NP- A+
Personality
Class Skills:
Magic Resistance- A+
Power to neutralize the effects of Magecraft aimed against oneself. At this level, all spells below A-rank are nullified, making the Servant virtually untouchable to modern Magi. With this level of defense against sorcery, it would scarcely be an exaggeration to term the Servant a "Magus Killer".
Hailing from well past the Age of Gods, Saber would normally sport only a D or, at most, C ranking in this Skill. However, reflecting the legend of him having been divinely blessed by the Virgin Mary to overcome the magic of the great sorceror chieftain Tecun Uman, Saber's resistance has been vastly increased to that of an A-rank.
A plus correction is applied against spells originating from the Mesoamerican region, further amplifying Saber's already immense resistance.
Riding- A
Ability to ride animals. At this rank, all beasts of burden can be utilized at a high degree of skill, but not those of the Phantasmal or Divine species. A fitting talent for a legendary Conquistador, as Saber's most famous battle was carried out on horseback he possesses this Skill at A-rank.
Personal Skills:
Conquistador- B
The Skill of one who had conquered the unchartered lands at the end of their voyages during the Age of Exploration. In Spanish, it means "conqueror". Denotes the ability of invading, ruling, pillaging, and enslaving an undiscovered land. Grants Saber a rank-up to all parameters while in enemy territory. As such conquests were largely driven by a desire to plunder the wealth of foreign civilizations, this bonus also applies against opponents with the "Golden Rule" Skill. Being one of the first to lead efforts in colonizing the New World alongside the likes of Cortes and Pizarro, Saber naturally wields a high rank in this Skill.
Mana Burst (Flames)- D+
Indicates an increase in performance through infusing one's weapons or body with magical energy and immediately expelling it. Simply put, recreating the effects of a jet-burst through expending vast amounts of magical energy. In Saber's case, magical energy unleashed through this Skill takes on an effect reminiscent of blazing flames. However, as this Skill's rank is rather low it produces only a weak yet dazzling conflagration, more suitable for showmanship than truly effective in combat.
Fascinated by his fiery red hair and pale skin, native Aztecs referred to Saber as a human avatar of their sun god Tonatiuh. While in truth he hasn't even a drop of godly blood in his ancestry, that association with a Divine Spirit of the sun has allowed Saber to call upon a pale imitation of its celestial fire as his own.
In line with the Aztec belief that the sun was nourished by human sacrifice, Saber can also strengthen the flames produced by this Skill by offering them some of his own blood. Upon doing so, the resulting blaze is greatly stoked and the effective performance of this Skill rises to B-rank. Of course, since these flames are rather hungry Saber must be careful not to offer too much of his blood at once, lest they grow to consume his spiritual core entirely.
Sadistic Constitution- C
A Skill that augments one's aggression in battle, raising attack power at the cost of sealing defensive abilities. While appearing to be a favorable Skill, the Servant's abusive disposition grows as battle rages on, abandoning their usual composure. This can be seen as only a step short of the Skill driving Berserkers to sink into madness.
Although renowned for his skill as a soldier, Saber is remembered more for his immense cruelty against the native Aztecs- cutting a bloody swath of slavery, massacres and brutality across the New World. Even amidst the heartless rapacity of his fellow Conquistadors, Saber's sheer greed and bloodthirst stood head and shoulders above all.
Disengage- B-
The ability to break away from battle and return to allied territory after an engagement. At this rank, Saber can usually retreat from combat with little chance of failing. Also has the effect of returning an unfavorable battle to the "first turn", along with the status of all combatants. However, as a tactical mind is needed to reap the full benefits of this Skill, it loses effectiveness the more Saber succumbs to the effects of his Sadistic Constitution.
After Saber's wholesale massacre of the Aztec nobles, rebellion spread like wildfire across the capital city of Tenochtitlán- forcing Saber and his men into swift retreat. First they attempted to sneak quietly out of the city under cover of darkness, but were discovered by the Aztecs.
