Jure Grando Alilović: Missing context from the original sheet hurts my impressions a bit, but I do enjoy the idea of a vampire Servant more related to the vampires of the setting. Fans usually go the other way to justify their existence, and while it's nice to see a different take here, I think people are right to go the other way. The connection to Crimson Moon doesn't really convince me and Arc's role doesn't feel right, the whole "Arcueid Brunestud bowed in complete deference to Jure Alilović and the World seemed to quiver in recognition" felt especially egregious.
That's only part of the premise though, I think a vampire giving birth to a Lostbelt is perfectly within their themes and range of abilities in the setting, though I think there wasn't enough justification for the absurdly strong Life Eater right off the bat, it still paints a strong picture of the setting you're building here.
His Mystic Eyes get a bit of focus and fanfarre but I can't say their actual effect is anything impressive, and seems to leave him with an ability barely better than most regular vampire charms. His last skill also promises something big, but we're left with an effect that's mostly the same as his Mystic Eyes. Despite his grandiose origins and current situation, I'm surprised you went for such a classic vampire powerset, especially after connecting him so strongly to the TAs and DAs, who are anything but.

I think that's where most of the sheet sits, in-between two approaches. It's a pretty casual writing style with a silly class but goes for an overwhelmingly serious setting and story, it's deeply involved with setting-specific vampires but goes for a really classic approach and, most importantly, it draws from a variety of very significant lore but doesn't seem to take them anywhere. It feels like Jure going on a powertrip, which could be very fitting for a Funny Vamp, but the sheet doesn't seem to interested in being fun for the sake of it.

Rāhula: I think you did masterfully with his personality. The casual way in which you reveal his contradictions and how lacking he is in the impersonal tone he is supposed to be taking was great. I like how appropriately powerful he feels, but then you use the Binder-class' own traits to give him weaknesses he wouldn't have otherwise.
I think the biggest evidence of the quality of the sheet is that I was already thinking of his contradiction in the exact way you phrased them in the NP before I even got to it. Great stuff.

Roger Mortimer: People joke about you going for the edgy approach too often but I really like the bold approach of doing lover but immediately going for the dark aesthetic and blocky formatting around grey dialogue. Sets the tone immediately and made me look forward to how you would frame the class skills. Devotion was pretty good, but I think you should have trashed Object of Desire.
After we left the class skill section I thought you had abandoned the Lover theme entirely as we entered the lengthy history lesson, but I'm glad you found your way back to it again later on. With the reveal of Isabella's feelings, the seet seemed to had come full circle to the dark Lover that it opened with, so I was surprised it kept going.
Thankfully it doesn't last for too much longer, with two cool NPs to close it off before the sheet overstays its welcome. Nice job!

Write even more lore next time to further specify the direction I take with the canon lore and write longer paragraphs for the skills, got it (you know who to blame now, Morg-)

Real talk; I just wanted to get him out by today, and was running out of ways to set up the basic lore.

    Arms Proficiency EX
The signature skill of the Gunner Class, the ability to make use of multiple forms of armament so long as they possess the similarity or connection to modern armament. This allows Servants of the Gunner Class to wield modern weaponry in order to fight supernatural opponents, with the effectiveness and damage they are capable of defined by Rank.

For Pascal, while they have acquired the capability to wield modern armaments from this skill, their primary source and claim as one of the Gunner Class lies in the very nature of their existence as a servant.

Or, to be straightforward, Pascal's very body is both their weapon of choice, and the ammunition that they fire in combat. A high piercing, high speed round capable of demolishing through whatever stands in their way.

"Hey hey hey! Yoohooo. Hey there, Master! Now, I'm sure you're great and all, having summoned me, but don't hestiate to call in for the assist, you dig? Ol' Pascal here will destroy your issue in the blink of an eye! Hah? With what weapon? That's myself of course, better than any other shootysmith you can get in this here class. That's my guarantee!"

    Trajectory Correction C-
Similar to an Archer's ability to adjust the direction of their shot, this Skill allows Pascal to adjust the trajectory of an attack after it has already been fired. Similar in concept to a heat seeking projectile, it can change directions to follow an enemy, thus making it harder to avoid.

Due to their attacks involving firing their very body at targets, they are capable of slightly adjusting the direction they fly through angling their body, but it can be quite difficult at closer ranges as a result of the sheer speeds which they can fire themselves at.

It is possible for them to have multiple usages of Trajectory Correction in a single 'shot' through timed explosives mid-flight, but doing so can greatly decrease the speed and power of the attack. It does allow for her line of attack to move at sudden angles normally impossible compared to the average attack from weapons such as guns.

"Ah, c-cracks? Nothing to worry your head over, Master. That's just a sign I'm doing a mighty fine job taking on the enemies, nothing will escape my fist after all! Do I really need to keep blowing myself up to do it? What a silly question!"

Voyager of the Stars (Dream) C
A limited version of Pioneer of the Stars, the ability to make impossibilities possible, allowing for the ability to voyage from planet to planet. For Pascal, who reached high enough speeds to break free from the Earth's grasp, it has been estimated that they already will have reached the edges and beyond the range of the Solar System. Or at least, that is what they, alongside many others, wish to believe.

