle, The Heroic Spirit Rider resembles more the proud general of a mighty army than the retiring fossil hunter she was in life.

She is proud of her achievements and posthumous fame, but tries (badly) to act humbly about them. Her wish is the resurrection of her beloved pet dog, who was killed in a landslide during a fossil hunting trip. Such a humble wish is because she truly has got everything else she wanted: fame and recognition for her life’s work.

Love Anning. Riding Nessie is a great mental image.

Question: If I put a Servant and an Alter version of the same Servant in the same post, is that against the rules?

I'd consider that the equivalent of taking up two slots at once, which would be a no-no since you've put in one entry here already. Not sure what 87'll think, though.

That's what I figured, just thought I'd ask. There's always the main thread anyways.

You could always put one here and the Alter one in the main thread (or vice-versa), unless you really feel they're inseparable.

    Correcto for both.

    Class: Caster
    True Name: Abdul Alhazred
    Alignment: Neutral Evil
Place of Origin: New England Yemen

    Parameters
    STR: E
    END: E
    AGI: D
    MGI: B
    LCK: C
    NP: A+

    Class Skills:

    Item Construction: B+
The skill to construct magical items. This skill is partially borrowed from Prelati, and thus its base rank is equal to the rank that Prelati possesses as a Servant. However, the "instructions for the construction of ritual implements for summoning and binding" supposedly contained within the Necronomicon have increased Caster's talent in that particular area.

    Territory Creation: B
The skill to build terrain that is advantageous to oneself as a Magus. While the workshop that Caster creates does resemble a "temple," the skill of its creation is completely borrowed from Prelati and thus in terms of function is no different from what Prelati would have created.

    Personal Skills:

    Necromancy: B+
The art of calling up and controlling wraiths and similar spirits. Due to the influence of Caster's Noble Phantasm this skill is compatible with demonic creatures as well, though only lesser ones may be summoned without the use of said Phantasm, and greater ones cannot be controlled by Caster even with the tome's aid.

    Lunacy: B
A skill governing the infliction of insanity through a visual medium. In Caster's case, legends and stories of "things beyond" possessing traits that are impossible for for the human mind to grasp has resulted in this skill. Anything with a demonic nature conjured or controlled by Caster will appear to have traits that do not fit with a human common sense, such as a fourth primary color, parallel lines that intersect, etc. These traits are not actually present, but those susceptible to mental effects will perceive them anyway. And even if the image is created by the target's mind rather than by Caster, the pain and mental breakdown caused by it is very real.

    Evaporation of Sanity:
    A+
A skill that denotes that one's reasoning is disappearing. Technically speaking, this skill is only D-Rank when Caster is not actively reading from the tome that serves as his Noble Phantasm. Under normal circumstances, this skill grants Caster a mild bonus to enacting rituals in the form of an intuitive understanding of their function, but also provides a tendency to speak at length on his research while he works, even aspects of it that should not be shared. When Caster is reading from his tome however, all sanity is temporarily lost and replaced by "the reasoning of demons," which Caster is able to grasp and share with others. Thus, while Caster is unable to keep secrets as per other iterations of this skill, the secrets in question qualify as "mental attacks."

    NOBLE PHANTASM
    Necronomicon
Forbidden Text of the Nameless Worlds
    Rank : A+
    Type : Anti-Principle

The ultimate text of abominable magic, the defining work of all that is abhorrent to reality... or so it would seem. In truth, this book is actually the Spiral Text penned by Francois Prelati, in a different form.

The Spiral Text formed a connection to a "place that should not be reached," allowing demons associated with the deeps of the sea to be summoned. However, the Necronomicon's legacy as "the ultimate guide to reaching the places beyond," the connection may be changed to reach any place with a "common sense differing from humanity's." When Caster opens this book and reads from it aloud, a connection will be forged to one of those places, the destination determined by a combination of Caster's surroundings and current state of mind. Once Caster has begun reading, his sanity will vanish and he will continuously summon demons until Caster is interrupted or until the last page has been reached and his sanity returns. The summoned beings will not attack Caster, but their actions are otherwise determined by their nature rather than Caster possessing an innate form of control. The lesser orders of demons summoned this way may be controlled by Caster's Necromancy skill, but as Caster cannot use this skill while reading from the tome, he must either corral the demons afterward or having binding preparations in place beforehand.