Fierce fighting erupted and Saber, who led the rear-guard action, narrowly escaped through a spectacular leap across a canal that became known as the "".Alvarado's LeapSalto de Alvarado

So, this is the sheet I've been working on for the last few days. At first I envisioned this guy as a Rider or Lancer, but after the contest started I changed plans to fit him into the Saber Class (and came up with a cool sun-based NP in the process, I might add). Put a fair deal of effort into this guy so I hope y'all enjoy the sheet (even if it doesn't win)! As always, comments and criticisms are welcome.

Wow, this contest got a bigger reaction than I thought it would, but that's great!
Liking everyone's sheets so far, but if you haven't gotten one in yet, don't worry! Still plenty of time.

Class Skills
Magic Resistance (C): Grants protection against magical effects. Differing from the Resistance effect that merely rejects Magical Energy, this ability cancels the spells altogether. Cancel spells with a chant below two verses. Cannot defend against magecraft on the level of High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals. As Saber himself has a negligible resistance to magic, the effectiveness of this Skill is pathetically low, even by the normal standards of the Saber class. However, his Noble Phantasm, when activated, provides a massive boost to his Magic Resistance.
Riding (C): A Class Skill of Rider and Saber class Servants, denoting the ability to ride mounts and vehicles. Rider-class Servants will typically possess a high rank. It is said that dragon type mounts are an exception, requiring a different ability other than Riding. Most vehicles and animals can be handled with above average skill. However, he cannot ride the likes of Phantasmal Species such as Monstrous Beasts. Because he does not have an anecdote of riding anything special or worth mentioning, he receives a low rank in this Skill for a Saber.
Personal Skills
Analysis (A+): The ability to observe and analyse weapons. At this rank, it essentially becomes akin to casting a Scan spell from an RPG on the weapon in question. Name, abilities, and any potential flaws and weakpoints become revealed with a quick, but focused study (though Saber claims he needs but one glance, this is not true). Obviously a priceless ability when facing enemy Servants, and a useful tool for uncovering their identity. Saber specializes in identifying swords, especially Japanese swords, and needs longer to analyse weapon types he is less familiar with, though more renowned weapons such as Durandal or Gae Bolg are exceptions.
Guardian of the Threshold (B): A skill for defensive fighting. During defensive battles, parameters receive a rank-up. Differing from the Pride of the Rearguards, which scales with the situation, this skill gives a flat boost no matter the situation. As such it is more suited to one-on-one duels than fighting an army by oneself. Saber can only activate his second Noble Phantasm if this skill is in effect.
Charming Youth (B): The disposition as a pretty boy who charms people. A fascination magic-like effect that works on both men and women, but one can abate it so long there is a will to resist. Complete evasion by means of a Magic Resistance Skill is possible. Alongside his natural good looks, Saber’s sincere but childish and clumsy personality acts as a further charm point. Because he is seemingly unaware of the effects he has on others, this skill is mostly activated subconsciously.

Ranmaru, huh? I'd contemplated writing him up before (as Archer, natch) but never got any good enough NP ideas, so it's certainly nice to see your take. Personality is well fleshed-out and positively adorable, so kudos to that. I do feel you could've included some kind of 'vigilance' Skill based on how he was the first to notice Mitsuhide's deceptions (trying and failing to warn Nobu on numerous occasions), though...
I was almost scared for a moment thinking that someone decided to do the same servant as me when I saw the image pic, then I read the opening sentence and "Yup, totally different."
I kinda wanna join but writing a bio in GDocs on a whitty phone is true suffering.
Because I have been living my life out of a 5kg backpack for the past 2 months and will continue to do so for another 2. A little lightweight smartphone is the sum total of my electronics right now.
Hope I'm not too late...

Class Skills:
Magic Resistance (B). Cancels spells with a chant with three verses or below. It’s hard to harm this Servant even with High-Thaumaturgy and Grand Rituals.
Riding (B). Most vehicles and animals can be handled with above average skill. This does not apply to the creatures on level of Phantasmal Beasts.
Personal Skills:
Eye of the Mind (True) (B). Heightened capacity for observation, refined through training, discipline and practice. Not result of talent, but something born out of vast combat experience.