In truth, where Pascal ended up reaching remains unknown, the most likely theory being that they ended up dying somewhere in the Earth's atmosphere, and never actually made it to the dark expanses of space. But still, people will continue to believe in that wonderful, that they still soar through space ever more. For isn't it fine to dream of such things?

As long as Pascal believes in themselves hard enough and holds true, that where they are going is possible, it becomes possible for them to breach any sort of location, even if it may be considered impossible to do so. They do not gain any sort of inherent protections for existing in whatever environments they might attempt to enter, but Pascal will certainly always reach where they wish to go.

"Hu hu hu. Don't you know, this Pascal has even broken past the Earth itself! They really think we're right where they us, all tressed up and trapped like sitting ducks, ay Master? Come on now, grab hold of me tight. The Great Pascal shall break on through these flimsy walls, easy as pie!"

    Accel Burst! A+++
A simplistic yet powerful skill that grants power through speed. The faster which one moves, the greater an increase they will receive to their Strength and Agility parameters. For Pascal, it also allows them to at will cause forces applied to them to launch themselves further and faster than normally would be expected.

Speed! Speed, speed, and more speed! A skill perfectly fitting for the--totally--fastest in all the world! In truth, while they are perhaps no longer the official fastest--despite how much they protest against it--the fact remains that they hold the position of second place, with Pascal having been estimated to have been moving potentially over five times the escape velocity of the Earth.

A modern champion of speed, they easily are granted the highest of ranks in this skill. Despite its potency, it does not actually grant protection to Pascal for the speeds which they can reach through it. It can become possible, even with their current existence as a Heroic Spirit, to incur damage to themselves upon impacting targets.

"IIIIIII toooold youuuuuu. Now praise me, praise me more! The fastest thing that you've ever laid eyes upon, deserving the title of humanity's fas--ack, wait, hold on! Stop fussing so much, Master, I'm most perfectly fine! Ack! Dents like that are only to be expected after all, it's stuff like this that shows I'm at the peak!"

    I Am Become Death D
A variant of the Aptitude for Slaughter skill, Pascal possesses the inherent ability to understand and utilize nuclear weaponry and technology, regardless of its source or type, and their effectiveness is greatly increased against humans. These include bombs, ICMBs, reactors, and other forms of nuclear weaponry and technology.

A skill normally most known as belonging to a certain scientist, while Pascal lacked any sort of knowledge or understanding regarding nuclear technology in life, they have acquired this skill at a low rank due to their nature as a servant being intrinsically tied to nuclear devices. Without them, Pascal could not have manifested.

In practice, rather than utilizing this skill in what would be considered its 'proper way,' Pascal instead uses it to create explosives to launch themselves at great speeds in combat. This is the propellant of choice required to shoot the 'bullet' that is themselves. Surprisingly, they appear to not receive much damage, if any at all from such actions. Whether a result of careful craftsmanship, the nature of Pascal's existence, or simply due to how weakened the skill has become, the truth remains a mystery.

"What's with that dumb look you've got plastered all over your face, acting all surprised. It totally reads 'but Pascal's a total nonce that's more brick than brain, how are they keeping up with all of those smarty pants types.' I'm hurt Master, hurt I say! Thinking Pascal here doesn't have much going on up here aside from exploding myself all the time!"

    Pascal (B)uster

While the name Pascal Plum II may appear to be an obvious falsity, in truth, it is one as close to the truth as could be in Pascal's eyes, seeing that it is the one they made for themselves due to their lack of one in life. In reality, Pascal's origin stems from Operation Plumbbob, a series of nuclear tests which occurred in the United States in the 1957. Specifically, they were the iron steel cap used to cover the Pascal B subterranean nuclear test, which would wind up being launched straight into the atmosphere as a result.

That which had once laid claim as the fastest manmade object of humanity, and the debated first manmade object to have ever reached space, that is Pascal's true identity.
And perhaps, one could imagine, the most powerful--and accidental--'gun' at the time.

Pascal (B)uster is the reenactment of their singular--and totally awesome--claim to fame. Upon activation, a plume of nuclear fire and power is launched hundreds of meters into the air directly on Pascal's current position, following whatever direction they currently are moving. While acting more as a byproduct rather than the main strength of this Noble Phantasm, this initial propellant can cause high damage to any close enough to be caught in its path. Pascal's speed massively increases as a result, as they are sent hurtling towards their target.

Depending on how fast Pascal was moving as a result of Accel Burst!'s effects, checks will automatically be passed. With each successful check, the power and speed at which Pascal is fired increases exponentially as they reach ever closer to their famed speed. A straightforward and blunt Noble Phantasm, perfectly fitting for themselves.

For them to truly go all out, however, cannot come without cost. It is a reenactment after all.
    Their shining achievement.
Entwined both in their life...and death.

    Ignite the Dream
    Pascal (B)urning
    Rank EX
    Anti-Army, Anti-Unit (Self)

The full extent of Pascal's Noble Phantasm, and their full acknowledgement of the reality of their end. Rather than simply reaching the speeds which they had achieved in life, Pascal (B)urning represents a change from a measurable value, to instead a conceptual enforcement of this metal disc's burning ideal.

