The prompt is not ideal ngl, but I'll be looking forward to yours and everyone else's entries nevertheless. I feel like this added level of difficulty will spice up them.
    Thanks!

Yeah this gonna be hard because I will have to going out of the comfort zone a fair bit because I haven't researched a new mythology in a while. Trying to read through the Kalevala, well if my incredibly terrible attention span lets me.

Someone that first appeared in the Poetic Edda, but most of what we know about them is from the Prose Edda, though in the section where Bragi talks about various poems, so hopefully this still counts. Enjoy.

"Huh? Oh, at last, you've summoned me! I've been eagerly anticipating this day for what feels like an eternity, and here we are — it was all worth it! It's such a joy to finally meet you, my dear Masters. Huh? Who am I, you wonder? Well, just think about where those enchanting magical apples came from. That's right! It was me, all along! Surprise! Hehehe! Now, let me properly introduce myself: I am Idunn, the goddess of youth from Nordic mythology, the one who brings the gift of apples! Hehehe!"

"I truly adore growing my delicious apples, of course! And oh, how I cherish the enchanting poems and kennings from my dearest, beloved, Bragi. I find myself missing him every single day. He had such warmth and gentleness, always lighting up my world with his brilliant smile. I would give anything to have him by my side once more. So, I can only cling to the hope that he finds his way into the embrace of at least one of the Chaldeas out there, my cherished Masters. You may need to save up some of that Saint Quartz. Hehehe. Don’t give me that blank stare; you know exactly what I’m talking about, don’t you, my dear friends of Beast's Lair?"

"It's not so much a dislike, but that Loki always seemed to revel in annoying me! Hmph! I understand that pulling all those tricks was part of his role, but did he really have to target me so often? One time, he had the nerve to call me a harlot who married her brother's killer! As if! He was just jealous of the deep love I shared with my dearest Bragi. And can you believe it? He even had the audacity to orchestrate my kidnapping, only to swoop in and rescue me to save his own skin! He even transformed me into a walnut of all things! Seriously, who does that!? Hmph. Despite everything, I still find myself missing him, along with all the others. I feel so incredibly alone."

    Bond Lines
    Bond Line 1
"I am nothing more than a bunrei that was manifested from the true Idunn, still in Asgard. Even after the end of the Age of the Gods following the Twilight, she remained the sole survivor of our rich Nordic culture in this world. The other gods were lost, reduced to mere Divine Spirits, while Idunn endured. Everyone coveted her apples of immortality, after all. She transformed into someone far too precious to destroy. No matter the enemy."

    Bond Line 2
"The countless apples of immortality I've devoured are beyond measure. I can't even fathom how long I truly have left to live. A thousand years feels like nothing. Ten thousand will slip through my fingers in an instant. One hundred million years? Just a mere droplet in the vast ocean of time. And one hundred quintillion years? They dissolve into a hazy blur of mere existence for me. I feel such profound loneliness. The true Idunn awaits the end of time in Asgard. Heh. She might even endure that endless stretch."

    Bond Line 3
"In the ruins of Asgard, there are no other gods but me. All have returned to their existence as Divine Spirits after Ragnarok, leaving me here to shoulder this solitude. Yet, I will wait with unwavering hope for the next cycle, for the next time the gods will grace this world once more. In the meantime, I will gaze upon the myriad worlds, guided by the precious gift Lord Odin bestowed upon me. Still, I feel the weight of my profound loneliness. But you, my dearest Masters, you can all be my friends, can't you? I have an abundance of exquisite ascension artwork, I’m incredibly rare, and I’ll even allow you to Grail me endlessly!"

    Bond Line 4
"I will never abandon humanity; my heart is bound to protect your kind with every ounce of my being. Lord Odin has bestowed upon me the incredible gift to glimpse into the countless, endless worlds that you all inhabit. I have witnessed nearly every moment that has shaped history, and still, I will tirelessly strive for your salvation. The blessings of Idunn will shower upon you in the form of my magical fruits. Please, I implore you though, save them for the more challenging chapters ahead. You never know when you might find yourself in need of that precious AP! Don’t squander it all on simply grinding for level cards!"

    Bond Line 5
"I watched the Incineration of the Human Order and the Bleaching of the World unfold from the refuge of Asgard, but my heart ached as I saw each of you bravely fighting for the future of all humanity. Yes, all of you. my dear Masters, out there giving your all. I witnessed your struggles for those countless worlds. Every dimension, every parallel, reaching into every single realm through those remarkable devices of yours - I felt your existence resonate. That is why I will send you my cherished apples, so that you can continue your valiant quest to save the Nine Realms. Thank you, from the depths of my heart."

    Cu Chulainn (Caster)
"Eh? Lord Odin, is that truly you in there? What on earth are you up to!? You abandoned me in Asgard and now you're lending a hand to some Irish demigod? Hmph! At the very least, you could have sent me a message to keep me in the loop. Huh? Check on you with Eski? A-ah. I. totally could have done that, right? Oops."

    Scathach Skadi
"I am truly sorry for everything that transpired with your father. From the depths of my heart, I mean it, for I never wished for such awful things to unfold. The trickster god Loki skillfully deceives everyone with his mischievous pranks and jests. The Aesir's intentions were rooted in their own selfish desires, and in that, your father unfortunately bore the consequences. Even though, I must admit, he did kidnap me! Hmph! Nevertheless, I understand if you harbor feelings of hatred and disdain towards me, dear Skadi. Though, I sincerely hope we can find a way to coexist for the sake of this world and all the others that exist too."

    Ame no Uzume
"Ame, my friend! It's time to celebrate like it's 5000 BC, babes! Get your groove on and let’s strut our stuff on the dance floor, yeah! I can hardly believe you made it here too, sweetheart. It's, like, honestly such a delightful surprise! I haven't seen you in ages! You simply gotta show me all those fabulous new moves you've been perfecting! Come on, babes! Let’s hit it!"
    Personality
Exuding beauty and gentleness, the blessings of a benevolent goddess permeate her entire being. Caster harbors a profound affection for humanity and derives joy from being reciprocated in love. She diligently aspires to bestow happiness upon others, consistently striving to fulfill the deepest desires of those she encounters. Nevertheless, despite her gentle demeanor, she possesses a minor vindictive streak against those who irritate her or commit malevolent acts, such as harming innocents. Her temper can escalate into a fervent rage as she pursues these wrongdoers to ensure they receive just retribution.

Moreover, she embodies a contemporary flair unusual for an ancient Heroic Spirit, demonstrating a strong inclination towards fashion, current trends, and elements that enhance her stylishness in modern contexts. This modernity leads her to frequent interactions with figures like Sei Shonagon and Ame no Uzume, where they engage in discussions about the latest trends. In essence, maintaining her happiness is crucial for her continuous benevolence towards others.

However, this aspect represents only the superficial layer of her existence. Beneath her radiant facade, one may discern a hidden frown beneath her perpetual smile and eyes that, although sparkling, reflect a profound sadness. Caster experiences extreme loneliness, having been abandoned during the Twilight of the Gods, and she continues to observe the world while lacking any means to engage with it. She fervently longs for human connection, seeking closeness at almost every opportunity in hopes of experiencing the presence of another, yearning to escape her solitude.

Thus, it is vital to ensure she is consistently surrounded by individuals who can become her most profound friends.
    Class Skills
    Territory Creation C
To cultivate and enhance her divine apples that grant immortality, Caster established a vast orchard within the confines of the Nine Realms. Upon being summoned as a Servant, she can manifest this identical orchard, enabling her to maintain an optimal production of these fruits. The orchard is characterized by ideal conditions for crop growth: the ambient temperature is perpetually warm, the season is eternally summer irrespective of external weather conditions, the soil is consistently fertile and enriched with essential nutrients, a Bounded Field effectively prevents the intrusion of insects and pests, and sunlight is continuously present regardless of the time of day.
    Item Construction C
As a fertility goddess, Caster was tasked with cultivating the fruits essential for the Aesir's vitality, youth, and strength. It becomes feasible to sow seeds and cultivate various apples in bronze, silver, and gold, each imparting distinct magical effects upon consumption, such as fatigue restoration, injury healing, and prana recovery. Notably, the hue of the apples denotes both their potency of effect and their growth rate: bronze apples exhibit the fastest growth but possess the least power, whereas golden apples grow at the slowest rate yet yield the highest potency. Additionally, the growth rate of all the apples, regardless of color, is further influenced by the concentration of mana present in both the atmosphere and the soil, which can be absorbed by the seeds to facilitate enhanced rates of growth.
    Personal Skills
    Protection of the Aesir B
In response to the abduction of Caster by a malevolent eagle deity, the Aesir united their efforts to safeguard and rescue her from his nefarious grasp, culminating in the construction of a sacred fire that incinerated him for his transgressions. This divine protection conferred by the Norse Gods has granted Caster the ability to manifest and wield the same holy flames that consumed her captor, resembling the effects of Mana Burst (Flame) B.

She is capable of launching incendiary projectiles, enveloping herself in flames without sustaining harm, propelling herself forward with rocket-like force, igniting her weapons, inflicting increased damage upon entities deemed unholy or evil, and more.
Divine Core of the Goddess EX
Born as the youngest sister of the renowned Sons of Ivaldi and wed to the God of Poetry, Bragi, Caster ascended to the status of a Nordic Goddess as the Goddess of Youth. She played a crucial role in maintaining the equilibrium of power among the Nine Realms prior to Ragnarok in her own capacity. Manifesting as a Divided Spirit preserved through the Servant system, she achieves the highest rank possible in this skill. This status not only confers equivalent rankings in the Beautiful Princess, Golden Rule (Body), Divinity, and Charisma skills, but also ensures absolute preservation of the physical form.

The preservation is so robust that it effectively repels mental interference, diseases, poisons, and ailments, while preventing any alterations to her physical state, regardless of caloric intake.
    Perfect Librarian B
While not a deity of knowledge herself, the image of Caster alongside her renowned apples of immortality was previously employed in the logo of the comprehensive Nordic Family Book, a Swedish encyclopaedia that encompassed extensive details on the history, culture, mythology, and geographical features of the Scandinavian region. By internalizing this literary compendium through her divine nature, Caster develops a distinctive form of eidetic memory pertinent to the information contained within its pages.

This memory enables her to instantaneously retrieve precise knowledge on numerous subjects, including the identities of the Norse Gods, Nordic Heroes, Noble Phantasms, magical artifacts and equipment, Scandinavian history, notable Norse locations, and Scandinavian cultural aspects, provided she succeeds in a Luck check to accurately recall the information.
    Noble Phantasm
Eski - Apples Gifted in Ash Wood
Rank A | Type Anti-Unit | Range Infinite | Maximum No. of Targets One Persons

Bearing the divine apples of immortality in an intricately constructed chest made from ash wood, adorned with protective and clairvoyant runes, Caster distributed them across the Nine Realms to every deity within Norse mythology. As part of her Noble Phantasm, the internal mechanisms of the chest related to the carved runes allow Caster to perceive and observe events throughout the entire Nine Realms (Multiverse) utilizing an authority linked to the Multi-Dimensional Refraction Phenomenon inherent to a particular wizard. This grants her the capability to invisibly monitor the actions of any specific individual she chooses across various universes, including parallel and alternate dimensions, as well as temporal states such as the past, present, and future, along with Singularities or even Lostbelts, at her discretion, as though possessing Clairvoyance EX.

Additionally, the true capacity embodied by Eski lies in its ability to transport any apples she produces via Item Construction to a designated person or location that she is currently monitoring, simulating the act of gifting them to the Norse Gods by placing them into the chest and sealing it. However, this method is restricted and does not permit the transportation of other items such as magical artifacts or living beings, herself included.
Golden Apple Idunn - Immortality Goddess Idunn
Rank EX | Type Anti-Unit | Range One | Maximum No. of Targets One Persons

Through the cultivation of divine fruits from the Nine Realms, the youth goddess fostered a miraculous existence that rejuvenated her Aesir brethren and elevated their prowess. The significance of these golden apples, which conferred limited immortality, was such that the Norse Gods continued to safeguard her during Ragnarok, ensuring her perpetual existence beyond the conclusion of the Age of Gods. In this context, Caster has the ability to recreate these miraculous fruits as her ultimate Noble Phantasm.

However, the production of even a single apple necessitates a substantial personal sacrifice. She transmutes every bronze, silver, and gold apple she has previously created into pure mana, unleashes the full extent of her divine authority upon the world, and dedicates her entire magical energy to its formation, ultimately ascending to the heavens after relinquishing everything in exchange. The result of this process is a solitary golden apple of immortality.

The individual who consumes it achieves a remarkable state, halting the aging process for 1,000 years, gaining immunity to all diseases and ailments, recovering from life-threatening injuries that would typically prove fatal, and possessing a soul that resists degradation. In summary, the consumer attains a temporary form of immortality.

Well your design is working cause I have now started reading Dick Davis's translation of Shahnameh and uh...I have to stop myself from reading all of it or I won't even have time to make a sheet on top of everything else I do. XD Either way, thanks for the answer. And the prompt!

Probably not actually just because of how long the thing is, but it is interesting prompt. I'll probably look into the Kalevala just because of me learning about Louhi when she came out in FGO.
Late in saying this but nonethless: welcome newcomer! Always nice to see a new face pop up here.

...well, you could always do what I decided to do to save time on reading the whole thing: look through the TV Tropes page (what I did) or a list of characters for the epic with brief descriptions (what I tried to do, but apparently no one made that for the Shahnameh...), pick whoever's trait interested you, and read some of their relevant parts to see if you're still interested. If not, repeat step two. If you are, keep reading more of aforementioned relevant parts until you feel like making the Servant. That's what I did to settle on the Servant I'm planning to submit atm (notwithstanding any sudden inspirations to change my mind like my juan sheet). Just a suggestion if you want to do someone from the Mahabharata. Or really a suggestion for whatever epic you end up deciding to cover in the end.