While Uther didn’t possess any inborn special abilities, he bravely led armies of Camelot against human invaders and supernatural monstrosities alike. This Skill represents his capacity to fight as seasoned warrior, who faced and bested many enemies in life.
Charisma (C). Natural talent to command and lead an army. Increases ability of one’s allies during mass combat. Suitable for a General at this level.
Originally Uther Pendragon wasn’t someone who could rule a country, but rather a man leading soldiers into a combat. This changed only after one fateful night...
Illusionism (B). Proficiency with the art of conjuring magical illusions, a branch of magecraft used to beuilement. Both mental interference and projection of ephemeral visions into material world fall under this Skill.
Uther claims that he learned this ability by observing and imitating famed Merlin. Due to grudge held against the magus and his growing distrust towards magecraft in general, he is hesitant to make full use of it.
Battle Continuation (A). Exceptionally strong willpower, which allows to continue fight even after sustaining mortal wounds.
It is said that during the battle of Verulamium, Uther led his armies while being gravely ill, earning the moniker of “Half-Dead King” from the Saxons. However, even in that state he managed to deliver a crushing defeat to them, and died only because of poisonous water he drank after the fighting was over.
Mad Enhancement (E~A)
Not a gift of the Grail, nor innate ability of Uther Pendragon, but something that appeared out of unusual circumstances. As a Heroic Spirit, he naturally knows the fate of his son and the fall of Camelot, and, when summoned as a Servant and gets ability to understand this as a human, it becomes source of severe psychological trauma, almost shattering Uther's psyche. While he is able to seemingly recover rather quickly, this event sows seeds of madness and hatred in his heart.
In normal circumstances, Uther is not aware of this Skill, it cannot be registered with Master’s vision or special abilities of Ruler class, and it might remain unused for the whole duration of the War. However if Saber would happen to face someone whom he believes responsible for the tragedy of Camelot, he will be consumed by murderous rage and attack, while all his Parameters would be incresed proportionally to how strong his enmity is.
Against Guinevere, Lancelot and Merlin Uhter receives highest boost, gets moderate enhancement against Arthur (regardless of incarnation), Gawain or rebellious knights, and meager bonus when fighting loyal Knights of Round Table (in his eyes, they’re still guilty of not preventing the tragedy). Needless to say, Uther must realize whom exactly he faces to go berserk (i.e. have knowledge of their True Name), and enhancement would be activated only once against each of people he hates, regardless of outcome.
Interestingly enough, Mordred Pendragon cannot trigger his madness, probably because Uther believes that at the point of the rebellion the destruction of Camelot was already unavoidable.
Noble Phantasm(s):
Gorlassar: Radiant Sword of Supremacy
Rank: B
Type: Anti-unit
Range: 1-2
Max Targets: 1
“Great sword of protection” mentioned in “The Death-song of Uther Pen”, a text appearing in the Book of Taliesin. It name means “above the blue (sky)”, denoting its nature as a sword which can be used only by someone who acknowledged as “the strongest” across the land. Uther himself was called “Gorlassar” by the people due to his martial prowess and it was only natural that he became master of this weapon.
Upon release activation of this Noble Phantasm, physical attributes of wielder are boosted by 1 rank, while the blade itself starts to emit destructive radiance, dealing additional damage to the opponents.
Later this sword would change its nature to “royal sword” when Uther witnessed the Comet and was transformed into a king, and would be known as Clarent: Brilliant and Radiant Sword to future generations. It’s summoned as Gorlassar probably because Uther feels it is more appropriate for the War.
Banner of Pendragon: Sign of the Dragon Comet
Rank: A+
Type: Anti-Army
Range: 1-60
Max Targets: 550
Uther’s personal standard, hosting the essence of Red Dragon of Britons, which would later be transferred to his progeny. Passively it increases the wielder’s Charisma and Magical Resistance by 1 rank, signifying his transformation from a chief warrior to a king. It can also serve as a magical energy furnace, granting Uther some semblance of Independent Action.
Upon activation the Dragon is released a fiery ethereal silhouette which flies from the banner into the skies and then comes crashing down on the intended target, showering it with flame during the descent. This Noble Phantasm can easily burn hundreds of people into ashes in the matter of seconds.