Their identity is not just that they had flown faster than five times the Earth's escape velocity.
That is not what the people clamored over.
It is not what they held true to themselves.
They were The Fastest, no matter for how little it lasted.

An attack that utilizes their entire existence as fuel, Pascal's speed automatically adjusts to become something imperceptible to those on the battlefield, including that of whatever their target me be, as their body ignites in flames. A bullet impossible to dodge, not through means of effecting causality or such, but because the speed of it is one that cannot be responded. They will fly, soar, and drill straight through all that gets in their way, even if all that remains is but a burning grin. In combination with Voyager of the Stars (Dream), this attack not only becomes one that is nigh impossible to react to via normal means, but also one which can pierce through all sorts of barriers, environments and defenses.

'A speed so fast that completely annihilates them until not a trace remains.'

This is the truest expression of the existence named Pascal Plum II. An almighty blazing star that will destroy anything that'd stop their path, including themselves.

Let's go Pascal, show them the might of humanity's mistakes!

    « Craft Essence »
Sometimes, I can see it. Fully and truly, the impossibility that I yearn for, you know Master?
I can imagine that it was real.
That I'm just like that little blondie, still soaring out there.
And I wonder...why was I chosen? Why's it me, here and now, and not one of the others? I'm just an afterthought that didn't really do anything.
I'm not some household name known throughout the world, or revolutionized the field of medicine and saved millions of lives.
    I was nothing.
A poor calc got me less than a minute of fame, and then I burned out.
    I love what I accomplished, but...as a Heroic Spirit, I can't help feeling that it's a...mistake.
    ...hah.
    A mistake?
What a thing for me to say.
Ah, geez, can't believe I got all mopey like this out of the blue.
And can't believe you were there the whole time for it! What do you mean I'm the one who started it?
That's it! As payment for seeing me all sad like this, you're gonna help me reach the stars, you got that Master?
    Unreasonable?
That's just what I'm all about!

    Saint Graph Update: Skill Reveal

    Mistakes the Mighty A
The Road Paved by Happy Accidents. Not all wonders which humanity lays claim have been created as a result of purposeful acts. Many in fact have originated from mistakes and accidents, and led to a variety of well known major and minor creations, from insulin and penicillin to matches and chewing gum. A skill which represents the sublimation of all of these accidental markers in human history, and makes it possible for them to be summoned as a Heroic Spirit. The one that happened to take the helm in this summoning as Gunner is the self-named Pascal Plum II. They take quite some pride in the explosive manner that their mistake occurred.

Besides enabling the existence of them as a servant, Mistakes the Mighty creates a passive aura which increases the chances of all manner of situations deviating from the expected, causing all sorts of accidents to occur. In particular, Pascal has a greater chance of being the source of these incidents, but such things usually result in benefitting Pascal. Furthermore, effects which would trigger Luck checks, cause misfortune, or tamper with anything related to luck, accidents, or chance become subverted, and instead become beneficial towards those that would have been affected negatively by them.

As a side note, it may be best to not mention a certain probe around them.

"Huh? What's that? The Parker Solar Probe?" The sound of clacking keys fills the room. "What! What is this! Fake news, they're cheating, cheating I say! Using the Sun's gravity is cheating! I'm the fastest, you hear me! Pascal Plum II!"

Nameless Farmer (And Not Anyone Else)
"This Great Pascal...I see, I see! I call myself humanity's fastest, but there's more ways than just pure agility to judge speed! Hey, hey, can you help me get quicker with my hands with stuff? I'm more used to just smashing right through things and not the delicate stuff, unless there's explosives involved."

    Thomas Midgley Jr.
"...yeah. We know, we understand. For most, mistakes are ones that bring forth negative consequences, and this is but a burning example of such things. My complete opposite....though, I can't help but wonder. Could I have succeeded if...."

    Spacefaring Servants
"Ah, I see! Fellow star sailing compatriots, how are things now that we have come back to Earth? Huh? You don't know any probes called Pascal Plum II? W-well, uh, um."
Pascal proceeds to flee the scene.

    Stanley Kubrick (Broke)
"Of course, of course I'm super speedy, I'm the fastest of humanity after all! You want me to prove it by keeping close following after those other guys? While holding this camera? Well well well, if that'll help prove it, I'll certainly do so! But then you got to take some videos of me, you hear!"

The Chicken Who Crossed the Road
"Why did I cross the road? Because the nuclear explosive that I was supposed to keep tidy underneath me launched me to the heavens! Isn't it obvious? Ha ha ha!"

    The Lovers, Arcana XI
"Not actual people? Who cares! Look at me, and all the rest that I could have been! Big or small, what matters is what we represent, and what we have done. Spreading healing throughout the world, bringing a simple joy to a child, igniting the dreams of the people and becoming the fastest of all! Or learning to love, and be loved. I can't say I really understand it, but even if we're but objects given life from summoning, if we can say we're happy and satisfied, isn't it fine? I'm real, so you are too!"

    Pellegrino Maria Ernetti
"You made something that can look into the past? That's super cool! Wait, you can look into the past! Look for me, do it, do it! I was barely even caught before, but you can totally see the whole of it, right? Come on! Aren't I something?"