Anyways...now that I'm done with that...
    Yup!
    Finally!
After so long...I'm doing Servant comments! Hopefully this continues whole contest and not just the first few entries...

Idunn: ...unfortunately i dont have too much to say on this. I'm happy to see Idunn as a Servant. I liked how you made her kit and how you incorporated all the apples and stuff that happened to her in myth and her story. Though I don't remember if she was ever put in isolation and made to observe like Merlin was a thing... Is it a thing? Eh, whatever, you made it make sense, whether it is something you made up or mot. My favorite part of the kit was definitely the skill, Perfect Librarian, since I didn't know about that. Is it somewhat out of place? Maybe. I'm certainly not complaining. Personality was a bit surprising. Mainly the "trend follower" bit. Again, not complaining. I'm just having an amusing time imagining her interactions with some characters who might just as surprised as I am. Overall, neat sheet. Just...nothing that stands out or speaks to me personally. Aka: probably a personal taste thing.

    MGI: C
    LCK: C
    NP: B

    Class Skills:
    Love Enhancement (C):
Love is a madness Humanity will never cure itself of, and Berserker truly is mad. As a result of Innocent Monster, Mad Enhancement has been transformed into the extremely rare Love Enhancement (This is a lie. It’s just what he likes to call it.). For Berserker, his madness originates not from rage but lust. This in mind, being afflicted with this Skill makes him, for lack of a better term, eternally aroused, consequentially buffing his Endurance and Strength.

    Personal Skills:
    Innocent Monster (A):
By all accounts, Berserker’s thoughts on sexual relationships were… intense. In the opposite direction. It went even beyond what his own teacher said about it and comes close to caustic. How ironic it is that, after his death, one of the few biographical works about him claimed that he died after being driven crazy by an aphrodisiac. This source, alongside many other things it described, was likely meant to slander him, but this idea not only endured, but was treated as fact, being reiterated and occasionally expanded on by others. While it is modernly accepted to be false, it remains a prominent feature of Berserker’s history.

Debatable or holding a grain of truth, this has transformed the contemplative, somewhat prudish and introspective man into a boisterous, excessive, lustful fool with flashes of brilliance, all the while swearing he’s upholding the Epicurean ideals. It also is the reason he qualifies for Berserker.

    Atomic Constitution (C):
While Democritus founded the theory that the world is made of atomic structures, Berserker solidified and communicated the Epicurean belief in this form to those outside of the school of thought. Though the beliefs are outdated and born of misattribution such as seeing dust particles in rays of light, it still brought them closer to the truth than many other early theories.

This core belief has manifested in how Berserker is able to manipulate his own body. Treating it like a muscle reflex, he is able to either expand the space between his atoms to temporarily phase through objects or tighten them up to increase his own Endurance and Strength, though these can only be done in short bursts. Obviously, this isn’t actually how this should work, but Berserker’s own belief that “It should work that way” has made it so.

    Clinamen (B):
Even if he didn’t conceptualize the existence of atoms, Berserker is the one who discerned how they would function within the Epicurean system of philosophy, something he teacher did not explain in his own recorded works. Berserker described an unpredictable swerve that atoms would follow as they moved through the world, explaining both how they would not all move at the same rate and time, but also account for the core belief that the universe, while following a set of ordered guidelines, remained a series of random events that just so happened to create everything. He named this unpredictable movement “Clinamen” meaning inclination.

As a Skill, this allows Berserker to ever so slightly shift the position of atomic structures in a different direction. Not enough to move something much farther than a few centimeters, but enough that something that would almost miss will. Inherently, the Skill’s utility is quite limited, and things that lack an atomic structure are unaffected, but it can be enough to tip the scale on occasion.

    Noble Phantasm:
    On the Nature of Things
    De Rerum Natura
: That the Sun and Moon are but Discs in the Sky (B)

    Anti-Concept

De Rerum Natura is, above all, the major source of information not only on understanding Epicureanism, but also Berserker himself. In and between descriptions about morality, the functions of the universe, and mathematics, an almost autobiographical picture of his character emerges from the musings. The picture of a man who was not only dedicated to his teacher’s lessons zealously but also chose to innovate and explore them himself. In many ways, Lucretius himself helped form the foundation of what Epicurus wanted to share with the world.

This Noble Phantasm embodies not just the philosophical beliefs of Epicureanism, but even more the beliefs of Berserker. One of the major cores of these beliefs being “the senses never lie”. This is to say that your senses will never mislead you on the information they provide, but it is the imperfect mind that is not always able to interpret them properly. It is with this logic that they claimed universal “truths” such as the world being flat, there was a universal “up” and “down”, and that the celestial objects in the sky truly were the size they appeared from on earth. It is effectively the familiar adage of “I’ll believe it when I see it with my own eyes” taken to its logical extreme.

Acting like an enhanced Civilization Erosion, it allows Berserker to impose his own “truth” onto the world around him. That is to say, that something is as it appears to his senses and nothing more. A shiny sword is just that. A spear is a spear. That wolf over there is a particularly large wolf. Things like divinity or impiety don’t mean anything in his world, neither the idea that the moon is more than a small silver disc in the sky. It is the erasure of concepts beyond the mundane and what he can perceive with his own senses. If he can’t sense it, it isn’t there.

Now, obviously, this doesn’t affect everything. True divine artifacts and constructs do not care what a mortal believes, and even things with causality warping effects may be exempt depending on their function (such as Gae Bolg’s only appearing as a spear thrust that pierces the heart). Even bounded fields and Reality Marbles aren’t always affected because he can perceive the effects they have.

However, the reason the aforementioned spears and swords and similar things will still be affected despite this comes down to its last effect and his current Class. In the Class of madness, Berserker is able to make leaps of logic that his normally sane mind would be unable to do. Even if he were to see one sword do something special, he would just think it was his mind misinterpreting his senses. With this “logic” he is also able to apply effects to things he takes in hand. This occurs because he “senses this is what it is”. It’s nonsensical logic he otherwise couldn’t abide, but being a crazed Berserker has created the bridge between “what I want it to do” and “what I sense it is”.

    Lore

Lucretius is probably the biggest reason Epicureanism became as well known as it is, not to mention his famous epic, De Rerum Natura, being both a contributor to atomism and a noted inspiration for several other poets and writers including Machiavelli, Vergilius, Thomas More, Horace, and more. Perhaps exaggerated, he is one of the men with the biggest influences felt during the Renaissance era despite his work being relatively unappreciated in his own time.

This is the majority that is known about the man.

If not for his epic, he likely would have been completely forgotten. The rest of his life, where he lived and his family, even his age, often placed in his forties, are lost to time. Many assumptions have been made, such as originating from an aristocratic family, spending most of his days at rural estates, and possibly being married. This last detail is the one most expanded on, as it is spoken as the reason for his death.

His death was recorded three centuries after the fact, and is generally considered either the result of confusion or bias. While the image of his wife Lucilia would emerge even more centuries later, it was said that a woman gave him a “love potion” that drove him mad. In this madness, between bouts of sanity, he would write De Rerum Natura before eventually killing himself in some undisclosed method. Why one with such a harsh critique of sexual relations would even be in such a position is not elaborated on, nor why it drove him mad, nor why he killed himself before he completed his epic.

The life and death of Lucretius will likely always be a mystery, but the character, beliefs, and impact of the man have already shown to have far outlived such a small thing as that.

    Personality

Lucretius is a hedonist. Not the “I’m going to kill a man for fun” kind. Hedonism itself simply refers to the practice of seeking pleasure above all other things. In that vein, much like his teacher, he was a hedonist long before he went crazy. However, it is in his maddened state that he has drawn closer to what is usually imagined when one thinks of a hedonist.

Given his particular madness, it is unsurprising that he is a very lustful individual. He is always down for a good time, is extremely open about his tastes, and doesn’t discriminate in any way. The issue is that he doesn’t know what he’s doing. There’s a poet’s mind locked somewhere in that brain, and he knows the steps and words to say, but he’s extremely inexperienced. He has all the confidence you could want with little ability to execute on it, not to mention any practical experience in the field he’s pursuing. It’s kinda endearing.

What keeps him from falling fully into the typical image of a hedonist is that he still devoutly follows all other doctrine of Epicureanism. He’s a pacifist, tries to keep his own nose out of conflict, vehemently avoids anything potentially harmful, and often seeks out things that are intellectually stimulating, all while engrossing himself in the indulgence of his sex drive.

These two halves of him are constantly at odds with each other, because he’s already a hypocrite for giving in to sexual desire and pleasure. He understands this, but chooses to shrug at it. The damage was already done long ago. Now, he’s just winging it, doing the best he can and trying to have fun along the way. He’s likely to break any of his own doctrine one minute while adhering to it the next. All of it will go out the window when sex is involved though.

In many ways, he’s a broken man in constant contradiction, but he certainly doesn’t feel like it, so it probably is fine. The senses never lie, after all.

    Relationships

Epicurus: My glorious teacher! One who is like a prophet to the knowing world! Please, bestow your wisdom upon me once more.

Epicurus Alter: Ah, I see! So I was following your words all along! Thank you, mentor! I’ll continue to spread the word, and maybe a few other things.

Niccolò Machiavelli: The Prince was a really good work of satire! …Huh? Genuine? That doesn’t make sense…

Giordano Bruno: Flawed? Nonono not in a million years! Tell you what: come have a couple rounds with me, and maybe by the end you’ll realize I’m not the wrong one here.

Plato: Oh my~ Trust me, I’m certainly flexing my brain every day, but I’m a little more interested in another type of flexing muscle right now~

Thomas More: Utopia was quite the wonderful read. Things really would be better that way, wouldn’t they?

Jaguar Man: Maybe I should get one of those! I mean, I’d take yours if you offered. There’s probably enough room in there for two, isn’t there?

Red Hare: He looks at the horse-man-thing, tapping the chin of his tilted head.
    …Maybe…

    Actor:
What can he say? He found someone hornier than him.

Seiu Ito: I know you’re the expert but hungh didn’t know that one was coming!
I apologize. You know what you’re doing.

Titus Lucretius Carus: Look here. My “unenlightened” self. Or… maybe my “enlightened” self? Honestly, I don’t really know at this point. What I do know is that we were way too overdramatic about the whole thing! I mean, did we really need to kill ourselves because we started to feel a sort of way for someone? Maybe a couple so called “agonies” is needed! …Don’t you just walk away!

Shuten Doji: You know? After talking with myself for the last hour, a drink does sound really good right now. …Why Shuten~ If you keep talking like that, I may think you’re trying to seduce me. It’s working.

    Craft Essence

    Lucilia

Well, you got me right where you want me. All tipsy.
This you getting ready to make a move on me? You didn’t need to try so hard. I’m always ready for a little spice~

Hehehehe~ I used to be such a prude, you know? You wouldn’t catch me dead in a bar or with a woman. Not unless I was teaching her some things, you know what I’m saying? Yeah, I wish! I love Epicurus, but that guy. He really led me wrong on one thing.

Or maybe he just didn’t warn me right, you know? You tell me! You meet the greatest woman to ever walk your cross your path, and how can you not fall for her?

She wasn’t even beautiful. Not in any way I’ve seen. Not in how they poeti… poeti… say in poems. I’d even say she was almost ugly! But when you looked at her, it was obvious! The woman wasn’t attractive, she was desirable! Pracically sec on legs! You didn’t have a choice, you wanted her! And that mind, what a mind! I could talk to her for hours. I didn’t even know women could be that wonderful...

Lucilia knocked my whole world off.

They tell me I went crazy, but you know what I think! I was already crazy, so why not add in some more? If I’m crazy, I don’t want to be sane!

Another round! Tonight is a party, and I am not sleeping alone!

    Creator Notes
This could’ve been so much worse. I almost had him speak in furry copypasta. Oh yeah, that’s related to why I picked someone with animal ears. It’s because Lucretius often praised animals, especially domesticated ones, for having the right idea, following only their senses and being in tune with nature, which was one of the Epicurean ideals. So, as a Servant, he tried to manifest himself closer to his ideal. Be happy I didn’t make him a full on furry. It was a close call.

    A taste:
    Actor: UwU *notices your bulge*

Also, the specific song for his theme isn’t actually sung by him, but I imagine is sung by Lucilia, given it’s about a girl obsessed with a smart guy trying to convince him to kiss and sleep with her, and some of the lines make you realize she would be exactly the type of person who would slip a love potion to them. Then again, in my head, that’s not how it happened for my version of the character. He just fell in love when he never wanted to. And yeah, the misspellings and awkward phrasings in the CE were intentional.

    Oh yeah. Here's some citations.

...jeez that prompt. Well, I did just recently get interested in the Kalevala, so I might actually have something. And now that I have more than six seconds to breath, may as well dig out the old tools to make a sheet sometime this moth.

My book should arrive pretty soon...
    In the meantime

Idunn: Oh hi Anju. The new template's quite nice. As for Idunn herself...

Ah, an explanation for a FGO gameplay abstraction. Ok. The Class Skills work well I think. Protection of the Aesir - I get it, but maybe it could've had a less generic name, maybe through the addition of a modifier like (Flame) or something, to indicate the flame properties and possibly that it's actually quite the offensive Skill. Divine Core of the Goddess at such a high Rank obviously works well given the backstory you're going with for her. Perfect Librarian... You dug out a neat trivia piece, but I feel like you could've maybe just mentioned the whole 'outlasting the Norse pantheon and continuing to live beyond it' thing again, to justify the actual memory components of the Skill more strongly, and then brought up the library fact near the end of the Skill description as a reason to why she chose to rename/'fit' her Skill like that - would fit with her personality to not name it after grief, I think.

The second NP is nice. Not quite sure what to think about the first yet, so I'll hold off on judging it just yet... Is the 'Nine Realms' = 'Multiverse tied to the Second Magic' correspondence established anywhere in canon?