It is said, that on the night Aurelius Ambrosius died, the dragon-shaped comet appeared in the sky, and after seeing it Uher received title Pendragon, and decided to use mark his banners with symbol of the Dragon.
Hud o’ Wthyr Bendragon: 2nd Great Enchantment of the Island of Britain.
Type: B
Rank: Anti-Unit (Self)
Range: 0
Max Targets: 1
One of the Three Great Enchantments of the Island of Britain, recorded in the Welsh Triads. It was created by Uther based on the knowledge given to him by Merlin, and was later passed to Menw, the Enchanted Knight of King Arthur’s court.
Nominally this is a spell that belongs to the illusionism branch of magecraft, but it is classified as Noble Phantasm due to its power and potency. Using it Uther can weave supreme illusion, verging on the level of True Magic, which tricks all perceptional abilities completely, even a sixth sense, Clairvoyance, precognition, magecraft-detecting, ability to feel presence of enemy Servant abilities even the senses of the Planet itself.
This Noble Phantasm can only be used on Uther himself. Additionally, he cannot use his other Noble Phantasm when enchanted, and if he chooses to masquerade as a regular human he also can’t demonstrate Servant-level of strength.
Lore:
King Uther, Chief-Dragon of Camelot, Chosen by the Comet. Father of famous King Arthur. While his story is overshadowed by the fame of his son, he can still be seen prominent legendary figure, an ancestor-king, who laid foundation for the future greatness of Camelot.
Originally, he was third and youngest son of Custennin the Blessed, one of the most powerful rulers of post-Roman Britain.
After his father died in combat, his eldest son, Custennin the Younger, was supposed to inherit his position, however he was poisoned by Vortigern, who served as Custennin’s advisor and might have been king’s illegitimate son. The traitor installed himself as a ruler, and since Uther and his brother Aurelius Ambrosius were too young to oppose him, they were forced to seek in refuge in Brittany. There they spend ten years growing in preparations to return to Britain one day, avenge their brother and take the realm back from the usurper.
The opportunity came to pass when Vortigern invited Hengist and Horsa, two powerful Saxon leaders, in his country under excuse of assisting him in fight against the Picts and the Scots. In reality, self-proclaimed King of the Britons, understood that people still see him as usurper, and wanted to use Saxons as his personal guard. It worked for a time being, but eventually the mercenaries turned against the tyrant, wanting to seize power to themselves.
The war broke out, but no side could gain an upper hand, until the infamous Treachery of Long Knives, where Hengist pretending to want to make peace with Vortigern, invited him and his allies to the feast, during which most of guests, including Vortigern’s sons, were slaughtered. The usurper somehow escaped, but his spirit was broken. Unable to continue fighting, he abandoned his people and fled into Wales, hiding inside well-fortified castle.
Hearing the news about all of this, the brothers decided that their time has come, and returned to the Britain with their armies. As their first move, they besieged the castle where Vortigern took refuge, and burned it to the ground (they believed that he died in flames, but unbeknownst to them he survived and later threatened Camelot once again). After this event Ambrosius was acknowledged as rightful king of Britain, and united the people with Uther acting like his most trusted general.
Soon after people began to flow to their side in large numbers. It was when Uther met the powerful magus Merlin for the first time. They quickly became good friends, and had many adventures together. Once, during the armistice they visited Ireland, where Uther helped the magus to stole megaliths of Stonehenge from local druids and move them to Britain.
Eventually the invaders were driven off the island for a time being, but the victory came with a sharp price. Many people met unfortunate end during the war, including Aurelius Ambrosius. He was murdered by an assassin on the night before last great battle of this war, when Briton forces lead by Uther faced Paschent, last son of Vortigern, who defected to the Saxon side. It is said that bright dragon-shaped comet flew across the skies that night, which was intrepreted by Merlin as a sing of Uther’s future greatness. After this he became known as Pendragon and had Red Dragon painted on his standards. The king himself claims what he received mystical vision of the Dragon himself declaring him “acceptable” and granting portion of his power.