    Lore

Francesca Prelati had a problem. Her greatest mystic code, the Spiral Text of R'lyeh, is bound to Gilles de Rais. As such, she cannot use it unless Gilles' spirit returns it to her, something that is unlikely to happen. Not that Francesca wants to use it herself, of course; there's a reason she 'gifted' it to Gilles. But it's such a shame for it to sit there on the shelf... Someone should be using it.

    Then Francesca discovered Phantoms.

By tying a Phantom to a Noble Phantasm, the Phantasm's nature may be altered. If one was bound to the Spiral Text, would it be changed enough to be used by someone who was not Gilles? Prelati felt it was worth finding out. And so she conjured up the fictional author of perhaps the most famous of abhorrent tomes: Abdul Alhazred, alleged author of the Necronomicon.

The entire basis for Alhazred's existence as a phantom is the Necronomicon. The tome itself is famed enough to be a Noble Phantasm, but at the same time it does not exist; it was an invention of Lovecraft, who wrote little of its supposed contents. However, the Necronomicon's use in works by Lovecraft's contemporaries -- who ran in the same circles as him, and agreed to reference it in their own books as a jest -- created the "Urban Legend" of the Necronomicon being a real book that predated Lovecraft's writings. It is from this Legend that the Phantom of Abul Alhazred was born.

    Personality:
A person who refuses to respect those that fear the unknown. It is his belief that no knowledge is beyond man's grasp, and thus all knowledge should be sought by man. As such, concepts such as "heretical research" and the like are nonsense in his mind, and so long as proper preparations are made for the safety of the researchers nothing should be forbidden.

When in the company of research-minded individuals who have not voiced a disagreement with this opinion Caster's behavior can be that of an almost fatherly individual, joyfully sharing his knowledge with those he considers his peers. His continuation of this behavior while discussing, witnessing, or even enacting grotesque sights and horrifying atrocities can be unnerving for some, however.

As for those who do voice dissent or balk at the unknown... Caster's view is that "seeking knowledge is what separates man from beast," and thus those who fear the unknown are beasts themselves. Once Caster has mentally categorized someone as such, he will refuse to speak to them or acknowledge them as human in any way, and will instead secure them as sacrifices or test subjects.

Abdul greatly respects Prelati for their creation of the spiral text, and their compatibility as Master and Servant is subsequently very high... for the moment. Should Abdul discover the true reason that Prelati gave the tome to Gilles de Rais -- that Prelati was afraid of using the book themselves, and thus gave the burden to someone else -- problems could arise.

While I don't feel like this is up to the same level of quality as most of the other entries, the more I thought on this sheet the more I felt like it was something I'd want to actually use for more than just the contest. And if I'm going to be writing a full sheet for this guy anyway, why not submit it? It's not like my other idea (Doctor Moreau and Gregor Samsa merged into an abomination) was all that great either.

We knew the forum would not be the same. A few people , a few people , most people were . I remembered the line from the Nasu scripture, the Fate/Complete Material... "Now, I am become Death, the derailer of threads."

The ability to withdraw from the battlefield in the midst of combat or reset the battle conditions.

    Noble Phantasm

    Le Crime Parfait
No Treasure is Safe from Me

    Type: Anti-Treasure
    Rank: B
    Range: ~
    Maximum Targets: 1

The Noble Phantasm of Phantom Thief. The legends of Assassin had him steal many treasures and legend, as such this Noble Phantasm exists as the ability to steal any Noble Phantasm from others and make it his own.

There are numerous conditions he must fulfil to perform this Noble Phantasm.

    1. Firstly the target must know their Noble Phantasm will be stolen, this will manifest as a Calling Card taking form which he must deliver to them. As a result the Noble Phantasm being stolen will manifest in the target central domain, for example a mansion they are currently residing in. If the Noble Phantasm is a certain skill or passive ability, it will form a trophy representing it thematically.
    2. Secondly, Assassin must steal the Noble Phantasm within the next 48 hours.
    3. Upon breaking into the targets residence, successfully stealing the treasure and exiting with it, it will be rewritten as “Stolen by The Phantom Thief” allowing him to use it as if it was his own.