Other than that, it feels a bit strange that she has several lines in which she's open about her profound loneliness, even from relatively early bond stages, but according to the personality section generally keeps up a facade, which we don't get to see a lot of. The trend-chasing and modernity elements aren't all over the sheet but they're fitting for a goddess associated with youth without being an obvious direction, so, that was nice.

Lucretius: The idea of turning him into a horny wolfboy is funny, I like the concept behind it and I can be down for this form of Innocent Monster. Him renaming his Mad Enhancement to Love Enhancement is fun and fitting, and I think you did a good job at explaining Atomic Constitution and making it clear how it's tied to his specific conception of atoms. I mean, you did with Clinamen too, but Atomic Constitution was worded in a funnier way and also seemed like a more Berserker-y Skill. That said, some choices confuse me.

For instance, I wouldn't say hedonism is generally associated with getting off from killing people. Like, sure, some characters and people that get off from killing people have called themselves hedonists, but imo it's not nearly near the top N things one thinks of when one thinks of hedonism, so leading with that in the personality section and insisting that he contradicts the hedonist stereotype because he's a pacifist had me like "What?" Also stuff like the second-to-last paragraph makes an amount of sense given what I could find again of his and Epicurus's opinions on instant gratification from a quick search but that could've used some more elaboration in the sheet itself imo because if anything *that* is way more against the modern stereotype of hedonists. And the craft essence fell a bit flat for me tbh, so the sheet didn't exactly end on a bang.

Also I hate the NP I'm sorry. To begin with, anti-Mystery stuff is hard to get excited for imo, I generally only care for it in rather select cases. It's obviously supposed to be something that is very rare for Servants due to how contrary it is to their nature, so when one realises that in theory you can stretch anecdotes to actually justify anti-Mystery properties for a very wide variety of Servants (for instance a ton of writers and comedians, explorers, scientists, many different kinds of modern age people, even things like that Voikirium sheet with the three Arthurs), I think the instinct should be to avoid it anyway in almost all cases if you can just come up with something else instead. I remember you've complained about the overuse of Nega-Mystery for Beasts, too, for instance. But ok, there is anti-Mystery stuff for this NP, and there is a kind of justification for it...

    And then we get to

Ok. Two separate problems. The first of these two paragraphs means that the NP is worded confusingly, because it is immediately contradicted in full by the second paragraph, so you might as well not word it like that, and say it would be limited in other classes as an aside while you explain what it actually does. Right now, you're listing the limitations the NP usually has their own paragraph, *in the same tense as everything else*, and directly contracting that paragraph right after, because they don't apply for Berserker.

    Second and imo larger problem.

Kindly: what the fuck is this?
I can't even put it into words.
So he can shut down anything and he can *do* anything, for reasons that are only nominally related to his senses as typically intended and are actually tied to him imagining sensation. This is genuinely worse than that the original Noihipli-Vegas NP and it doesn't even have the redeeming factor of 'yeah that scans with an extreme of his beliefs at least' that Gorgias2's stuff had because, as you yourself have noted, this part of the NP does not at all make sense within Lucretius's own philosophy. And to be honest, a Lucretius with this NP just doesn't seem fun or interesting to see in any kind of story.

Hi Serra, nice to be (somewhat) back. Glad you liked the sheet enough to put out your thoughts. Regarding the skills, I do tend to give them generic names as per most pre-FGO sources, so this is the reason for no fancy naming schemes this time. Though, I'm not sure why you think the Perfect Librarian has anything to do with outliving the other gods, because it doesn't. It's actually just the same skill used by Hassan of Hundred Faces, but book based.

Also, yeah, the Nine Realms being the whole multiverse thing is just something I made up, since I'm not sure canon has even given us an explanation yet. The concept is meant to be that - since Idunn delivered apples to all the various realms, that has crystallised into a NP that allows her to send them to every realm ever, backed up by Odin's all-seeing eye.

Anyway, I just wanted to make a slightly humourous sheet that answered where all the FGO apples came from. So, don't take it too seriously. Hehehe.

Appreciated. I had fun thinking those up and making those.

The hedonism/murder thing was more because those are the types of negatives I've often heard in relation to the extreme debauchery of hedonism, and I just wanted to make clear that this wasn't going to go down that road. I actually read up some on hedonism when making this, and he's hedonist to begin with anyway, but I, perhaps excessively, focused on that possible aspect to assuage. On the CE, that one wasn't supposed to be some emotional gut punch like I usually do, but more a "that's where this started" that he looks back on wistfully while drunk as a follow up to the Shuten dialog. If it doesn't hit, it's fine.

And we get to the big part. There's a reason this is Anti-Concept over Anti-Mystery. He's not meant to be diminishing their Mystery when this is in play. If he was, things like Gae Bolg (which I use as an example in most things I've realized) wouldn't be able to use its release after he's categorized it as a spear. Likewise, a Servant is still going to move as fast as sound or jump really high and crack the pavement with their landing because those are things he can witness and accept. The only thing his NP affects in those scenarios are "Yep, that is a human person doing these things". It's like if you actually dragged him to the moon, he's not crazy enough to not accept the moon is a giant rock in the same way in his own epic he talks about how distance affects how one hears someone's words or how small sheep appear from far away. He may conceptually apply "big dog" to Lobo, removing the demonic status and lowering his strength slightly, but that's still breathing fire he can feel the heat of and a headless corpse that he can move his hand where the head should be. It's not about removing mystery. It's about re-categorizing it. Concepting it differently.

As for the second part, he's not gonna be able to pick up any sword and go "this kills everything, I know it in my heart" or look at a plane and go "that moves faster than sound" because the NP isn't about making the world more fantastical. It's about making it more mundane. He's gonna pick up a table leg and go "I was needing a pencil!" and actually write with it, because it clearly is a pencil, his brain was just misinterpreting. If he picked up a toy gun, he could fire it like a real gun, because his "senses" tell him it's real. It's not a "I do anything" ability. It's a crazed mind devoted so thoroughly to "my senses don't lie, my brain does" that he's become extreme with it. Part of the point ties back into his hypocritical state of being, because he's already breaking his own philosophy as a character, so that shows in his NP as well.
I will say I could've made it more clear that it's not meant to be extremely strong. It's at B, but it would be at C if I hadn't added in his aspect of doing it with things he holds. Maybe I'll adjust it to C+, but the idea was, even though I used Gae Bolg as an example, he could call it a normal spear all he wanted, it's still a B rank NP that's above his paygrade.

Is this sheet any good? Probably not.
Did I write this because this one character in this character's backstory annoyed me so much I wanna strangle him and I made this sheet to vent? Definitely yes.
Okay seriously, I feel so rusty at sheet making. X/ This feels like my shortest sheet, and that I really could've done more, especially the NP and personality, but...
Ah what the hell. I managed to finally make a sheet after months of not writing anything, let alone Servant sheets. So I'm just glad to have been inspired by the prompt and still inspired while reading my epic of choice.
So here he is. Hope he's not that bad.
...also, huh, third sheet. didnt expect to finish so soon...

In the name of the Lord of both wisdom and mind,
to nothing sublimer can thought be applied
Speak sage, the praise of wisdom and rejoice!
The hearts of those that hearken to thy voice.
The first thing needful for thee is to know
the sum of primal elements which He,
who maketh all thing from naught to show,
the greatness of His own supremacy
From fire and water and air and earth
did he cast and form the lands of our birth
With locks he made, with keys for each
did he give man wisdom and endowed us with speech
For every morning, shining like gold
rose a shield made of ruby for us to behold
And every night, we can be assured
of a veiled light that will not keep dark obscured.
Praise be to the hosts of our contest
where we may write and scream and jest at whom is best
Accept this humble scribe's offered tale of yore
as we partaketh of this tournament anew once more.

    ~The Youth of Siyâvash~

Born fair in face and hair, Kay Kāvus's son borne to a Turkish noblewoman was named Siyâvash, and the shah had, as was many have done before, hoped his stars were met with good fortune. Alas, horoscope was cast with nothing auspicious, and the shah worried for his boy. So when Rostam, the great hero who helped him keep his throne, came to offer to teach, he let him go, and thus Siyâvash grew up in Zabulistan. There he was taught how to be a warrior, learning of all manner of weapons, from the lariat to the bow to the mace to the spear. He was taught how to be a general, from using his cunning to riding a horse to commanding his troops. And he was taught how to be king, from speaking in eloquent words to making wise decisions to knowing what was just and what was crime. Each and every one he excelled at, becoming a man worthy of his lineage, and this was the man who, when he came of age, decided he was ready to return to his father, and Rostam decided to agree, accompanying him part of the way.

But while his reception was grand and festive, his father greeting him with gladness, his form had tempted his step-mother, Sudabeh, and she hatched plans to take him as her love. First, through his father, sending him to the harem where she ruled, under the guise of him getting to know his family and sisters. But not only was Siyâvash wise to such plans, but he feigned falling for it, accepting her plan of gifting him a bride if only she was approved by his father. That, however, did not stop the woman's wiles. She went to him directly, all subtlety thrown in the face of her passion, and so Siyâvash was forced to meet such bluntness in turn, rejecting her without trickery. And so Sudabeh unleashed her own in retaliation, clawed herself and ripped her clothes with a scream, and when his father came running, she accused him of assaulting her. As much as the shah wished to believe in his son's testinomy, it was her word's against Siyâvash's, his love for both clashing with his sense as a king. And so he bade them to bury the incident, wishing neither further harm.

However, Sudabeh wished such on Siyâvash for his rejection. And so, with the help of a pregnant witch, faked miscarrying to children and once again accused Siyâvash as the cause. Kāvus was quick to pursue the truth, having his astrologers divine they were evil spawn, finding the witch who had truly birthed them, and getting her to confess. But Sudabeh stood her ground, telling him the evidence was all due to fear from Siyâvash. And then she accused him of not caring if their children were dead, as if he had no heart, and for Kāvus, who loved her more than anything, it was blow that struck harder than even the heaviest stone. But still, he knew the truth, and so sought advice from his priests about the situation. And so, it was a trial by fire did Siyâvash undertake, Sudabeh declaring she had already proven herself with her dead infants, and the young man finding hell itself more pleasant than her accusations. On top his black steed, clad in clothes of white, he raced through the large fire, and leapt out the other side, protected by
    Ahura Mazda
    God.

Subadeh wasn't pleased, and neither was Kāvus. Love her as he did, as shah, he was ready to execute her for her shameless lies, lies she continued even as he sentenced her to hang. But Siyâvash knew his father, short as their time together has been. And so he told him to pardon the woman, so that resentment towards him would not grow, and thus, despite his discomfort, let Sudabeh live. He simply had to stay away from her.

And then war came with Turan.

    ~Class Skills~

    Magic Resistance A
A protection against spells, formed through his exposure to them in an era filled with magic and fantasy, cancelling out all but the strongest of incantations from the modern age.

    God's Resolution (Farr) A
As a man who believes in the teachings of
    Ahura Mazda
    God,
his resolution towards his God is strong, and he has been granted control over two Command Spells for each Servant should he be summoned as a proper Ruler within a Holy Grail War, a mediator between each participant, blessed he is with farr. And as a Ruler, should he judge a Servant as committing an offense, he will use these spells to keep them in line. And only Servants. For even if he wasn't allowed to use it against Masters, Siyâvash would never do so.

    True Name Discernment C
And as a Ruler, Siyâvash must know the participants within the War he presides over. As such, he has been blessed with this skill to assist in his role, allowing him to know his subjects from but a single and brief encounter. However, due to the events that led to his death, it is not as powerful as it should be, needing
    to pass a Luck check
    the blessing of fate
in order to work on any Servant,
    and pass another Luck check
    and doubly so
should that Servant be concealed or hiding their identity. But Siyâvash knows that, if he was supposed to know,
    Ahura Mazda
    God
would reveal such, and so is understanding of the limitation.

    ~Siyâvash Goes to War~

As shah, and a warrior, Kavūs was to go to war when he found Turan ready to attack once again. But Siyâvash, seeing the chance, offers himself in his place, so that he may stay away from Sudabeh while also fulfilling his duties as prince. Kavūs, being the flawed king that he was, conceded to his son's request, and so Siyâvash went off to war. As he got closer and closer to the front, the larger and larger his army grew, his countrymen gathering behind their shining prince and his teacher, Rostam, and his people followed the great hero, and so when Siyâvash met with Garsivaz, the Turian king's brother, and his army, his defeat was swift and total, sending him back to his brother. He warned him of his approach, but Afrasiyab, the king, dismissed his words and made merry. And he would've continued so, were he not given a sign in his dreams.

He dreamed of serpent filled lands, dust choked skies, and parched dry fields. He dreamed of a storm of a blood, a deluge of arrows, and a tsunami of cavalry. He dreamed of being bound, taken before the shah of Iran, and a warrior no older than four-and-ten cleave him in two. Afrasiyab thought he dreamed of his death. Garsivaz thought the dream meant good fortune, but was wise enough to summon those who could understand such dreams. And though they feared for their lives, one among them told the king the truth: that the prince of Iran would not only kill him if he continued his current campaign, but leave Turan in ruins, for if Siyâvash is slain by him in battle, Kavūs will stop at nothing to sate his vengeance. And so, fearing this fate, Afrasiyab told his brother to go with the gifts he will prepare, gifts of jewels and steeds and swords and slaves, to show that his message was sincere: that he wishes to end this war in peace. Garsivaz did as told, returning with all the gifts, welcomed by Siyâvash, who heard his plea.

At his teacher's advice, he waited for a week, then gave his answer: he would accept the peace, if he gave a hundred of his kin, for if he truly wishes to retreat, he will trust that they will do no harm to their lives just as they must trust they will no longer harm theirs. This was not something Afrasiyab could so easily accept, worried for their safety, but accept it he did, and sent the hundred warriors who were his kin. Now that he knew the offer was not poison to his fate, Rostam would have to deal with another, as both he and Siyâvash knew Kavūs poor temper, and there was no one eloquent enough to quell his grudge. But perhaps an old companion, an old hero, might.