    Wilhelmina "Mina" Harker
"Oooooo, that's a bunch of fun looking trinkets you've got their miss. Hey, how about we trade! You give me one, and I can make you a nifty bomb! Guaranteed to leave any monsters hurting."

    Democritus
"Bwahahahahah! You laugh like that a whole lot, don't you? Bwahahahahah! I think I get it, it feels good laughing like that a whole bunch, Bwahahahah! I like you old man."

« Notes »And there we go, my first servant on the site, and for a contest no less. Ignoring how much I kept getting distracted, it was pretty fun making Pascal. It's certainly an exercise in creativity with how much I can draw out of a glorified manhole cover and develop them as a character, especially personality and drive wise. It was also interesting not actually doing a lore/personality/etc sections, and just letting the rest of the sheet and their dialogue explain it for me. Think it's pretty helpful with Servants like this who kind of 'lack' a background.

I suppose if I were to give a fun fact, Pascal technically is a reworked version of the servant. Originally they were a Foreigner, and I'd only actually just made them...this April 1st! An April Fools servant I made on a whim, though a lot less detailed when I'd done so. It was fun fleshing them out a bunch more here while transferring them to the Gunner class.

I guess I'll also give thanks to Sutaa for the formatting I used for this, and also Wyvern for the Gunner Class skills. I like to think it was a stroke of genius going the Riding EX rule of thought. If Red Hare can get it due to them being their ride, then Pascal can get it for them being the bullet!

If there was anything I was uncertain with with them, it'd probably be the parameters being possibly too high for what they are, and also if Mistakes the Mighty would've been more fitting as a second NP or not. Just hadn't been sure if them having two NPs would've been felt as too much.

And I guess that's everything on my mind. I shall now hope I get at least a single point. Or honestly, even just an honorable mention, hah.

    ~Lore~~Lore~

    The Hero of the Nibelungenlied.

The protagonist of the first half of the Nibelungenlied.

Siegfried is the near invincible slayer of the dragon, Fafnir. He obtained the cursed Rheingold, saved many lives, helped Gunther in his trials to marry Brunhild, and was tragically stabbed in the back, his weak point, by his friend Hagan. This was to solve a dispute between Kriemhild, his wife, and Brunhild, his sister-in-law, but this just caused further tragedy.

This Siegfried has oddly been syncretized with Sigurd a bit and that why he is a bit of a weird summon.

    ~Class Skills~~Class Skills~

    Magic Resistance: –
Protection against magical effects. Normally it spells with a chant under three verses. But because of Siegfried having Armor of Fafnir this skill is lost even with the Noble Phantasm acting bizarrely.
It’s fine for this hero, because Siegfried is invincible!

    Riding: B
The ability to ride vehicles and animals. Siegfried can handle them with above-average skill, even vehicles that weren’t in his own time period, he can use quite well. However, he cannot ride the likes of Phantasmal Species such as Monstrous Beasts.
    As expected of me.

    ~Second Ascension~~Second Ascension~

Let me show you the might of a true hero of legend. I’ll bring an end to those who stand in our path.

    ~Personal Skills~~Personal Skills~

    Disengage: A
The ability to either withdraw from combat or reset the state of affairs around oneself. Restores the condition of one’s techniques to their initial value while simultaneously, it forcibly releases some of the bad status ailments that were inflicted on them.
A hero knows when to retreat and to attack their opponent.

    Golden Rule: C-
A Skill that refers to one’s ability to gain great wealth. Siegfried attained the treasures of the Nibelungs, being promised a lifetime of wealth, but his Luck decreases due to the rank of this Skill. In life, Siegfried's kingdom was the wealthiest of all the surrounding regions, often throwing great feasts and tournaments and giving tributes so large that even an entire caravan would have trouble carrying them. The treasure usually manifests as the Noble Phantasm Das Rheingold, which can be accidentally summoned along with Fafnir. But for some reason it’s not with him in this summoning.
That treasure is cursed Master. Be grateful it didn’t follow me at all.
Siegfried hates the treasure for what it did even though he found it.

    Dragon Slayer: A
One of the special Skills possessed by those who brought down a member of the Dragon Kind. Drastically improves one’s offensive power and defensive power against Dragon Kinds. It can be said that this is not a talent given from heaven, but the very anecdote of killing a dragon having been changed into this Skill. This makes him a dangerous existence to any Servants with the dragon characteristics such as Artoria Pendragon.

As the one who killed the evil dragon Fafnir, it is of no surprise that Siegfried gains this Skill at such a high rank.
I am the Slayer of Fafnir after all. Why wouldn’t I be able to slay other dragons? They shall fall all the same.

    Dragon-kind Modification: A
An extreme form of Self-Modification, achieved by swallowing a Dragon’s heart. The Magical Reactor of dragon kind has taken form, allowing for an almost completely independent mobilization despite being a Servant. It allows for Siegfried to use a draconic form that is suited for combat

A Skill that he got because of his close association with Sigurd which syncretized with this summoning at the cost of being weaker in Rank.
Sorry master. It seems that I’m more draconic than usual. But at least being in this form makes me a better warrior.