Uther was victorious what day, succeded his brother and soon ended the war, but his kingdom laid in ruins and the peace itself was fragile and unstable. As soon as the threat of invasion disappeared, many of his so-called vassals started to plan rebellion, believing that the king is no longer necessary. The most powerful of them was Gorlois, duke of Cornwall, who had a beautiful wife named Igraine, with whom Uther felt madly in love with. When Uther got wind of his intentions, he decided to kill two birds with one stone.
Consulting with Merlin, Uther, who already got some basic grip on magecraft from his friend, devised a spell which allowed him to infiltrate Gorlois castle, while the duke himself was absent. In the guise of Gorlois, Uther gathered all necessary information about enemy forces and made a hash of their plans, giving multiple contradictory and tactically unsound orders, which allowed his forces to easily crush army of rebellious duke.
It is said that King Arthur was sired that day, but according to Uther it only happened afterwards, because Igraine somehow managed to see through his guise, and refused to cheat on her husband, even if she reciprocated Uther’s feelings. He claims that after that incident he join the battle and killed Gorlois personally in order free Igraine from marital vows. He married her the day after, and soon Arthur was born.
That day Merlin approached Uther and asked him to give the newborn to him as sign of gratitude for his help. Uther was reluctant to go through with his request, but the magus claimed that if he does so his son would become the greatest king of Britain ever knew one day. His words convinced the king and he allowed Merlin to take the child.
Afterwards he had few years of peaceful life, but then the Saxons returned, forcing him to take arms again. After several years of fighting, he managed to defeat Hengist’s son Aesk (or Octa) at the battle of Verulamium, but died soon after by drinking water out of poisonous well.
Personality:
Alignment: Chaotic Good.
While his progeny would eventually become the King of Knights, embodying the very concept of chivalrous king, Uther himself is not somebody who subscribes these ideals, and would not hesitate to point that out what he is not a knight.
And, indeed, his sense of honor is different, and he follows much simpler warrior ethos. Naturally bellicose, Uther takes delight in fighting, never backs down from the challenge and relishes the chance to battle someone strong. In combat, he doesn’t restrict himself, always going all-out and feeling true satisfaction only from complete obliteration of enemy, and not above using “unconventional” means to achieve victory. Despite this, he is rather a good sport and would graciously accept defeat even if the fight wasn’t fair, unless something else is at stake.
He sees kingship mostly as duty to the people. From Uther’s perspective, king is someone “who should take actions and bear responsibility for them”. Fulfilling these two obligations are an essence of being rule, and everything else, even the morality and ideals, are ultimately supplemental and minor qualities. It should be noted that Uther is rather critical of his own reign, saying things like: “in perfect world I would’ve remained a warrior”, but still believes that being king is more important, since fighting is just a talent that he was born with (and thus he can squander it), while the crown is something that entrusted to him.
Due to mental trauma, he receives when it becomes possible to ascertain the future of his realm emotionally (which cannot happen in timeless void inside the Throne of Heroes), his relationship with Master would probably be rather complicated. While originally Uther held neutral view on magecraft, seeing it as just a tool, and even dabbled in it himself, after finding Merlin guilty of manipluating and lying to him, he comes to conclusion that ill fame of the magi is completely justified. As a result, when summoned by a proper magus Saber would treat him with suspicion and contempt, if not thinly-veiled hostility, and if he or she happens to be practitioner of dark magic (curses, witchcraft, necromancy etc.) he might even kill the summoner on spot. Thus, the most suitable Master for him would be someone who lacks education as a magus and became participant of Grail War by accident.
Relationships:
While Uther Pendragon was with many women during his life, he only truly felt love to Igraine, and even after he is summoned as a Servant, she occupies special place in his heart.
As a child Uther used to idolize is older brother Aurelius, and traces of this remain within him even as a Servant. Basically, he believes that his brother was much better man than he is, and that if he was alive all future tragedies could’ve been avoided.
He bears strong grudged against Merlin. Uther thinks that” treacherous magus” used Camelot as sacrifice to become immortal (isolate himself from time steam) and all his actions from the day they’ve met served only this purpose. In similar vein, he absolutely despises Guinevere and Lancelot, seeing them respectively as immoral vixen and spineless coward, who couldn’t even must enough courage and fight for his love.