...it did not. Kavūs believes Siyâvash's kindness was simply naïve, and that Rostam has lost his senses, for Afrasiyab has done too much evil and caused too many sleepless night for them to wish for peace otherwise. He will take command, kill the hostages, and show his son what he should have done. He ordered Rostam to stay, and replace him with another. Rostam, outraged at the man for daring to force Siyâvash to break his oaths, and insulted for believing someone else could be better than him, the great hero who helped him keep his throne, ignored his orders and returned home. Soon Siyâvash received these orders from his father, and he lamented the dire situation. If he obeys, as he should as a prince of Iran, one hundred innocents shall be slaughtered like vermin, and the men who had followed the shining prince would be appalled at his lack of honor. If he refused, war would come and consume the lives of even more. And all of this was because he had wished to be away from Sudabeh and her schemes. But he knew, whatever his choice, should he disobey
    Ahura Mazda
    God,
evils worse than both combined would come for his head, for it was then He gave him what he must do. And so, with a heavy heart, he came refused the advice of his wisest councillors. He had Zangeh, one of his loyal men, escort the hostages to their home and tell him of Kavūs's plan. He had Bahram swear to stay where they were camped and hand over his authority to Tus when he arrived.

With his affairs arranged, Siyâvash prepared to go into exile.

    ~Personal Skills~

    Khvarenah B
Or as Siyâvash and his people knew it as, farr.
The shining glory that only those blessed by
    Ahura Mazda
    God
possess. Whether it be powerful warriors like Rostam or wise kings like Fereydun, if they are to enact great feats and follow His tenets, they are to be given His grace, protection and powers. And as a devout follower, Siyâvash is particularly blessed.
    His
    parameters
    capabilities
are forever greater than were he a man without it. His
    class skills
    abilities in this new vessel
have been given boosts in accordance with his life. And he has been granted
    a personal skill
    the gift of insight
from his god. That it not the end of the gifts, for his god is generous. For as long as Siyâvash continues to be righteous and do good by
    Ahura Mazda
    God,
he will be granted a level of protection against
skills that require Luck checks, mental interference, restraining spells and such, and moderate amounts of damage
    obstacles he must overcome,
    for it is
    Ahura Mazda
    God
has a plan for him, and he will survive to fulfill it.
    However...should
    the plot require it
such an obstacle be part of his downfall...
than that, too, is part of his fate.

Teachings of the Great Hero A
All that he learned to be a ruler and a warrior was taught by none other than Rostam. Trained in weapons of all kinds, from the bow to the lariat to the spear to the mace. Learned of words eloquent, graceful and kind. Knowledgeable of good and evil. And taught how to lead armies and fight both wars and battles, atop his own horse. For it was thanks to him he
has a personalized version of All Kinds of Specialties
    is capable of so much
and able to use it all for the sake of others. With all that he had gained, he was able to win wars, hold his own against warriors, be aware of schemes, and treat his people fairly. As expected of one blessed with incredible farr.

    Dreams of Precognition C
Dreams of prophecy were frequent in the age of Siyâvash's time. Zahhak, the demon king with snakes upon his shoulders, dreamed of his demise. Afrasiyab, Siyâvash's would-be foe, dreamed of his demise at the prince's hand.
And Siyâvash himself...dreamt of his own.
While not as far and clear as some clairvoyants, and cannot see the futures of others as seers can, Siyâvash has been granted dreams of what he must do...and how he will die by
    his personal skill, Khvarenah
    the blessing of his god.
While this can help him overcome certain obstacles he otherwise might not be able to or learn of threats before they take advantage of surprise, such as his choice to go to exile, this also means that, eventually, he will be aware of how long he will exist in any particular summoning, the closer he gets to his end.
And thanks to his Noble Phantasm...there is nothing he, or anyone else, can do to stop it.
Not that Siyâvash would fight such a fate. If he is fated to die following his beliefs, than it is a fate he will be content with.

    ~The Death of Siyâvash~

But when Afrasiyab received Zangeh and his one hundred kin, the king was filled with sympathy over Siyâvash's unfortunate straits with Kavūs's evil actions, and so sought the advice of Piran, one of his men. Though his suggestion gave him great fear, in the end, the prospect of further good fortune had the king of Turan send Zangeh swiftly back to Siyâvash before he would depart to parts unknown. He told the prince he would welcome him not only to his kingdom, but into his family, and treat him as a father should, when his father wouldn't do so for his honorable actions. Siyâvash was grateful for the shelter, even if his heart was heavy from being barred from his home. He came to Turan, greeted by Piran, then welcomed by Afrasiyab, showing his might and skill with all sorts of hunts and games. All were delighted by his presence...yet still Siyâvash could not settle his heart, his heart missing those he had left. But as Piran spoke of advice to calm and guide him, once again, Siyâvash had dreamed of the future, and knowing he will never return, committed to setting his roots like a cypress tree. He married Farangis, and settled in land within Khotan, both given to him by Afrasiyab. He would love his wife and her in turn, and he would build a capital, Siavashgird, where he love his people and they in turn would love him. It was peace for all...

...but not for Garsivaz. When he was sent by Afrasiyab, who had missed his son-in-law but could not go to him, resenment grew as he saw the shining palace, the illustrious prince, and his respected wife. The Iranian had made himself home in his land, and he would not let that stand. He spoke with the prince with graceful words and a punctilious demeanor, but when he returned to Afrasiyab, he spoke of his with the most shameful of slanders. And the king, with his old fears now fed, asked Garsivaz yet again to deliver a letter and have Siyâvash and Farangis summoned here, asking if they could dine and make merry again; asking why would he scorn him so. But instead Garsivaz made it to Siyâvash that it was his brother who scorned him so in secret, the letter a lure on Siyâvash's good nature. And, as an unfortunate choice of fate, Siyâvash believed the man's tears and pleas, seeing that he wished to save his life. He would send a letter, Garsivaz carrying it once again, and yet again Garsivaz lied to his brother of what transpired, and the fears of old were nourished into a blaze of rage. And as Afrasiyab readied for a war of his brother's doing...

    Siyâvash dreamed of his death.

And he woke with a scream. Farangis, upon revealing what he dreamt, begged him to leave. But he knew he could not. Not only
    Ahura Mazda
    God
willed it so, but he would not stand for running when Afrasiyab could hurt the people in the land his father-in-law had given him. And so, with one final request for his dear black horse,
    Behzad
    Shabrang,
to run when he was downed and only return when his son was grown, Siyâvash and his forces left to meet Afrasiyab. The armies met, lies were spread all the more, and the battle was fierce. But try as Siyâvash's forces might, they were the not the many thousands of warriors he had when he had been prince of Iran. And so the shining prince fell, pierced with spears and arrows, and was dragged back into Siavashgird, bound and bleeding like a mere criminal. Farangis begged for his life, wanting to know who had spread the lies that led to this tragedy, but she too was sent away. Piran gave wise council, wanting him to not kill the prince and trigger war once more, but Afrasiyab would not have it, now consumed by his fear of him. And so two of his man decapitated the prince, and spilled his blood.

And that was the death of Siyâvash.

    ~Noble Phantasm~

"Great God, who rules our earthly state and destiny, bring forth a bough from me that will be like a shining sun to my people, who will seek revenge for my death and renew my ways in my own land..."

    Blood of Siyâvash
    Khune Asyavushan
The cypress tree falls, curse thee who commit the crime

Type: Anti-Unit (Self); Anti Unit; Anti-Curse
    Rank: A

From the moment Siyâvash was born, he was destined to fall before long.
And so as it is once again that, as a Ruler, that Siyâvash will die once again.

A Noble Phantasm crystalizing his death, from the moment he is summoned, it it guaranteed that he will not survive to the end of the War. Unless someone can match the power of fate itself, nothing he, nor anyone else, can do will stop it or extend it. He will die as he will eventually dream of, the closer and closer he gets to that destiny.
But just as when Siyâvash first met death he did not leave with nothing for his people, so too Ruler will not die without leaving something for his Master and any allies they may have.
When Ruler dies, he takes all the pain he endured, the grief his Master and would-be allies would have, and the blessinga of
    Ahura Mazda
    God
places to curse those who have slain him. Mana can no longer be easily absorbed, darkness will shroud their vision, winds and weather will no longer be in their and any allies who are not protected from mental interference will turn against them for slaying a man who did not deserve to be slaughtered, all aimed towards the one, or more, who were cursed.

And a single flower, scarlet red and petals like a crown, will appear in his Master's hand, which, when consumed, will gift them all his Personal Skills, free to be used until their Command Spells are gone...just as Siyâvash left his son, who held his qualities and more, for his wife and his people to avenge him.

For with his death came darkness on their enemies and light for his people.

    ~Siyâvash's Character~
    Personality
To describe Suyavash's demeanor would be describing a great many heroes and shahs across time. A fine warrior capable of wielding many weapons, ride his steed well, and more than a match for many warriors both his strength and stronger, his mind making up for any difference in strength. A good king who treated his people well, that even his slaves weeped for his death, doing all he could to ensure peace for them, even if it meant making choices such as leaving Sudabeh to live. A great general that even warriors who had not trained with him would follow him to the ends of the earth, and that he would crush his enemies with both their numbers and his mind. Those are traits many others had, and even his kindness and his love for his wife, two traits that most distinguised him among his lineage, are nothing unordinary among saints and mores. And in truth, Siyâvash is content with that. If him acheiving his best at being warrior, general, and king, has been done again amd again after, to him it simply means man continues to uphold the beliefs he deems good, and that he manages to continue to practice these virtues even in this life. It is simply his fate. And that is something that pervades his actions the more one knows him. He is a man very conscious of fate, despite how limited his vision into it is. Because for him, fate and destiny are simply extensions of
    Ahura Mazda
    God,
someone he must abide by, and one he follows willingly. This does not mean if something evil happens, and it is a seemingly unsurmountable evil, he will give up. No. That was not how he was taught. In his mind fate is simply the natural conclusion of all the choices you have made, the pieces that make you who you are, that led you to that point. For him, it meant dying trying to good by
    Ahura Mazda
    God
and good for all those around him. And in the end, that is the core of this cypress tree: a man who simply wishes to do good, even if it means he himself will suffer for it.

    Wish
"I have many selfish desires. I wish I could've ruled better. I wish to see my wife again. I wish to meet my son. I wish I could apologize to Rostam for the insults my father has given to him despite what he has done for him. So many desires, for I am still a man. ...but in the end, I wish for a child's dream: may the world be at peace, and man hold each other in warm embraces."

    ~Relationships~

Residents of Chaldea and Records of the ThroneResidents of Chaldea and Records of the Throne

    Iskander
"Ah, Iskander. I hold no grudge against him. Of course, that doesn't mean I won't ignore his misdeeds, but I do not hate him. After all, I am sure my own mistakes are worthy of hate. I am not perfect, despite how I may seem. But first...a drink and a feast for the King of Conquerors! And maybe a few games as well."

    Hephaestion
"...ha, you have been gifted a loyal companion, Iskander. My words mean little to you, and yet still I praise your efforts to help him. Being one's shadow is no easy task."

    Angra Mainyu
"Ahriman! You—wait... You are... ...He is All the World's Evils, and yet, at the same time, he is not. ...I will keep an eye on you, Ahriman. If you are not him, than I apologize, but I will not take my chances."

    Arash
"Oh, the great Arash is here? Ha, my word. We must have a drink and a feast. Thanks to you, we had our border."

    Zenobia
"Ah, Lady Zenobia. May I keep you company? I wish to know you a bit, if you do not mind. But I understand if you are busy or do not want my presence."
(Ruler has bad memories of the dream before his death, where he saw his wife stripped and beaten, and so when he hears of Archer's most infamous annecdote, he cannot help but wish to know her and possibly befriend her)

    Rostam (RoydGolden)
"Teacher! It gladdens me to see you yet again. Come, let us drink and feast before we take to battle! And perhaps we can have some games after."

    Kay Kavus (Salt Pillar)
"...ha. If this was the Kavūs that was my father, the one you see before you would not exist. It is any wonder this isn't my father as I know him, though I see many similarities. Still..."
(As many men do, Ruler still wonders what it would've been like, had this incarnation of Kavūs had been his father...even as he is somewhat confused on how this version of him came to be)

    Siyâvash (Shiki-pon)
"That is myself as a warrior. Not that I am less of a warrior in this form, but if our Noble Phantasm haven't made it clear, that is how I am when I am a general leading the army. This is me leading my people."

    Garshāsp (Morg van Destro)
Ah, Garshāsp. I heard of you from Rostam. It's a pleasure to meet you. Though, ah... I'm probably not much in your eyes, eh? Still...if I am not too much of a bother, I would like to know you, as family of my dear teacher."
(Unsurprisingly, Ruler is unbothered by Berserker's dreadful aura. He simply sees family he wishes to know)

    Artabanus II (Scotcheroos)
"Yes, I heard that, as you put it, 'fangirl squeal', and no, she wouldn't be the first I have heard. I am grateful she is more interested in my deeds than my appearance, unlike the usual case."

Epics Both Grand and HumbleEpics Both Grand and Humble

    Idunn (Anju Addams)
"...I do not know of these trends, but I am more than ammenable to accompaying you and 'being your carry mule'. I am interested to hear of such things."
(Ruler notices how lonely Caster is and is often seen making time for her)

    Lucretius (Morg van Destro)
"There is merit to his thoughts, but there are many things we cannot see that are there. From my time, the will of
    Ahura Mazda
    God,
and in your time, things such as atoms and bacteria. So I hope your scholarly mind will realize that."