    ~Relationships~~Relationships~

    Sigurd:
My counterpart who is a hero on par with me! It’s best to keep us separate though to not confuse his wife.”
Sigurd notices something is off about him, but Siegfried always moves past him whenever they cross paths.

    Brynhildr:
I am more like Sigurd in this state, so it’s best we do not meet. She is familiar to one I knew in life, but she seems better in every way.
Siegfried looks like he wants to hug her, but knows that she would try to kill him if they were ever to meet. He pities her yet also dislikes her name. As she reminds him of Brunhild, someone he is uncomfortable to speak of. There is also the fact that she sees him as both Siegfried and Sigurd which means she’ll try to kill him when they inevitably meet.

    Gunther:
My friend and brother in law. I hope your days are well!
It is noted that Siegfried’s hands are violently shaking for some reason. Like he is about to fight Gunther at any moment.

    Sieg:
My other self helped to save his life?…How wonderful. He would do so.
Saber likes the young boy, but is weary around him. His eyes are distant as countless questions are rushing through his head. Thinking of what if’s, but ultimately leading to wondering one thing.

    Why him, but not me?

    Siegfried:
A selfless hero who found a wish of his own in a past Holy Grail War.

*Fist clenched as he continues talking*

That damn fool of a man never thinks about others before dying.

I hate him in a way.

    Yet

    I-I want to…

No, let's move on, Master. Make sure we never meet please… At least for now.

They never met each other. It seems that it is because of this Siegfried hating his own self that he avoids his other half.

    Kriemhild:
…I rather not see like this Master. It’s best to keep us separate. Besides, she already has her husband with her. She does not need me complicating things.
He is uneasy around her. Another person he doesn’t want to meet at this moment. How unlike Siegfried to not want to see his wife, now that they are reunited at long last.

    ~Noble Phantasms~~Noble Phantasms~

Greatsword of Ruin - Felling of the Sky Demon
    Gram Balmung

    Type: Anti-Army
    Rank: A+
    Range: 1-50
    Max Targets: 500
    The Cursed Holy Sword Balmung.

It has become closer to its origin of Gram with this Siegfried. A great two-handed blade of immense power that has a hidden blue jewel embedded in its hilt. The jewel stores and preserves magical energy, True Ether, which when activated causes a blue and red aura to appear. The energy swirls around the sword and is then released as a red and blue spiral beam towards its an area causing great devastation.

Gram Balmung was used to slay the evil dragon, Fafnir. That feat of dragon slaying has made it so those with the blood of dragons will take additional damage from it. This cursed greatsword is an incredibly fast activating Noble Phantasm in Saber’s hand. He can deploy it even faster than Sieg, this makes it incredible in fights against other Servants.
-O sword. Let thee be filled.

    Gram Balmung!

Blood Armor of the Evil Dragon
    Armor of Fafnir

    Type: Anti-Unit
    Rank: B+ (—)
    Range: -
    Max Targets: 1
An almost invincible body that Siegfried obtained by bathing in Fafnir’s blood after slaying the dragon except for the spot on his back. It normally protects him from all except for A-Rank attacks.

Yet for some reason, this Noble Phantasm is not present with Saber. The Das Rheingold is also not with him, how strange. It seems this Siegfried is overall weaker than the other Siegfried even with Sigurd influencing this Spirit Origin. He bleeds like a normal man now. The only good thing about this is that he doesn’t have a weak spot anymore.
I’m sorry Master. For some reason this summoning of me has just left you with this useless Servant.

    Cloak of Invisibility
    Tarnkappe

    Type: Anti-Unit (Self)
    Rank: EX
    Range: -
    Max Targets: 1 (Self)
A invisibility cloak that Siegfried obtained alongside Balmung and the Das Rheingold. It was said to give him twelve times his strength and to, of course, become invisible. He used this item to help Gunther in his trials to marry Brunhild and to allow him to have his way with her.

For some unknown reason, It has been fused with his body as a replacement for his near invincible body. It is essentially the Presence Concealment Skill, but requires more mana to use its true name. It causes his presence to be distorted in a way most can’t realize even without releasing it. Alongside this, his multiplied strength is nowhere to be seen. This Siegfried should be one of the physically strongest Servants there is.

    But he isn't.

This Noble Phantasm Rank should also be way lower, but in his current summons it is extremely strong.

    What is “Siegfried” hiding?

    …Very well.
    I knew I couldn’t hide it forever.
Especially as you already have them as your Servants.
Let me show you my true colors then.

Catalyst: Book Copy of the Nibelungenlied (1% Chance to summon Faker Gunther)

Likes: His parents, stories, and sharing tales
Dislikes: His namesake, Hildebrand, his own weakness

    ~Lore~~Lore~
In the Nibelungenlied all remember the hero, Siegfried.

All know of his wife Kriemhild who fought to avenge her husband’s death.

But in the text there are only a few lines about their son. No known accomplishments to his name. How his parents raised and loved him. What did he feel about his uncle who kept Balmung. What of the kingdom of Burgundy that he was left to rule in the wake of Krimehild’s revenge against his father’s killers.