He can only perform this once per target and if the heist isn’t pulled successfully in time then the opportunity is lost forever.

    La Carmencita
    Blazing Flower

    Type: Anti-Mind
    Rank: C
    Range: 1-50
    Maximum Targets: 1

The flower of the Phantom Thief Carmen. A red flower adorned on the chest of Assassin always in bloom. It possesses the effect of Charm-Type Mystic Eyes as anyone who witnesses the flower on him must pass a MGI check or otherwise they will fall irreversibly in love with him. The effect only works on those who are naturally attracted to him. Those under the effect are placed under a pseudo Mad Enhancement where their love for him becomes insanity at the cost of gaining power. Love after all his the greatest kind of madness.

    Fleur de Lis
    Lily of Crime

    Type: Anti-Self
    Rank: C+
    Range: 0
    Maximum Targets: 1

The flower of french royalty, branded on Milady de Winter and representing her time of as a murderer. It exists as a brand on his flesh that when exposed causes Assassin to roll a LCK check and upon failure forces him to undergo the trauma of the phantom bonded to him and attempt to kill any who see it - as compensation during this effect he gains a Rank Up to all parameters making him akin to a Berserker who can temporarily combat the three knight classes, elevating him from an Assassin barely capable of combat. If he reveals the brand willingly then he can choose to undergo the effect and although he may be willing to undergo this as he is disconnected to Milady's trauma... he always regrets it, such a form is unworthy of a gentleman thief.

    Biography

Arsène Lupin was a gentleman thief and master of disguise. Born as the son of a maid, when she fell ill, he stole “The Queen’s Necklace” that Louis XV made for his mistress to pay for her treatment. Despite everything else otherwise going perfectly, his mother was made into a scapegoat and forced out of work. Enraged, he trained his mind and body to become the great “Arsene Lupin” a thief who stole from greater villains than he.

He had numerous adventures in the tales of thievery consisting of both high stakes heists and fantastical elements like a ‘Radioactive God Stone’ and even a Fountain of Youth. Even as a young man he was able to outwit an aged Sherlock Holmes and solve a riddle the great detective was otherwise unable to.

However, Arsene Lupin was a fictional creation and despite having not existed in real life is the most popular ‘Gentleman Thief’ and exists as an archetype of the characters. During the Shinjuku singularity, 200 Phantom Detectives were summoned forth to deduce the culprit of the mastermind, naturally a detective needs a thief to catch and so 200 Phantom Thieves conglomerated together to form a singular ultimate gentleman thief under the name of Arsene Lupin. Other examples of the Phantoms within are; Milady de Winter, Carmen, The Invisible Man, Captain Kidd, among others whom he can change form into should the need arise.

    Character

A suave and debonair gentleman. A wilful and troublesome crook. He is both parts in equal measure.
He is a thief through and through, even absent-mindedly picking things up and putting them in his pocket without even thinking about doing so. One could argue that he is a hero as he only stole from the corrupt and criminals worse than he, this is not the case as he also stole from the wealthy who could afford the losses – half of his reputation as a villain comes from his own insistence.

He detests needless violence and murder, preferring to taunt his targets and leave them penniless. He’d clash with a more controlling and lawful Master due to his disdain for the so-called “Justice” that only serves the interests of the elite. However he is not a crude man as he would have nothing but respect for a worthy foe. For example he would enjoy another duel against Sherlock Holmes and would likely have a friendly rivalry against Robin Hood who possessed a similar role to him. A more complex interaction would be with Moriarty as he would be just as likely to assist him as sabotage and upstage him.

His wish would be to steal the Holy Grail, surely that would be the greatest heist of all time.

    Creators Notes

As there were 200 detectives in shinjuku, "Arsene" is 200 phantom thieves sharing a single suit. If the NP seems dull, it's because it's because it's combined from all the thieves, not just Arsene whom is just the persona being used.

And yes if it's not clear I have played a lot of persona 5, I almost used Akira as the fc.

So here's my new replacement first entry.

Castor+Pollux were fine, but I think this is an improvement. A very fun charming character. I’m a little confused about how his NP works, though. Does he leave the calling card beforehand? Also, I kind of wished you’d shown off more of the other phantom elements, this feels slightly too much like just an Arsene Lupin sheet rather than a phantom. I get what you were going for, but still.