    Gunther (Baron von Magnusl
"Pardon my expression, Master, but that man... As much as I understand why he views his life in such a way, I find it hard to sympathize with him despite that. Not when I am reminded of myself and my silver cypress when I hear of Siegfried and Kriemhild's fates..."
(In other words: if Gunther wasn't such a jerk, Ruler might've been friends. But he isn't, so he is just disappointed with him)

    Nīlakēci (Scootcheroos)
"Perhaps if I had been born in her time, I would have been a fellow devotee. I certainly appreciate the tenets that she has preached of her religion. But I am not. I am an adherent of
    Ahura Mazda
    God.
So I hope she realizes that her efforts are fruitless when directed at me. Hmm? Her behavior? I'll admit, I find her amusing. She is almost like a child in her conviction of her disguise, but that also means her passion is sincere. I hope her embarassment over her feat becomes bearable over time. 'Cringe' she might think her work is, she is skilled enough to have made a lasting impression on at least one person. That in itself has meaning, I believe."

    Nimue
"A great power in capable hands. I am glad to see it. All the more that she teaches others in virtue and combat. Her evils, though parted from her in this state, are regretable...but there are few with such levels of sin who can acknowledge their actions, and fewer still that can do little about it. I can only hope as she is now allows her a choice in the matter."

    Maridiata (sutaa)
"...I admit, he reminds me of my son, who I only know through stories. It would be a disservice to think them the same, to both him and my son. Though their paths are well tread, it is their own nevertheless, with different roots and rings and branches. And yet still...I wish to treat him as I would my son. I can only hope he finds no issue with that."

    Borghild (Voikirium)
"I will not condemn her reasons for her crime. Yet still...it is a shame it had to be done at all. The man himself is not stained by evil, not anymore than any other hero. He cares for his family as much as any man should. Yet the circumstances behind his birth... Truly, it is lamentable."

    Asi (Gray)
"Is she destined to remain just a weapon? It is certainly her duty, but for as long as she has a soul...I like to believe it is possible. And when the times comes and she shows it to be true, then her destiny was never to solely be a weapon, just as I am not solely a king. For now...I simply hope our straights are not dire enough that she must release her full power."

    Sawerigading (Ismail2002)
"Master, if I am not needed elsewhere, please allow me to be his chaperone. ...no, it is not purely because he dredges up unpleasant memories. He is an unasssuming threat, but an extremely dangerous one."

    Abhimanyu (OddEyedDuelist)
"His child-like view is both endearing and exasperating. A warrior grown and proven, and yet unable to feel the full weight of the trail left in his wake. Truly, a son to be both proud of and worried for. Arjuna is blessed to have had him, however short their time."
(Of course, while Ruler is very much understanding of the grief of those who lived past Archer's death, there is a small part of him that is still envious of Arjuna, for having the chance to spend any time with son at all)

    Hyacinthus=Cyparissus (WhiteFrenzy)
"It is with outcomes such as this that many wonder of their god's actions. It is hard to remain steadfast in the face of them. But it matters not whether their gods are equal to my own, or mere false idols, I can only hope that I can handle the threat this Servant poses, and grant them the death they desire."

    Branwen (Vance)
    "How dare they...!"
(Ruler takes a deep breath. He opens his eyes, all bloodlust replaced with sadness and geniality)
"Greetings, Lady Branwen. Yes, I realize you are a...'servant', but as a king myself, I know all those under me deserve respect, and I would be a poor king if I do not act as a king should. If it is no trouble, may I assist you in your duties? I always find such chores are easier done in good company."
(Ruler is once again reminded too much of his own wife, beaten to near death. There is a very high likelihood that, should Ruler ever encounter Caster's husband, Matholwch, the cypress's branches will turn into a lion's fangs)

    Sundiata Keita (sutaa)
"A truly great king, the kind I aspire to be. I admit to feel inadequate when compared to him, but that would be a disservice to the people who had faith in me, and to Rostam's teachings to me. There is only one solution to this: speak to him, hear his wisdom, and, I hope, enjoy his company."

    Gun (Scotcheroos)
"Hello, good sir. Might I inquire as to your methods in construction and pottery? I saw some of your work and cannot help but wonder of their maker. Though if you do not wish to speak, I would be honored if I was simply allowed to observe you as you craft."
(Ruler knows words of comfort will do little to ease the guilt. His own from his death and what led to it still linger in pain. So instead, as an attempt at comfort, he offers himself as a companion to talk or keep company with)

    Vortigern (Baron von Magnus)
"If he considers these 'faeries' as the height of beauty, it is little wonder he deems men repulsive. No one man is pure in the way he seeks. Even the godliest of saints are still human, still ever changing. From what I can see of faeries...they are not. It may seem hypocritical of me, as someone whose nature is as steadfast as a cypress tree, but even then I grow just as one, a new ring for each year until the leaves and trunk fall. It is all the more why I shall stand against him, should he dare be hostile."

    Nanabush (Dark Squirrel)
"Hahaha. He is a good fellow, that Nanabush. A free spirit indeed. I enjoy doing my utmost to outsmart his tricks. I like to believe that he finds it also entertaining."
(In other words, he likes figuring out his tricks like one would figure out a puzzle. Entertaining and "stretching mental muscles")

El Çid Ruy Diaz de Bivar (Stillinneverland)
    In response to Saber:
"I thank you for your praise, but I believe I shall take my leave. I have business to attend to."
    About Saber:
"...I understand being adherent to one's faith. I strive to do the same everyday with my god. But he... I wonder if he realizes how he is blinding himself to his faults in this form? Perhaps he does and wishes not to admit it...most of all, to himself. That is the way of Pretenders, is it not?"

    Nikita (Vididii)
"I will admit, if I had the chance, I wouldn't be opposed to a mundane life, as he so wishes. He understands the value in such a thing, the everyday. I wouldn't mind keeping his company, but I doubt he would feel that same considering I am inclined to be the type of the hero he is exasperated by."

Titus Lucretius Carus (Morg van Destro)
"Hmm. 'Tis strange. He is clearly more lucid in this form, and yet...I feel as if he is still the same in the end. A man attempting to teach control of passions, empassioned by the very thing he wishes to teach...perhaps that's what he was all along, even when distorted by the perceptions of men. A lost soul attempting to guide his fellow lost."

    Gaíne mac Lugach (Serra)
"...if you wish some way to vent, I am more than happy to assist. I am nowhere near your incredible level of restraint, but I like to believe I understand the struggle and effort behind it. And I admire that of you. So please, if this prince's services are useful to you, make use of them. Or even if they are not, I'm still willing to oblige."

    ~Craft Essence~
Knawing at the Root of the Cypress Tree
I hate you, father, for ignoring a chance at peace simply because you believed me naïve.
I hate you, Rostam, for leaving me alone, running away in rage after I had hoped you convinced father.
I hate you, Sudabeh, for poisoning father's mind.
I hate you, Afrasiyab, for breaking your promise to treat me well and like a son.
I hate you, Garsivaz, for poisoning your brother's mind against me.
I hate you, all who have beaten my wife and nearly kill my son before he was born.
    I hate you,
    Ahura Mazda
    God,
    for having them suffer so.
    I hate you,
    Ahura Mazda
    God,
for having it happen it again on Earth, with but a few fighting for the Bleached planet.

Siyâvash stared at the writing, panting as he felt his wrath leak out and dissipate. With one more breath, he then sighed, crumpled the paper, and had it burned. As he hoped, his doubts and frustrations were but a low simmer now. Which was good. If he were to do what he wanted, he can't have such thoughts get in his way...as much as he felt justified in feeling them. After all, he was human. A "perfect prince" such as him would still have such emotions. It would be poor caretaking if he did not tend to them as a gardener did to their plants.

And so the prince stood and walked out his quarters in Chaldea, ready to meet destiny once again.

    Author's Notes
Can I just say? Eff you, Garsivaz. Eff you. I don't know why it annoyed me so much, but the entire ordeal of him lying to Siyavâsh and then Afrayanib ticked me off.

Anyways, there you go. That's my version of Siyâvash. I will now do these notes in list form cause my thoughts are chaotic atm.

    • I have mainly read the Dick Davis translation of the Shahnameh as my source, with only realizing that there was a volume 2 of the Warner bros' translation of the Shahnameh, the volume that covered Siyâvash, after I finished the sheet. I use it as reference a little bit, but as far as I can tell, both translations match, though of course the Warner bros' one, being unabridged, has more details, some of which Dick Davis left out, but is mostly fine. I could just wait and reread the entire Siyâvash section of the Warner bros translation...but I'll admit I feel done with the sheet and wanna get back to writing other stuff, while reading the both versions of the Shahnameh at my leisure. So yeah. Not as thorough research as I probably should, but again, I've had had my fill and feel fine with the Dick Davis translation for the most part.
    • The beginning of the sheet is inspired from the Shahnameh itself. Before we get to the story proper, it basically praises several beings and people. Idk why, I just felt like copying it. I directed quoted some of it from the Warner bros' translation (no not that warner brothers) for the first few lines before going off on my own to keep the "intro" short.
    • In the Dick Davis's translation, his name is spelled "Seyavesh". In the Warner Bros, it was "Siyâwash". I decided to go with Siyâvash so that it's easier for anyone else curious about him to search him up, as that is the name of the wikipedia entry. It's the same with all the other names and words and such.
    • Farr is one exception, simply because I like it more than just khvarenah.
    • What's up with God/Ahura Mazda ruby text? God was mentioned MANY times in the Shahnameh. At first I was confused if it was Islam big G or not, especially when Ahriman was mentioned. So that was the compromise.
    • Shout out to this post by Shiki-pon for the faceclaim. I found it by accident when searching for one and it fit the vibe I wanted perfect, specifically the expression.
    • Format is simple because I wanted simple...but also partially inspired by how the translations would "title" their "chapters".
    • Why is he Ruler? I'll admit it started off because I didn't want to make him Rider...cause I mistakenly thought Shiki-pon's Siyâvash was a Rider instead of Lancer, which is ehat it actually was. Either way, while it started like that, in the end I decided to keep it and play with it since mine was going in a different direction anyway. Did it work? I have no idea. I hope it made sense, as his line with the Shiki-pon version showed.
    • The whole precognition thing is something I thought from certain lines making me think that he had some level of precognition. He was certainly more aware of when his end was coming than the others I read up to (at this time of writing, I only read up to a little bit into Manūchehr's story. Well, besides Siyâvash's story of course).
    • The NP was inspired by this line from Dick Davis's translation of the Shahnameh: "A wind rose up, and darkness obscured the sun and moon; people could not see one another’s faces[...]" specifically, it happened after the one who did the actual deed of killing Siyavash spilled his blood. Meanwhile the flower part of the NP is from the Warner bros translation: "Gurwl took up the bowl And emptied it where he had been commanded. From that blood presently there sprang a plant, Which I will teach thee how to recognise, For it is called 'The Blood of Siyawush.'" It is Fritillaria imperialis, for those wondering. The line before it is also directly quoted from the Dick Davis version.
    • I am so annoyed I can't think of a more interesting personality for Siyâvash, or at least a more interesting description of it, besides his opinion on fate, because I just have a feeling it'll seem so...bland, but that's all I could come up with. I'll just have to accept that is the best I can do with the motivation and energy I have...
    • All the cypress tree mentions are because the Shahnameh often likens its good characters to cypresses. I didn't look into it much because I couldn't find good sources from an initial search as to why cypresses were important/common comparison.
    • Yes, I know Zahhak has been added in FGO. No, I didn't write a line since I don't even have a vague idea about what his deal is, unlike Morgan and LB6 characters when I wrote my Ywain sheet before LB6's official English release.

Aaand...think that's it. I might add more later. We'll see.

Anyway here are the sources I used in convenient click list:

Ah, another distant member of Garshāsp's family. Man, if I hadn't already poured through the Shahnameh, I would finally do Rostam. C'est la vie.

Siyâvash (DracoScribe)- I know why he's not a Rider from the Author's Notes but how is he not even eligible for the Class? Also, I feel there's too much Rubies, made worse by the really long one. Otherwise, glad to see another one of your sheets, Draco.

Lucretis: ...idk if im just...still getting back into the swing of things or not, but i just...don't have much thoughts on this guy. Or maybe more accurately, not much in way of feelings on him. I can see it's a good sheet. It doesn't drag when I read, I am engaged as I find out more about how he works as a Servant. I find his skills and NP neat in the the way they explain how they're tied to the figure, as in like, how Love Enhancement is a indicator of his insanity, Innocent Monster warping him because of lack of biographical details, and, well, the NP being the NP. The NP itself, especially after you explained it further after Serru's thoughts/questions on it, is even more interesting, cause it's an NP that seems broken, but if you get to the nitty gritty, there are still ways to ignore it just as it almost ignores reality. Otherwise known as "you best be believin in pirate stories [...]. You're in one". I feel like him and...I think Dark Squirrel's Cyrano might get along. But in terms of actually liking the guy? Yeah sorry...I'm not. Though I wouldn't be surprised if it's like your La Voisin with me all over again. It's just not to my tastes or something like that. So who knows?
also i thought that his fc was silverash fron arknights until i saw the source

...because i am a dumbass that looked at the lancer version and thought "oh, that one doesn't have alt classes listed, so why not i do the same?" Except I realized that means he "shouldn't" be Ruler at all if I followed that, so...thank you for pointing out that dumbass logic. That has now been edited. (Also: GAH I DIDN'T FINISH THE GAESHASP LINE. it is also finished now)
As for the rubies... -looks again- ...yeah i pushed it a bit much, huh? I was just worried with how flowery I was making the skill descriptions that I wouldn't be providing actual useful information on how his abilities work... I'm tempted to at least get rid of most of the ruby text (some key exceptione will be kept), but I don't know if that'd be pushing the gray area of what edits we can do to our sheets...
What do you guys think? To me, it feels like typos, minor yet annoying enough to want to fix, but that could just be me...
Either way, thanks, TQG! I'm glad to hear that after it's been some time since I last made one.

My first entry, from the epic poem Nibelungenlied.

    Power.

In the old days, it was more valuable than gold.

With mere gold, one could wield authority.

However for one, even Kingship was not enough power.

A treasury full of gold, an army at his beck and call, and an entire kingdom to lay claim to.

These were not enough for one man.

    He wanted more.