All that is known is his name…

    Gunther

The only son of Siegfried of Xantan and Kriemhild of Burgundy. He was born as Prince of Xantan and nephew to Gunther, King of Burgundy and Brunhild, Icelandic Queen. One of the few survivors of the Nibelungenlied and Kriemhild’s revenge.

Gunther was to grow up with a father, but the dragon slayer “died” to a spear to the back by Hagan, his friend. Yet Hagan was also friends with King Gunther and because of him and Brunhild being dishonored by what Siegfried did, Hagan ended the hero’s life. Yet this was the king’s fault as he asked for the dragon slayer’s assistance as he couldn’t get past the Icelandic Queen’s trials and couldn’t lay with her as she was stronger than him.

With Siegfried dead and his body found in front of their home, the hero’s funeral would soon commence. His body however bled when Hagan appeared. A clear sign to who his betrayer was. But during that funeral, baby Gunther was also held there in his mother’s arms as she cried Siegfried’s name.

He was there in the background during her decades long revenge quest against her brother. He was there as she tried to use the Das Rheingold to hire mercenaries, but it was sunk in the Rhine River. He was there when she married Attila the Hun.
He wasn’t there when her revenge was fully realized as she had killed all of the Nibelungs with her army.
He wasn’t there when she cut her brother’s head off and then sliced Hagan’s head off with Balmung.
He never found out the truth of his father’s death.
All that Gunther knew was what Hildebrand said about what happened and that he cut Kriemhild’s head off in retaliation for what she did.

So Gunther did the only thing he could do, to tend towards the dead and be king. He buried all the corpses left in the wake of his mother’s bloody revenge. He gave his mother a grand casket and buried her next to his father, just as she wanted. Then he took the throne of Xantan and began a plan to retake Balmung from Hildebrand’s hands. Surprisingly, it was easy for Gunther to steal it from the man’s clutches, but he wasn’t going to complain. He was easy to miss at times, but that was okay with him. As Balmung was his father’s sword it would also become his to wield.

His parents were at peace with Kriemhild’s revenge complete and Balmung in his rightful hands. So with the end of their tale, Gunther spread word of their lives to everyone in his small kingdom. Their tale would soon spread across the land and soon be written down in the Nibelungenlied.

One of the most famous heroic epics of Europe.

But Gunther wasn’t remembered like his parents. His presence was, but a blip in his parent’s story. He was barely able to become a Heroic Spirit at all, only viable to be summoned as a Faker Servant. Yet to him that is okay so long as he can see his parents one more time.

    ~Class Skills~~Class Skills~

    Camouflage: A
The Class Skill of the Faker class. It is a Skill that allows a Servant to disguise their Class, parameters, and skills.
I am sorry for deceiving you even if only for a short while, but my facade would have vanished if you let mother and father see me… Ah, you are wondering why I could only be summoned as a Faker? It is because I’m just a footnote in my parent’s legend. I survived because I was forgotten… Yet because of my blood being close to a dragon and father I could “fake” being him.

    Independent Action: C
The ability to remain independent in the world even without a Master’s magical energy to support oneself for one day. Gunther was a mere shadow in the backdrop of Kriemhild’s revenge plans. She loved and cared for him, that is of no doubt, but his strong body reminded her of Siegfried which only made her desire for revenge burn ever brighter. This made her be hands off with him as he grew into his teens and eventually just put her full focus on her revenge.

This made Gunther into quite a free-spirited young man, who went on many trips and adventures. He always returned home however. His love for his mother and her grief over Siegfried made it clear to him that she was lonely. So the man supported her as she did him on his many travels.
Eh? Yes, I traveled the land. My reasons were many to be away from my uncle, aunt, and Hagan. It was also to feel closer to my father. But my adventures pale in comparison to his slaying of Fafnir.

    ~Personal Skills~~Personal Skills~

    Inborn Dragon: A
Born to the dragon-blooded Siegfried and Kriemhild, Gunther was stronger and faster than most men in his era. A man who had inborn combat abilities and magical energy inherited from his father. This includes the Mana Burst Skill. He can form a pseudo-Magical Reactor inside him, albeit temporarily. Inborn Dragon was hidden as the Dragon-kind Modification Skill of Sigurd’s and it is what allows him to transform into a more draconic form which allows for flight.
I may not be invincible like him, but I’m a more disposable tool for your use. I apologize if you hoped for me to be as good as him. He slayed Fafnir and I can’t live up to that. No, matter what I…I couldn’t live up to him.

    Information Blank: B-
A twisted Information Erasure that fits Faker’s true identity. Only his true name was known, but his appearance and abilities were not. Thus after an engagement ends, his abilities, and appearance become hazy in other minds. His abilities and appearance can be deduced if one knows his heritage. So his True Name will be revealed soon after. Gunther was given only a few lines about his existence and so the person of [Gunther], is only understood to be Siegfried and Kriemhild’s son. This has many effects like lowering his presence to that of a weak Servant when not in combat, but barely noticeable.

Gunther was a mere shadow compared to Siegfried and Kriemhild. A son that would never rival his parents in either power and skill. At least in his head, he thinks so. But it is this exact reason why he survived when compared to others. He was a shadow that many overlooked.
I am a mere footnote in my parent’s history. Yet if that can help you in any capacity then… It will only be useful in this war.