His feeling towards Arthur are more complicated: while Uther acknowledges him as a superior king overall, he can’t forgive him for leading the country to downfall by allowing his wife to cheat on him. At the same time, he also feels guilty about falling for “lies of the magus” and giving him to Merlin. It should be noted, that he has no idea about Artoria’s true gender, only seeing her once as newborn baby covered by the shroud.
He sees Saxon heroes as his enemies, but doesn't really hate them. He would be rather happy to meet Hengits, his sons, or Horsa as enemies in Grail War, just because it’s a chance to beat them one more time. Same thing could be said about Vortigern.
Creator Notes:
My take on King Arthur’s father. Might contradict some of the canonical information, but I tried to tie all the loose ends. This version is based mostly on Geoffrey's Historia Regum Britanniae with some information coming from Welsh sources.
The hardest thing was probably coming up with idea for his sword: I’ve seen anything besides one rather flimsy source tying him up with Clarent, so it was necessary to improvise. Gorlassar (“above the blue”, “superior one”) was another name or epithet of Uther mentioned in the Book of Taliesin the Bard, and in the same song some other nameless sword mentioned as his gift towards some warchief.
Him being a magus is based on theory that in hypothetical “original” tale of Uther and Igraine, the former used his own magical powers to impersonate her husband. That hypothesis is based on the fact, that Uther is named as someone who created 2nd Great Enchantment of Britain and taught it to Menw, son of Teirgwaedd, who appears as shapeshifter and illusionist in Culhwch and Olwen. I think he has natural aptitude for magecraft, but never bothered to study it seriously, because it felt much better to fell down opponents with his physical strength. His success with Hud o’ Wthyr Bendragon probably came out of blue for Merlin and he probably was very cautious about sharing magical secrets with him.
I think he could be a great antagonist (of “can be befriended later if you survive first meeting” type) against most prominent characters of Arthurian legend, sans possibly Galahad.

Can ride any ordinary vehicle or mount with considerable skill, but cannot ride Phantasmal Species or Divine Beasts.
Mechtilde:
Territory Creation: D++
Creation of a “Witch’s Abode” becomes possible, but any other sort of domain is out of the question for Mechtilda.
Item Creation: C
Items such as false contracts and letters, as well as other legal documents are Mechtilda’s forte, but if forced to, she can create minor magical items that can be a boon for her Master or Abel, provided she has the relevant materials.
Personal Skills:
Combination: C
No matter the intensity of the battle they participate in, Abel and Mechtilde can convey the best course of action to each other with a single glance.
Abel:
Original Sin (False): A+
A skill conveying how much one has inherited the murderous and ruthless disposition of one’s distant ancestor, Cain, who committed the first murder. Cursed with this from birth, Abel, who was named such by his father to try to combat the curse and make others look away from his hostile actions, has occasional urges to commit seemingly random acts of depravity, and receives massive boosts in his abilities when he is allowed to act on them.
Charisma of an Evil Genius: B
The ability to persuade and lead those who are as wicked as the owner of the skill. Even decent men and women can be persuaded to join Abel so long as they have even a shred of evil of selfish intentions in their hearts. On the other hand, moral or principled folk find Abel despicable on sight and will avoid him at all costs. While able to easily take over Denmark after the death of Erik Plovpenning, he had to imprison the old king’s entire cabinet of trustees during his reign, as they would not swear fealty.
Supporting Witchcraft: A+
Having been made a vessel of Mechtilde’s witchcraft to stand up to greater kings and warriors than himself, Abel is covered in dozens of curses that will assist him even when she is not present. These include, but are not limited to: Automated magic blast defenses to cover weak points in his stance, the increase of his physical abilities and limited manipulation of fate in his favor, the release of disorienting miasma through his breath that weaken his foes, a limited version of Prana Burst that allows Abel’s magical energy to be unleashed as bolts of shadowy lightning through Mechtilde’s aid, and a once-only ace-in-the-hole teleport spell that will automatically activate when Abel is about to be fatally wounded that transports him to Mechtilde’s Witch Abode.