It was his misfortune to be surrounded by powerful neighbors.

Neighbors whose power he coveted but couldn't take.

That is... until that fateful day.

    When he met that man.

A man he both came to love and loath.

A man he came to hate and admire.

    A man named Siegfried.

    History
    ... Heh!

To think one so unrefined cared about history!

Never you mind. I shall elucidate you on the ancient past peon.

Bask in my radiance as I spare you the details.

To sum my story up in a way commoners would understand, I was granted the right to rule by my former lieges, the Romans. My kingdom was that of novel Burgundy and I ruled with a fair, just hand. I even had a most loyal vassal, grand Hagen. Then, seeking my trecherous sister's hand, blessed Siegfried came to my humble abode.

Being the wondrous brother I was, I did not merely give him her hand in marriage. I feared his wonder was merely fake so I challenged him. A king's ransom and a woman who I knew would provide me with splendid heirs. He not only provided both, he expanded my kingdom! I was so gracious that I named him Hagen's equal. You can imagine how a jealous louse like Hagen felt about that... nonetheless, I had no idea how things were about to turn.

My own wife, barbaric Brunhilde, refused to lay with me... worse, she humiliated me by binding me up! Thankfully, only Siegfried saw and saved me. He then went and cowed Brunhilde, allowing me to finally sleep with her. I was able to sleep, knowing that my line was secured... and then it happened. I lost Siegfried.

I don't know how it began. Brunhilde and Kreimhilde were fueding and my own sister accused her own husband of having an affair with my wife. I was outraged! I thought to banish her for the insult but Hagen... evil, Hagen, suggested cruelty... nessecary cruelty. I realized, as loathe as I am even now to admit it, he was right. No matter what I had to punish with death Siegfried the centerpoint of that conflict.

So... rather than give Siegfried the indignity of endless executions...

I had Hagen leave with him to hunt so that he may die with dignity.... of course the cretin couldn't even accomplish that. He bragged 'Oh, look at me, I killed Siegfried!' to anyone that wouldn't mouth off to Kreimhilde.... even me. I only stayed my tongue because I knew from Brunhilde the fury of a scorned woman.

Oh. She also killed herself shortly after. Turned out she was targeting Siegfried, no not my son, from the start.

So there I was. Sisterless, Brotherless (I'd killed him prior for thoughts of treason), Wifeless, Friendless, and... well at least I had Balmung... or so I thought! Somehow my sister discovered Hagen's cowardice and was so offended she betrayed me for the huns and took Balmung with her....

That war was brutal. It'd have been better if I'd had the riches Siegfried planned to give to me, not her, but Hagen fumbled and threw them in the Rhine by accident. So it was gone. Then, unexpected, my sister invited me to her realm to make amends. Hagen had a stroke of brilliance and attempted to warn me of the truth... but I was too disappointed by him at that point. I knew better than to trust that coward.

So to her realm of Etzelburg I went with Hagen in tow who insisted on coming.

I planned to execute him for treason when I returned. You do not defy the king and live, dammit! Anyway... so he was right. Her men captured me... and she offered to spare me if she attained the gold of Siegfried... and I couldn't do that. Siegfried wanted me to have it, not her! So to protect it I tricked that woman into killed Hagen, because only he knew where it was... and then I tried to trick her into a fake location.

    ....

I dunno what gave it away, but she knew I was lying and threw me bound into a pit of snakes. I tried to use the harp skills I had as a child to use and lived a bit longer but one can only play so well with just fingers and toes.... my death was inevitably tragic because of a vile woman, a cowardly knight, and a brutish queen.

    That's my tragic tale.

Take it to heart, young man... and don't trust women.

    Class Skills
    Magic Resistance
    C

The skill famous among Saber servants.

Gunther never fought any notable mage's in his life. In his story, the sole user of magecraft he encountered was Brunhilde who used raw physical strength to bring him to heel. As such, he has the default rank of Magic Resistance inherent to the class. At this rank, he negates the effects of D-rank spells unless they are Greater Magecraft.

Then he is powerless before them.

    Riding
    E

A skill Saber's have as part of their container.

Gunther is completely meritless in this regard. He only has anecdotes of riding great distances but it is never stated as anything exception. If anything, his skill is rather mundane. As such he can only ride horses with great skill and nothing else... rather, anything else requires the same amount of work and training as any other mortal in his position.

    Personality
There are many ways to describe Gunther's personality.

Yet the most apt is covetous Narcissist.

Whenever someone had something, he wanted it and he never accepted blame for how he got it.

Siegfried wanted a wife and picked Kreimhilde, his sister. He grew jealous. In addition to testing Siegfried, he demanded his help in acquiring a wife of his own. Not for the betterment of his kingdom, not to secure his line, whatever he might claim. He simply wanted a wife because someone who was his equal had one.

After the death of Siegfried he did not lament the loss of his one true love; he immediately coveted their gold and treasures and secured them. It was only happenstance that they were lost. Happenstance he attributes to being Hagen's ineptitude. He lays the blame for losing them to Hagen and the loss of Siegfried his beloved to Kreimhilde.

No matter the situation when he loses something or someone suffers he takes no blame and assigns it to someone else; He then covets and takes whatever they had. As a servant, he has not changed one iota. In fact, he is worse now. In life he had tame views of woman. He at least acknowledge them as beautiful and worth admiration.

Now he views them as objects of hate, vile, spite, and treachery and treats them as such.

Now, in death, he has not one nice thing to say about them.

He makes sure it is known any chance he gets.

    Personal Skills
    Charisma
    B--

A skill for King's of particular renown.

Despite his rather lackluster career, the fact is that in most tellings he's never directly accused of being responsible... despite the reality that in fact he was responsible. This is because on some level he has genuine charisma befitting a King. It only suffers now because of his fall from grace, a fact he cannot escape from.

At his rank, he commands the respect and admiration expected of a King. He can immediately boost the morale of allies while domoralizing his enemies. It also nullifies the effects of Emergency Perogative of B-rank.... at least, so long as his enemy is not a woman and his identity is not known.

Then, this skill becomes much weaker and only E-rank Emergency Perogative can be nullified and he can, at most, command the loyalty of a few individuals.

    Harp of Healing
    D+

The one genuine talent he held in life.

As a child, he enjoyed playing the harp. It was his favorite pasttime. He had genuine talent in it as well. Had fate aligned differently, he might've been an excellent bard as he had a fine voice to match. Yet, it was not to be. The duties of kingship demanded time away from the harp and eventually it became a distant memory... a memory that extended his life by many hours in his greatest time of need. Had fates aligned differently, perhaps it would have saved him.

Unfortunately, Kreimhilde was nothing if not thorough. No salvation ever came.

At his particular rank, he an easily sway the hearts of others with his harp playing. Even the animals under control under Riders will be soothed and made gentle so long as he strums the strings of his harp. So long as his hands and feet are free, he has a plus modifier that elevates this skill to its heights. Even the mighty Dragons of legend will entertain his music for as long as he plays.

    Balmung
    A

The sword of legend within the annals of the Nibelungenlied.

It was originally Siegfried's signature weapon. While not the sole reason for his might, it played a significant role in it. Power that Gunther craved. After he had Siegfried killed, he briefly claimed ownership of it; justifying the act as for the glory of Burgundy. This ownership, while brief, granted him access to it. However, due to the circumstances he cannot properly use it relegating to the status of being merely his weapon and a skill.

He cannot access any of it's special features nor the True Ether locked within its hidden gem.

Gunther can only utilize it as a weapon. Yet it is an Anti-Dragon weapon allowing him to, however briefly, gain a conceptual advantage against any Dragonkind he might encounter. This effectively acts as a plus modifier for his parameters while in the presence of Dragonkind.

    Interactions
    Siegfried
Seigfried, oh Siegfried.... be still, my beating heart!

Kreimhilde, the traitorous sow.... how dare she be greater than me! I will show her... and everyone that I am the rightful ruler of Burgundy! That I am the greatest of the nation! Not her! Never her!

    Brynhildr
Begone, foul wench! You are not my wife, but you might as well be you brute! Begone from my sight at once!

    Praetorian Guard
Bah! I cannot even trust my subjects!? Foul! Truly foul, you wenches!

    Arminius
......... IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ME! I SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE ONE TO CONQUER ROME! ME! ME! MEEEEEEEE!

    Agamemnon
... I can understand. It's so hard to find good help, no? Sure, some might be clever or strong.... but the kind that do what you ask, as you ask, and have the strength to carry through.... yes, though are a rare breed indeed, no~?

    Francis I
.... art? Art? ART!? Art doesn't matter to a kingdom, ONLY GOLD! A KING WHO DOES NOT UNDERSTAND THAT IS NO KING AT ALL!

    Noble Phantasm

Hahaha! What will you do now, Fools!? Let the Rhine claim what is rightfully mine!

    Seizure of the Hoard
    Leugnung des Rheins

    Type
    Anti-Treasure

    Rank
    C+

After the death of Siegfried, he seized the hoard and treasures of Siegfried.

He claimed, then, that he was for Kreimhilde's sake. In truth, he was plotting to deprive her of them. First he gave Balmung to Hagen, claiming he was Siegfried's best friend and deserved it. In truth, he had a vow from Hagen to hand it over whenever he needed it most. Then he arranged for Hagen to transport the hoard to Kreimhilde.... and arranged for an accident to send it into the Rhine.

This legend has became his greatest weapon; a denial to one's own treasures.

Innately, it only grants him minor protections against treasure-based Noble Phantasms. That is to say, any noble phantasm based on techniques such as Tsubame Gaeshi, would be immune to this effect. Even then, this usually only manifests as a single rank down to the noble phantasm. He will still be annihilated by an Anti-Fortress A-rank noble phantasm. He might, however, survive a D-rank Anti-Unit noble phantasm.

Yet its true power is when he unleashes its true name.

By calling out its true name with Balmung drawn, an act that occurs quickly, he summons the waters that claimed Kreimhilde's inheritence. Any noble phantasm touched by the waters immediately become sealed. They cannot even be drawn as simple weapons nevermind unleashing their true names. Even a noble phantasm with no name or one that does not require its true name being spoken will become useless. Only if a weapon is already drawn is it not useless though it becomes a hunk of metal in a servants hand.

This effect is not quite permenant but upkeeping the seal is easy with a proper master.

It simply doubles his upkeep cost after the initial use.

However this does not seal associated techniques. A noble phantasm such as Gae Bolg would still be usuable as its a technique inherit to Cu Chulainn; not to Gae Bolg itself. Only its thrown Anti-Army aspect would be sealed away as that is inherit to the spear. The same applies to other techniques that equal Noble Phantasms; they would be fully unaffected by this effect.

In the case of Siegfried, Kreimhilde, and Hagen however the effects are permenant even if he refuses to pay the upkeep costs. Rather, their mystery is entirely stripped away from the moment the waters of the rhine touches them. Further, any skills related to Golden Rule are entirely sealed.

    Craft Essence

    Siegfried

    Siegfried.

He came to my kingdom and laid it to waste.

He slept with my wife and with my sister.

He is the father of what should have been my child.

    Yet... I hold him blameless.

    Because I loved him, once.

    Even now, I suppose...

Though whether that is me coping with my losses or simply the truth I'll never know.

All I know is that Siegfried was my salvation and he was ripped away from me by two covetous woman.

I wish I had enjoyed his company while I had the chance.

Ordinarily there would be a nice, probably somewhat mediocre intro section here to shine some light on the Servant but I am currently fighting a cold, mental fatigue and persistent headaches so I'm just gonna get straight to the point this time, sorry.

"Servant, Ruler. My name is Nīlakēci, orator of the Jain faith. Apologies if you wished to summon a combat capable Servant, I am a pacifist of sorts. B-But I assure you, I'm more than capable outside of combat! I'm sure that with enough time, all will understand the beauty of Jainism, mhm mhm!"

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Class: Ruler

    Other Eligible Classes: Caster, Watcher

    True Name: Nīlakēci

Aliases: Nīli, The Blue-Haired Preacher, Forgotten River Deity

    Alignment: Neutral Evil

    Attribute: Earth

    Origin: The Nīlakēci epic

    Region: Panchala Kingdom, India

    Height: 5'2/157.5cm

    Weight: 132lbs/60kg

Traits: Female, Humanoid, Hominidae, Servant, Feminine Looking, Divine, Weak to Enuma Elish

Catalyst: The original manuscript of the Nīlakēci epic

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Talents: Debate, philosophical discourse, acting as a mouthpiece for Jainism, oratory incitement, party tricks

Natural Enemies: Gautama Buddha, Kali, PETA

Likes: Jainism, haircare, veganism, verbal debates, fruit pies, berry tarts, Jain shikanji

Dislikes: Buddhism, curly hair, nonsensical questions and answers, PETA, meat pies, fig tarts, wine

Personality: Confident, self-spoken and smug to the point of near-arrogance, Ruler feels less like an arbiter and more like a very enthusiastic child who's possibly power drunk. With a somewhat self-absorbed demeanor and a gait that suggests that she thinks she's the best thing to ever happen since bread, Ruler acts nothing like the holy figure her epic makes her out to be. She still exercises her Jainism, yes, and she adheres to the rigorous requirements that come with her status as a Jain nun, but her behavior overall feels more....relaxed. Loosened, really. You can't tell if that's despite or because of her inflated ego at this point.

But that doesn't mean she's useless. If anything, she's overspecialized in matters of arbitration and de-escalation. Surprisingly extremely skilled with her tongue and charismatic to a frankly unnatural degree, Ruler is the go-to for resolving arguments and calming rising tensions. For someone as arrogant as her, she belies a hidden vast intelligence that surfaces whenever she requires it....or maybe she's trying to hide her intellect, like a dagger meant to be unsheathed only should you have no other choice. You know, for someone who's supposed to be an idealized figure of the premier nonviolence faith, she's surprisingly sneaky if she needs to be.