Last Rites for the Departed: C
A recreation of what Gunther did for the dead left in Kriemhild’s bloody revenge. Faker’s putting the dead to rest in a funeral for many. A way for the departed to rest easy, no matter who they were in life. As he gave all the dead who were enemies in life a grand sendoff, he gave spirits their own rest. This grants him the ability to create an area that is “a funeral for the dead to be at ease” essentially a place that gives “clarity” and “relief” to the dead. This unsurprisingly works on Servants, which give them focus and clears any negative things affecting them. The cost of this skill is great melancholy to afflict Gunther and more mana to keep up for too long so this is used sparingly.
It was the right thing to do. Even if I hate my uncle, he deserved to be buried alongside the Nibelungs. The Huns also deserved to be buried.

Yes, I did give my mother a grander casket than the others. But as her son, it was my duty to honor her devotion and love by burying her next to Sieg-…father.

    Charisma of the Living: B+
A specialized variation of the Charisma Skill, which grants those who were in the Nibelungenlied benefits on top of his regular charisma. Faker shared his parent’s tales across Europe, to ensure that they were remembered and to discredit those who killed his father. He gives other Nibelungenlied Servants like Siegfried and Kriemhild a massive fame boost as if they were summoned in their homeland. However, their Nordic counterparts of the Völsunga Saga also get this huge fame boost. This makes Gunther a great supporter in battle with these Servants. Yet for himself, this skill does little to help him if at all.

One of the major things that Gunther did as the new King of Xantan was to spread his parents' tale as much as he could. He told all bards and oral storytellers to share Siegfried's great deeds and Kriemhild's devotion to her husband. This would later lead to their story being written down in the Nibelungenlied thus being renowned as the Dragon Slayer and the Queen of Revenge. For his father was a hero to all and his mother was a champion of love. And for Faker that was all he needed to both honor their memory and peacefully rest for the remainder of his days.
Even if it hurts that I’m just a background figure in their story. I did something that showed I loved them. And maybe…maybe that was enough.

    ~Noble Phantasms~~Noble Phantasms~

    Shrouded Cloak of Invisibility
    Tarnkappe

    Type: Anti-Unit (Self)
    Rank: EX
    Range: -
    Max Targets: 1 (Self)
The invisibility cloak Siegfried obtained alongside Balmung and Das Rheingold. It was the only thing Gunther had left behind from his father after his death.

It grants him many abilities such as the use of Presence Concealment B and has become intertwined with his Spirit Core. As Siegfried used it many times, it has an imprint of him left on it and is why Gunther can pretend to be a Siegfried(somewhat syncretized with Sigurd) almost exactly. A great way to hide his identity as the Tarnkappe also multiplies Gunther’s already great strength to A Rank. A way for him to be as mighty as the Dragon Slayer to further push his false identity. This cloak is why Gunther can be summoned as he can fake being Siegfried without being just a Phantom Spirit.
That is right. I am weak and could only be your Servant by being a fake. But if that means a fake can help in any way then that is better than nothing.
Shrouded in illusion and the wind, Tarnkappe.

    A Blade’s Return to Home
    Grieving Balmung

    Type: Anti-Army
    Rank: A+
    Range: 1-50
    Max Targets: 500
It is still the Balmung of before, but now truly the best sword it can be. A holy and demonic sword that embodies both of those traits simultaneously in Gunther’s hands.

Grieving Balmung in Gunther’s hands is more dangerous than ever before. As a man who lived a full life, he has felt great wrongs and done good. Thus Grieving Balmung can be either demonic or holy, whichever suits the situation more. The feat of slaying Fafnir made it so those with the blood of dragons will take additional damage from it. This cursed greatsword is still an incredibly fast activating Noble Phantasm in Saber’s hand? He can almost deploy it instantaneously, making it valuable in combat.
-O sword. Let thee be filled.

Feel all my sorrow and rage.

    Grieving BALMUNG!!!

    ~Personality~~Personality~

Gunther is a son and a king. He is a boy who was forced to deal with the harshness of the real world. A man who traveled the land in his father’s footsteps yet couldn’t live up to the image in his head. So Gunther always returned to his mother’s side to be there for her as she did to him when he was younger. He is a downtrodden person who looks down on his accomplishments and sees himself as somewhat of a tool for his Master to use, but doesn’t realize it because his focus on surviving made him this way. This is but a mask he has as both “Siegfried” and what he wants others to see. That of the hero his mother told him of when he went to bed. These moments made Gunther love hearing the tales of others and the stories of the modern age. As long as one is kind to him for long enough they may be able to break Gunther’s mask and show him that he is a hero in his own right for what he accomplished. That he isn’t a tool, but a man who can show how he really feels. That just by living and being who he really is…is enough.

    Wish:
I…I want to see both of them and be a family. One that isn’t a tragedy this time. It's a simple wish, but it’s mine. To see my father in person and to say hello. To…To finally get to know the man my mother loves so dearly.

    ~Final Ascension~~Final Ascension~

Hmm? These tears are what I really real.