However, all the curses laced over him also makes Abel easy to control by his vicious and manipulative wife, and so, the more he utilizes this, the more he unknowingly falls into her hands.
Mechtilde:
Deal with the Devil: A
Having sold her soul at a tender young age to great demons, Mechtilde is steeped in black magic so thoroughly that it is palpable even to an average person’s eye. Due this skill, her magic increases greatly in effectiveness, but her evil nature is instinctively noticeable to all those around her, and animals will flee from her. The strength of holy weapons and sacraments also increase greatly on her. Extremely unpopular among the common folk and nicknamed the “Daughter of the Devil”, Mechtilde has a lifelong rivalry with all things holy, and has been accused of destroying letters from the Pope that might have saved the previous king’s life, had they arrived safely.
Witchcraft: A+
Signifies one’s skill at the practice of Witchcraft, in Mechtilde’s case, of the Scandinavian variety, which has origin things from sagas such as herring bone reading and bone carving that has been refined and expanded to something akin to the witchcraft heard of in children’s tales. Augury, enhancing curses, death curses delivered through a medium such as the target’s bodily tissue and the summoning of demons and pestilence are all within her grasp, but much of it takes preparation and isn’t very suited for direct combat. She is capable of combat spells, but as a refined noblewoman, she has no sense for how to act in a battle and acts with supreme confidence as in social situations, which could result in her easy defeat by a combat-heavy Servant.
Alluring Nightingale: C
A mesmerisation skill inherent to those with a naturally beautiful voice, often seen among well spoken royalty or great beauties. A seductive and intense creature by both breeding and practice, Mechtllde has given many unreasonable demands to many a man and had them swear to follow through on their knees.
Noble Phantasm(s):
Abel:
Oath of Fealty and InnocenceDobbelte Tylvter-Ed
Type: Anti-Army
Rank: C
Range: N/A
Max Targets: ∞
A repeat of the oath sworn by 24 knights of the realm when King Erik Plovpenning died during a visit to Abel’s castle that guaranteed the ambitious man’s innocence in the eyes of all who hear it. So long as he can get more than a single person other than Mechtilde to swear on his innocence, the minds of all those who have born witness to or distrust Abel will be rewritten to automatically believe in his complete innocence on the matter, forgetting anything he may have done or why they might have been suspicious of him.
It is impossible to resist upon first being affected, but consecutive attempts to use this Noble Phantasm may arouse suspicion among those affected and break the illusion.
Mechtilde:
Oath-BreakerDjćvle-Datterens Nye Mand
Type: Anti-Unit
Rank: B
Range: N/A
Max Targets: 1
A Noble Phantasm with the basis of Mechtilde swiftly casting aside Abel after his death and marrying elsewhere for political gain, an act that shows Mechtilde’s love for Abel as passionate but unfaithful. While she married elsewhere, she loved no man like him, and missed him dearly for the next many years, using her witch arts to occasionally be able to speak to his soul.
At any time where it would be most beneficial to her (usually after Abel’s death), Mechtilde may break her connection to Abel, removing their Combination ability and effectively leaving them as two seperate Servants. After this has been done, Mechtilde may go and find another suitable man, who she will no doubt use both her witchcraft and wiles to woo and gain influence over. As she consumes this relationship physically, the second half of the Noble Phantasm activates, and over the next day, the man (or woman) who had intercourse with Mechtilde will rapidly begin to physically warp and change into a new Abel, with all the abilities and memories of the previous one (with Mechtilde’s abandonment of him conveniently erased from his mind), and their Combination skill restored. There is no way to escape this fate once one has laid with the Daughter of the Devil, for in that, one has sealed his own fate. If the new body Mechtilde procured should somehow have higher physical characteristics than Abel, such as a more powerful Servant who was somehow fooled into her influence, Abel will keep these characteristics until he is once more destroyed.