Wish for the Grail: "As a Ruler, you should know that I don't possess a wish for the Holy Grail in the first place. Besides, even if I did have one, I wouldn't want an easy way out handed to me on a silver platter! You're underestimating the prowess of the nun who could outspeak Buddha, hahaha!"

    ParametersParameters:

Bond DefaultThe protagonist of the Nīlakēci epic, and a nun going by the same name. Her tale is classified as one of the Ainchirukappiyangal, or the Five Minor Epics, of Tamil Literature and was said to be one of the more historically significant works of the Tamil despite it's lesser status. Instead of acting as....whatever passed for a literary masterpiece back then, these epics provided vital context and information to the lifestyles and cultures of the Tamil, allowing historians to paint a better picture of civilization at the time. To a certain extent, of course.

A smooth-talking priestess with a golden tongue, her skills lie not in commanding armies and fighting evil but in persuasion and morale boosting. If anything, she's like a living incarnation of the Incite Skill. It's easy to get swept up in her words and end up agreeing with everything she says, whether you follow through on what she tells you to do or not. Even so, her smug personality and her perpetual 'head empty' behavior do hamper her efforts and it's basically a daily routine to try to curb her overinflated ego before it ends up causing major problems for you. If you think about it, the closest thing you can come up with is that she's a 'top-selling saleswoman in a company who let it get to her head'.

....You should totally bully her a bit.

"H-Hey! Don't you dare bully me! I'm a very useful Servant and, and an even better goddess-slash-nun! You should treat me with respect and, and maybe pamper me a tiny bit! >:C"

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bond 1When Jainism was a rising star of the in turmoil as Jain protestors religions of India and began to form a third faction in the ongoing theosophical struggle between Buddhism and Hinduism, a temple in the Kingdom of Panchala was currently in turmoil. The influential Jain figures of the kingdom were using their political power to bar animal sacrifices from the temples under their domain. While many temples were not under duress as the sacrifices were optional at best for them, this particular temple was in dire straits. You see, this temple was one dedicated solely to Kali. And Kali was pissed when she learned that their hands were tied and they could no longer dedicate any sacrifices in her name.

To loosen the Jain influence on the kingdom and, at the very least, try to restart the sacrifices in the temples again, Kali reached out to a local river goddess by the name of Nīli, tasking her to hunt down, seduce and ultimately ruin a central figure of the Jain's influence: a monk and the new head of religious affairs for the kingdom named Chandra. Disguising herself as a private dancer and entering the palace under this human facade, Nīli easily found Chandra and began her work in seducing him.

She promptly got immediately OHKO'd by him telling her 'stop lying' and asked (read: begged) for lectures into the Jain cosmology and faith so she could look deeper into the lectures for herself.

Maybe she looked a bit too deep, because at some point she started to believe the Jainist lectures while studying, and eventually renounced her status as a Hindu deity to convert to Jainism as a simple nomadic nun. Renamed Nīlakēci for her beautiful sea-blue hair by the monk and abandoning her divine duties, she would leave the kingdom to travel India on her quest to learn both of Jainism and other Indian religions.

....And the temple ended up exploding or something thanks to Kali's resulting tantrum, and the river Nīlakēci used to oversee was in turmoil for a good while. But fuck 'em, I guess, the epic doesn't really go into what happened afterwards.

"What happened to the temple afterwards? Th-That, um, uh, I heard that Kali had....done something in her rage. The priests and acolytes there were fine and converted to Jainism afterwards! The temple did collapse, but that just meant they could rebuild it into a Jain shrine afterwards! Yup yup! Another undeniable victory for Jainism, hehe!"

    Bond 2Class Skills:

    Magic Resistance A

A Class Skill of the Ruler Class, denoting the ability to cancel spells and magical effects altogether. At Rank A, this Skill can cancel spells of A-Rank or below, no matter what greater magecraft it is. Essentially, there is no modern magus capable of harming this Servant whatsoever.

As a goddess, even converted and left outside her initial faith, Ruler is capable of outright ignoring and negating the effects of all modern Magecraft and spells. However, older spells from the Age of Gods are still capable of harming her.

    True Name Discernment C

A Class Skill of the Ruler Class, denoting the ability to instantaneously see and comprehend status information such as one's identity, Skills and Parameters when directly encountering a Servant. At C-Rank, one's identity and Skills are immediately revealed, but their Parameters may remain obscured or fall within a rough estimate.

On the basis of a 'verbal discourse' following her legend, she is capable of understanding a Servant's identity, and thus their arsenal and skillset. However, because this runs off of the foundation of a 'debate', the Parameters are dubbed to be less important and may be incorrectly identified as this are ignored in terms of verbality.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Bond 3Personal Skills:

Divine Core of the Goddess B

A Skill representing the status of being a perfected river deity from birth. Given Ruler's origins as a local minor deity, a former apsara turned to divine status through legend and worship, this Skill was originally supposed to be Divinity, but the predisposition of a water spirit combining with her newfound status as a minor water deity has created a genuine Divine Core in Ruler's Saint Graph. Though it's an imperfect and possibly incomplete Core, it's still leaps and bounds ahead of mere Divinity. Truly a sign of good fortune.

    Rhetoric A+

A Skill denoting prowess with speeches and discourse, whether it be through verbal speech or written word. It is a Skill that easily drives people towards 'belief' and 'agreement'.

As a nun and preacher extolling the virtues of Jainism, Ruler is skilled in gathering the attention of the masses and converting large swathes of people under the faith of Jainism. When used on an individual, her words act as a mental attack to gather one's attention and agreement the longer she speaks. A Resistance Check can be made to escape the effects of such, however, and it seems that this Skill will explicitly not work against those of the Buddhist faith. Gains a plus modifier when used in topics of religion.

    Logos Deconstruction A+

A Skill denoting the ability to take apart, examine and debunk other peoples' reasoning and rhetoric, allowing for the user to easily win verbal discourses. While exclusively verbal, this Skill can be used to defuse tensions and de-escalate rampant emotions and arguments, making it surprisingly useful for a Servant meant to act as an arbiter like Ruler is.

In her epic, Ruler was so skilled at debate that she was able to argue against and ultimately defeat several famed Indian scholars, philosophers and rhetoricians. This impressive list included erudites studied in the Cārvāka school, students and teachers from all six orthodox Āstika schools of Indian philosophy, and even Buddhist monks and sages, culminating in her defeating Buddha himself and his closest disciples in a verbal debate discussing the values of Buddhism. So long as she can make sense of and process the responses and arguments of the opponent, she can easily refute their words and win. Useless in combat but invaluable in gathering allies. This Skill also works in tandem with Rhetoric to perfect synergy. Gains a plus modifier when used for religious topics.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bond 4While travelling India, Nīlakēci would encounter other religious nomads and preachers on her journey. Some were fellow Jains who wished to share their own ruminations and experiences with a newer member of the faith. Mot of the time, however, those nomads turned out to be ascetics and rhetoricians of a different religion, on their own personal pilgrimages.

The reason behind it is unknown. Perhaps they simply wished for a fruitful and peaceful discourse. Perhaps some manner of disagreement arises that snowballs into a discourse. Perhaps Nīlakēci intentionally wanted to debate people to assert Jainism's superiority. Honestly, it's probably that last one, given the epic's polemic nature. Regardless, Nīlakēci ends up beginning discourses and debates with said nomads, often with an inexplicable audience watching. From Kuṇṭalakēci, the female protagonist of the epic this very work was written in response to, escalating to engaging in debates with two of the Buddha's closest and most loyal disciples and even Siddhartha Gautama himself, Nīlakēci handily wins the debates and dismantles the foundation of Buddhism with her 'fax and logics' before leaving to travel the country more.

Moving throughout the cities and countryside, Nīlakēci would go on to defeat devout nuns and monks of other schools of Indian philosophy and religion, including the Ajivaka and Samkhya schools of thought, Hinduism and the Vedic faiths, and the ancient school of Lokāyata. With each victory, the epic claims that her opponents realize the error of their ways and either make concessions or renounce their faith to become a Jain. Nīlakēci's story would suddenly and unceremoniously end upon her victory over Lokāyata, with the implications that she goes on to debate smaller schools, or simply live out the rest of her days in pious faith.

....That doesn't make sense. That's it? That's everything there is on the woman who was rumored to out-debate Buddha? No, it feels like there's more to her than she's letting on. If you just dig a tiny bit deeper, move some stuff here and there....

"Huh? Hey, wait! Don't touch that! Put that down! No, d-don't move that away!"

You can see it. Underneath the story of Nīlakēci the nun, something just barely peeks out from behind. If you just slowly, methodically peel the story back to see what it says...

"Stay away from there! Stop trying to dig deeper!"

Right as the story begins to unravel, there's a subtle yet noticeable shift in Nīlakēci's Spirit Origin. If you go check the status update now you'd see-

Class Skill Update: Magic Resistace A --> Magic Resistance E

Personal Skill Update: Divine Core of the Goddess B --> Divinity D-

Personal Skill Update: Rhetoric A+ --> Rhetoric (False) C+

Personal Skill Update: Logos Deconstruction A+ --> Logos Deconstruction C+

    "Wah! Waaaaaah!"

Error to Spirit Origin Found. Revising Saint Graph.

    Class: Pretender

    True Name Overwriting: Nīli

    .....wut.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Bond 5Noble Phantasms:

    Blue-Haired Ideality
    Nīlakēci

    Rank: A
    Classification: Anti-Unit (Self), Anti-World
    Range: 0
    Maximum Targets: Nīli

....The Noble Phantasm of the author Nīli, and her main qualification in the Pretender Class in the first place. This is the culmination of her spiteful work. The crystallization of the polemic epic Pretender had written in life superimposed onto her very being. In response to the creation of 'Kuṇṭalakēci' or the 'Curly-Haired Woman, an unknown author would proceed to write 'Nīlakēci', or the 'Blue-Haired Woman', featuring the titular named woman not only humiliating Kuṇṭalakēci in a public debate in front of a royal audience, but also traversing India, handily defeating other religious figures in debates and extolling Jainism's existence for all to see. From Buddhism to Hinduism and everything in between, no one could refute her words, nor could they deny the truth she spoke.

Her previous status was the leader of India's minor deities, gods and goddesses alike. Her victories came easily, decisively and almost anti-climatically most of the time. And all who she triumphed over would always admit to Jainism's superiority with little to no effort. In other words.....she was a complete and utter Mary Sue. She was a Mary Sue before the concept of a Mary Sue even existed. Hell, she might be the first example of a Mary Sue in human history.

A complete passive Noble Phantasm, this superimposes the image of 'Nīlakēci the character' over her Spirit Origin and forcibly brings her to her idealized self. The manifestation of a conceptual disguise convincing enough to fool even the World indefinitely, though that doesn't mean it's perfect. As her character was primarily an orator and speaker, Nīlakēci gains no boost to her combat capabilities and would be useless in a fight. In addition to this, were someone to manage to dig through the miniscule cracks in her facade and unveil her true identity, her disguise would immediately collapse to near-nothingness. The only reason why it isn't completely rendered null is because the character being based off of her actual self allows for it to be tangentially tethered to her Spirit Origin even then, granting her a small measure of what is basically her OC's capabilities.

    sniffle

    sniffle sniffle

    "Uuuuuuuuuuuu....."

    ...Uuuuuuuuhhhh....sorry?

    "Uuuuuuuuuuuu....."

I can try to put the disguise back up, boost your Skills to how they were before, if you want?

"It was a one-time deal! Once the disguise drops it's staying off for the rest of this manifestation! I couldn't reactivate my Noble Phantasm unless I got a Command Spell or something! Why did you go digging like that, you jerk?!"

Hey, in my defense, you made it super easy to think something was wrong! Literally no other Servant here got off as idealized as you, and we have Gilgamesh and Heracles chilling around! You might as well have been waving around a sign that said 'really suspicious, please look deeper here!'

"I, you, y-you.....! J-Just keep writing the sheet, sheet writer!"

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bond ExtraIt's the 10th century. The Tamil people in India are currently at odds with one another in a theological cold war of sorts, with religious tensions at an all-time high and civil disputes erupting over the pettiest of reasons. The authority figures of India could do nothing worthwhile to stem the conflict, for the root source of it all were the clashing ideas of Jianism, Hinduism and Buddhism, and ideas were notoriously hard to put down. Thus, they could only mitigate the damage as best they could and hope that the conflict would de-escalate on it's own.

During these turbulent years, a literary epic was published by Nathakuthanaar, a Buddhist elder and former merchant who dabbled in writing and wished to extol the views of the Buddhist faith to those willing to read his work. It was called 'Kuṇṭalakēci' and in the future it would be revered as one of the Five Great Epics, one of the five most masterful literary works, of the Tamilar. Perhaps it was an innocent desire to simply extol his beloved faith to the people. Perhaps there was a hidden desire to debase the other faiths by distorting them into their absolutely worst traits alone. Perhaps it was a polemic work meant to invite debate, argument and controversy.

What is known is that it sparked yet another wave of religious tension and backlash, with people taking sides for and against the epic's message. And within the masses of those who were incensed by the epic's existence, an unknown author would self-publish Nīlakēci in response. A caricature of Kuṇṭalakēci, mocking Buddhism by twisting the figures within into incompetent fools and turning the protagonist into a universally lauded figure who acted like a parody of Kuṇṭalakēci. It was a blatant provocation. A shot at the Buddhism as a whole, meant to incite and rage. Simply put, it was a spitefic, and it was very effective.

The author would vanish into obscurity some time later, but Nīlakēci was elevated to the position of one of the Five Minor Epics of Tamil literature, at the time of publishing a legitimate source of argument against Buddhism's virtues even if it came at the cost of overly extolling Jianism, providing instrumental in the partial restoration of Kuṇṭalakēci when the epic's original text was lost to time, and still currently seen today as one of the top 10 Tamil pieces of literature in history. A work that long survived past the reputation of it's now-forgotten author.

....You look strangely ashamed of the epic becoming so famous, you know.

"I didn't think it would actually get this popular. Uuuuuuuurgh. Just reading this cringefest, knowing it became famous and is the literal reason behind my continued existence in the Throne makes me die a little on the inside...."

It's, it's not that bad right? It really doesn't sound that bad though.

"Imagine if someone wrote a gay fic about Jesus on your computer, then woke up the next day to find out that your fic had ended up in the Bible. That's what my work becoming one of the Five Minor Epics feels like!"

That.....oh. Oh dear. I'm so sorry you have to go through that.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

RelationshipsKama: "A universal love, a universe of nothing but love....to reject that feels wrong on the very basis of my faith, but I can't blame you. Knowing what Shiva's fire is doing to you even now, I can't rightfully endorse your suffering like this....

"A-Ah! I mean, uh, hahaha! Hinduism fails to treat even their own deities properly! Clearly another victory for Jainism, ohohohohoho!.....Hey, what's with that look? Come on, I'm doing my best here."

Karna: "To tote Charity to such an extent that it has become a very part of your being, in a way....yes, the embodiment of a virtue like you was a truly kind soul. And yet....the stain of primal violence, the terrible smell of war still lingers around you. Forgive me, I need a bit of time to process this..."

Arjuna: "Objectively? The pursuit of perfection is an inherently doomed chase, but it is beautiful nonetheless. Personally? I really, really think he needs to loosen up every once in a while. Yeesh, you'd have a better chance at crumbling a boulder with your bare hands than sitting him down and sharing a meal with him."

Vritra: "Surprisingly, she's far calmer than I thought she would be. A bit lenient too. Part of me thinks she's plotting something, though....Eh, I'll just stay optimistic and hope she's just cool with me taking the piss out of Hinduism.

".....Nobody heard me, right? I still have an image to uphold around here, you know!"

Aśvatthāman: "Rage itself is not a sin. Anger for the sake of somebody else is most assuredly a virtue in and of itself. It is when one loses themselves in that anger and lashes out indiscriminately that it becomes a vice. I have no quarrel with your anger, so long as you do well to keep it reined in.

"....Or anger management classes. That works too."

    Rama: "Ooooooh.....bananas......"

Surprisingly enough, Pretender has bonded with Rama over their mutual love for bananas. Partially because they're one of the few things she can unconditionally enjoy and partially because he's managed to adhere to her faith and taught her how to bake some vegan banana tarts to her liking. Honestly, you thought they would be at each other's throats or something.

Ganesha: The two get along well together, and you can often find Jina-er, I mean Ganesha, cackling at Nila while the latter is trying and failing her way through video games. It's a surprisinglu common sight. Maybe Ganesha's trying to turn her into a gamer.

Parvati: "Thankfully Kama kept my admittedly shallow trash talk about Shiva from Parvati so she isn't on the warpath for me yet, but I'm keeping my distance from her for now. If she knew what I wrote about Kali in my book....well, she'll probably be okay with it but I don't want Kali finding out through her!"

Any Buddhist Servant: "....and that's why Jainism as a religion embodies the ideal of 'love' far better than Buddhism can."

You find Pretender huffing smugly at the current Buddhist with an aura that screams 'I am objectively better than you'. You swear you can see the air sparkling around her from her superiority, while the current Buddhist being lectured is shooting her an unimpressed deadpan face. Yes, even Sanzang is unimpressed.

Ajita: "Maitreya? That sounds pretty cringe. Jainism is where it's at, you know. We're all stuck on the cycle ofMr. Samsara's Wild Ride and there's no real exit, so the best we can do is accumulate positive karma, and reincarnate into a life of true peace and understanding. To that end, universal lvoe across all lives, good and evil, are paramount to the cycle aaaand you probably think this just sounds like Buddhism, don't you....?"

Kukai: "Back! Back, foul devil from beyond the realms! Your snake oil sales pitch isn't fooling anyone here! I can practically smell the otherworldly evil wafting off of you!"

Mononobe-no-Moriya: "Hmmmmm? Didn't I....no, you seemed familiar is all. Now, what is an incarnation of Mara like you doing in my room? Don't tell me you're going to try your hand at tempting me like you tried to do with that Gautama guy."

Lavana: "Wah! Waaaaaaaaaah! Master, hide me! That Lavana girl, she's trying to kill me with that trident of hers! I didn't even do anything, I just sat at a random seat in the cafeteria for lunch and then she said something about me 'defiling her chosen spot'! Help meeeeeeee!"

Ravana: "I dunno why he's so interested in me but he took one look and started muttering about 'realized idealization' and 'a self-made demigod'. He's, he's not going to want to fight me, is he? I'm just a writer, I don't know the first thing about fighting!"

Wonhyo: For a staunch defender of Jainism who's very existence is meant to act as a dagger towards Buddhism, she seems to be having a lot of fun dancing around with Wonhyo. Maybe there's hope for reconciliation yet.

On another note, holy shit, Pretender's really good at dancing.

Yellowbrow: "Now now, there's no need to be so forceful~ As a gift for you accepting me into your.....'esteemed' monastery, I bought a gift as thanks for you! I've heard that this is actually customary to do in Japan so I aped the tradition from them a bit......so. How do you feel about.....watermelons?"

You later see her cackling at the top of her lungs while sprinting away from a cursing Yellowbrow, stopping only to occasionally taunt him smugly. You know, this might be one of the few times you approve of her antics.

Yudhishthira: "Ah, eheheheheh....I recognize him. After I died, surprisingly enough I temporarily fell under his umbrella when it came to the afterlife before I returned to the reincarnation cycle. I didn't sin at all but he kept glaring daggers at me the entire time. I think he read my book...."

Menrva: ".....I got nothing bad, honestly. She's trying to guide humanity towards an enlightenment she can't even begin to touch for no reason other than to help. I couldn't even begin to understand the monumental task she's undertaken out of nothing but her own good will. So.....thank you. For trying t guide us towards a world free of suffering. Thank you."

Ksitigarbha: ".....Eh. H-Hey there, ma'am. You, uh, you seem kinda.....a=mad at me-EEP! Wawawawawait-hya!~"

I think Pretender is possibly one of the few people that could manage to even anger a Saver....somehow. Ksitigrabha doesn't seem to react much to her presence, but the way her brows furrow and the twitching vein in her forehead speaks volumes to her anger at Nīli. In other news, Ksitigrabha seems to have bent Nīli over and is spanking her.....aaaaaaand turns out Nīli's got a spanking kink.

Kanthaka: "Guh. What is it with Servants being connected to Buddha and being really nice? I mean, I get why, but also why couldn't you have been at least a tiny bit cruel?! Now I feel even more ashamed of my book....uuuuuuu..."

Kalki: "Wh-no, of course not! I don't care if it's your job, I very much like living as is! Back! Back, I say!"

Kali: "Gegh. Master, please hide me. I know Kali probably doesn't know who I am, but the thought of her finding out and hunting me down after she learns what I wrote about her still terrifies me. Wait, what's that Kalki guy saying to her......Wagh! Nooooo, I don't wanna die!"

Siddhartha Gautama: "Wait, you.....actually want to debate? As in, we sit down and talk things out? I honestly didn't think you would be willing to give me a chance like this. Goes to show what I know huh? Please, sit. I can't guarantee I'll be any good with speaking now that my disguise's been unveiled but I can at least give it a shot. So, what exactly do you have in mind when you say you wish to debate?"

Related DialogueKama: "She's a bit pathetic and pitiable even when she tries to keep that strong front of hers up....in other words, she's exactly the kind of person I love to tease. Now, I wonder what her ideal type would be.....huhuhuhuhuhu....."

Karna: "The blue-haired woman, hm? I admit, it is somewhat shocking to have heard of how brazen authors have grown in the passing of the gods. The fact that she had written of a representative of herself betraying Kali so blatantly would have been tantamount to sacrilege back then. And yet, even then the fact that her epic survived to become a literary gem speaks of her skill in the written word. Perhaps I'll give it a look later on."

Vlitra: "Kiheeheeheeeeee! She's just the type of human I love messing with! The kind who'll scream and flail about aimlessly but always managing to push through in the most critical moment!~ Hmmmm....I hear she's taking writing commissions to keep herself from getting rusty. Maybe if an anonymous Servant were to send in a reeeeeeally hard prompt for her to use......kiheehee...~"

Rama: "I don't hold it against her. Her writing her epic, I mean. If I were to take every single slight against against Vishnu to heart, I might lose decades trying to categorize them as is, haha! Though, to be as bold as to downgrade the gods in such a manner...I'm surprised some of my more anger-prone countrymen haven't confronted her over this yet."

Ganesha: "Wait, what the-HOW DID YOU FRAG ME FROM THERE?! Hax! I'm calling hax!"

...As you can see, their friendship is running strong. Apparently they even do gaming streams together under the Servantube handle 'BluWall'. You should totally check them out, there's a lotta rage moments. It's great.

Parvati: "She said what about Lord Shiva?! I think I need to go have a word with her."

Sanzang: "I won't lie, I'm still unimpressed by her sermon, but she's really good with her words. You said her Rhetoric came with a 'false' modifier? So she's just that good with talking, huh...?"

Hōzōin Inshun: "So this is what they mean when they say 'the pen is mightier than the sword', huh?"

Nezha: "Unknown author. But famous book. Still mad. For disrespecting. Buddha."

Tawara Touta: "She might have written that epic, but in the end it was a response to another work someone had written speecifically to anger Jainists. I won't blame her for getting angry. If anything, she's really friendly once she drops the front! You have no idea how in awe she seemed when I told her she could top her rice with toasted sesame seeds and shredded nori."

Kali: "Nīlakēci.....Thou art a writer, yes? Cease hiding and come out, and I may have mercy on thee~ I simply require you to write an epic speaking of Lord Shiva's praises, then to offer your blood in penance~ So come out, before I make it all the more painful for thee!"

Looks like Parvati told Kali after all. Pretender's currently huddled under your blankets whimpering in terror.

Siddhartha Gautama: "Truthfully, I did not think that my achievement in escaping the cycle of suffering would be conflated to such incredible proportions. My life of asceticism and meditation under the bodhi tree was meant to be my own personal quest to understand enlightenment....and yet. In the passing years, my efforts have been used by corrupt monks and warmongers to justify their own evils. I am ashamed, from the bottom of my heart, to know of such cruel follies.

"That is why I asked to speak with her. My roots are still in that of humanity, and one of the greatest facets of humans is that they, we, are imperfect by default. It is those imperfections that allow us to understand enlightmentand work towards salvation, but each path towards thus differs per human. Perhaps I wished to hear what flaws I had held during my journey towards Nirvana. Perhaps I had hoped that learning such could help me guide others towards Nirvana myself. If anything....it was a talk most informative."

    Bond FinalA Better Someone

"I wrote that epic out of anger. I didn't think it would be so famous, really. I just wrote on a whim pushed by blind rage. I knew my name would never survive history's relentless march. Even now I'm just riding off of an alias, a moniker that doesn't belong to me. I didn't think anything would even make it past the first ten years, haha!

"....I'm glad. That at least one work lived to see the light of the modern world. I may not have much to my name, but I can gather this one shining star and say to myself, 'Yes. This is my feat. It may not be large, and it may not be grand, but this is my feat nonetheless.'"

Hmmm, so I've been working on another Servant, and, having almost finished, realised it might fit. I dunno though, would you all consider Arthurian legend to fit the Epic Poem theme? A lot of lore comes from Arthurian poems after all.

...maybe? Depending on the work? I know The Faerie Queene is an epic poem but that is only really "part" of Arthurian mythos, and afaik not that big of a part for Artoria...and Google is not being very helpful on answering what is an epic and what is not, at least for the big/famous Arthrurian stuff. I've seen results describe "Le Morte de Arthur" and "Idylls of a King" as an epic poem (several sites that are not wikipedia) and others that didn't (like wikipedia). So idk.

Anyways...two new sheets! And I still feel up to giving my thoughts on 'em (and writing relationship lines for 'em). Yay!

Gunther: nacissicist indeed. Though before anything else, why does he say "Servant Assassin" and is listed as one but his "title" is "Saber of the Covetous" and his "classes" is listed with a Saber image? Is that an error or am I confused? Anyways, other than that... Honestly the things that stood out were his personality, in a "oh boy" kind of way (as in the entire time he was recounting his story I was going "uh huh... sure that was what happened"...which was confirmed in the personality section) and how his NP works. I think that was neat...though now I can't help but wonder how it would affect NPs like, off the top of my head, other Pretenders like my Titania (and specifically Titania since I'm guessing, unless she is revealed, as Tam Lin King she'll just have her "exaclibur" sealed/nerfed) and in this contest, Scotch's Nīlakēci. Would it just, like...wipe her out before her time limit? And in Nīla's case, would it cancel the "illusion" her NP creates? ...excuse me idk why but i just can't help but wonder with this np. As for the rest...pretty solid. No notes on anything bad but nothing else standing out for me. So overall solid sheet.

Nīlakēci: First off, as someone who had just recovered from essentially being sick for two months, I wish you get well soon. And while you're recovering, have some good rests and some appetite.

And second... So Dante is a famous "early self insert" and this girl is "OP self insert". Got it. XP Okay but seriously, it's hilarious that her story, her epic, is basically that, as your own sheet describes. A Mary Sue spitefic. And it has been elevated to "great literary status" by the Tamil. Amazing. It makes me think of the stereotype of "shakespeare equals fancy...and most people don't know how bawdy it "an get". Everything in the sheet builds up to this and it's just a fun little ride. Or at least I had fun with it. Even if I also have my deepest condolences for her situation. No one likes their cringefics to be famous like this.

Also, have a line from my Titania.

"I can hardly blame her for being embarassed... She wrote such a flat protagonist! And a Mary Sue at that! But...I am still glad it survived and is well remembered, even with how much embarassment it brings her. After all...there are likely so many other stories that were not as lucky."

Well, the person has definitely had poems written about them, so not too sure honestly. Quite famous poems as well.