Should Abel somehow learn of these betrayals by Mechtilde however, bad things might happen to this otherwise fated couple…
Lore:
A duo of evil personalities that took reign over Denmark for a brief one and a half years in the 1250’s, Abel of Slesvig and Mechtilde of Holstein were a fortunate meeting between an inherently evil man and an inherently evil woman. Marrying in 1237, they bided their time, establishing themselves possible allies like the Archbishop of Cologne, before murdering the king when he was visiting Abel and cursing twenty-four of the king’s knights to declare Abel’s innocence.
While a sharp and skillful ruler, Abel’s rule would go on to be short-lived, as while he was beating down a peasant revolt in Frisia lead by Sicko Sjaerdema, he was attacked by a brave wheelwright named Henner who somehow maneuvered through Abel’s myriad of magical defenses and shoved him off Husum Bridge, where he broke his neck upon landing.
After his death, Mechtilde hid in a convent while biding her time to try and put her son into power, using her influence with the Archbishop of Cologne to have her son released from prison and later acquiring him the Duchy of Sřnderjylland until his death, where her second son instead took over. After securing the happiness of her last remaining son, she broke her oath of convent and officially married once more with the Swedish regent Birger Jarl, but after his death in 1266, she finally moved to Eider after the swedish people drove her out and lived out the rest of her days in hermitage, still clinging to Abel’s memory.
Personality:
Both are among the worst kind of humans. While Abel can be reasoned with and is on average fairly meritocratic and quiet, his murderous urges and willingness to carry out Mechtilde’s wishes makes him a menace to be about. In public, he is fairly charismatic and well-spoken, but his pale complexion and odd tone of voice makes him uncomfortable to be around, as it clashes with the idea that he is trying to be charismatic and coercing. Essentially, so long as he is not acting upon his Cain-based urges, he feels as if he is not being himself.
Mechtilde, while more of a joy to be around, is perhaps even worse to be around. Well-spoken, literate and a great conversational partner, her words are nonetheless laced with poisonous intent and sexual intensity, the kind of person who you feel has a knife to your back with just a word. Due her good education and strong confidence, she never seems to change her mood, and even if she is cornered, her smile never falters. She can perhaps be said to be the kind of person who never realizes when she is in a bad situation.

My Fanfics. Read 'em. Or not.McJon01: We all know that the real reason Archer would lose to Rider is because the events of his own Holy Grail War left him with a particular weakness toward "older sister" types.![]()
I thought you weren't supposed to make casters? Even if they are part of one set with Saber?
I'm in favor of keeping things simple and not being overly restrictive, at least to start, so I'm going to rule it fine.
After all, within the context of a stricter prompt interpretation, the only way to have a Combination skill at all would be to have a pair of sabers, which seems a little silly to me. It would in large part eliminate any possibility of using the combination skill in this contest. IMO, a restriction like that overly limits the kind of sheets that can be submitted at all, which is antithetical to actually getting entries and having a real contest. In this instance, the two work as a pair and play off each other, so it's different from having a random Caster thrown into the Saber mix anyway.
Just my thoughts. Happy to hear if anyone has something else to say on the matter.
Sounds interesting, i'll make one sheet for this.
So, after doing a bit more research into Pedro's legend as it was entwined with Tecun Uman's, I decided to change up how his first NP worked to more closely resemble the mythical record of their battle.
Now instead of a generic 'magic cancel' effect it's hopefully something a little bit more interesting...

Mehmed: So, this is your first Saber-Class Servant huh? He's pretty well-done, though I have a few points of criticism.
First, I think given his level of religion faith at least a B-rank in Magic Resistance would be appropriate. Since C-rank is like the bare minimum for the Saber Class any boosts he receives should really raise it above that, plus there's a slight contradiction in the description which both calls it pathetically low but also not "exceptionally" below average.
Imperial Privilege also doesn't really fit him IMO, much less at such a high rank. While the specific criteria for possessing it are somewhat vague in canon, I tend to picture it for rulers who raised themselves to the level of gods or what-not, while Islam is very strict on the whole "no God but Allah" thing. In particular, I'd expect him to utterly refuse granting himself the Divinity Skill for that reason.
Critique aside, I do like how you made his third NP "recreating the effects of an army" rather then a more generic summoning of his army itself. Much more creative and interesting.