I survived my mother’s vengeful rampage. But…what kind of son would want to know she died and see her corpse? I know she did terrible things in the name of revenge, but…She is still my mother. These golden tears are the mark of my grief over her. I knew her better than father and because of that…it hurt to see her body. Master, I will be your blade for as long as you need. Even after this is over though, know that you are a good friend of mine. So if you ever need a hand know that I’ll be there for you…so you won’t feel what I did during those dark days.

    ~Relationships~~Relationships~

    Gunther:
    You idiotic, pathetic man!
One of two men that he hates with a passion. He was wary of them in life as Kriemhild told him of his and Hagan’s hand in Siegfried’s death. Because of this, Gunther hates his own name and uncle.

    Sigurd:
Sorry for pretending to be you. It was needed to show I was different from my father. Know that I won’t do that again, but can you please keep your wife away from me. I still feel like you so she stills tries to end me.

    Brynhildr:
Sorry, I am not your husband ma’am. AH!

    Sieg:
He saved you and what you did makes you worthy of his mantle. Do you mind if we spar though?
Gunther is mixed on Sieg. He is his father’s successor and the one he saved on his own violation. He wonders why Siegfried didn’t have this resolve in his life as this would’ve saved a lot of headache. But he understands that he wouldn’t be born if that happened. He sees him as a younger brother and joyfully spars with him as combat is simpler than feelings. At least to Gunther it feels that way.

    Siegfried and Kriemhild:
What? You w-want me to meet them Master?

Of course I want to, but…w-what if-

    They are already here?!

Ah. Father, Mother, it’s great to see you both happy. I-I didn’t mean to hide my identity, but I had to. I wanted to see you happy with each other for once. For me that was enough. W-What?

Mom, Dad, I-I…I am so happy to be here with you!!!
*He rushes to hug them both which they reciprocate. His father was a person with little self-worth, but a hero. His mother was there for him when he trusted only a few. But in this moment of reunion there were little words said, but there didn’t need to be. Even if mother and son disagree with Siegfried’s choice of death and the pain that ensued, they had each other now. And that was enough for their little family to finally be together again.

    Memory of Mother

I remember that day with clarity.
It was the day my father was being buried.
My mother was crying yet her eyes were burning.
    She carried me tightly.
As if afraid I would be gone too.
    She began yelling at someone.
I didn’t know why at the time, I was still so young, but all I knew was she needed me.
Her face was carved into my mind.
All I knew was that she needed me.
So I stayed close to her.
I would always be close to her.
She was the only one I could fully trust.

    But…
    I know.
    She loved me.
But she loved father so dearly that she wanted no-demanded retribution.
    I wasn’t enough for her.
Her life was focused on her revenge.
While that hurt for a time, I accepted it.
So I was there for her as she was for me.
I shared her and his tale because…
Even if it hurts me, her love for him was pure and large.
    As was mine for her.
Her quest for revenge was not a lonely one.
For she was a great woman and mother.

    Creator Notes
I had this one in the back of my mind for over a year now and I hope I delivered. The son of Siegfried and Kriemhild makes a great Faker at least to me. He had only a little bit written about him, literally just that he existed and that’s it. Gunther basically survived the Nibelungenlied by just disappearing from the plot and that made a great starting off point for a Faker Servant to me. That the entire reason he is Faker is because there was so little about him made perfect sense. Anyway, I hope he’s alright.

    Binding & Fettering B+

The signature class Skill of the Binder class, the ability to establish a network of connections with themselves as its focal point. Binder’s attacks create tethers draining both magical energy and lowering the target’s Mana and Luck parameters to redistribute them to Binder’s allies, also marking both sides as applicable targets for their Noble Phantasm. Additionally, targets that are already described within it — whether originally or by being added during their current summoning — are automatically marked as targets and bound by Binder’s tethers. They are known as one of the Three Great Fairytales Authors, their works on gathering and writing down in a single place many tales of their homeland solidifying its folklore and granting it a much stronger foundation than it had as orally transmitted stories altered from one town to another until the original could no longer be discerned.

"Yes, we are summoned as a Binder here. Not Caster, but don’t worry, we are still scholars and teachers here."
"It’s a pretty rare Extra Class, I’ve heard … Do you think her presence is why we’re like that ?"
"It may have helped … but I do think we would have been qualified anyway."

    Independent Action D++

The class Skill of both Archers and Binders, the ability to continue roaming the World even without support or anchor for a longer duration. Originally, the brothers would only receive a painfully medium or low rank, as they have been rather dependent on others’ generosity to subsist, yet they are now a famously recognized name due to their work on fairy tales without needing the mention of others — there can be found the influence of the Muse Clio, using that very fame of theirs to promote them in a stable situation upon manifestation. Paired with their high reserves of magical energy and the supplement received from their fetters, barring high-intensity usage of their Noble Phantasm over long periods of time, it’s unlikely that they would find themselves unable to maintain their existence without preparation to deprive them.

"It feels so good not needing as much support as we used to, doesn’t it, Jacob ?"
"... Yeah, it is nice. Well, it’s not full independence, but it’s still better than before."

    « Personal Skills »Personal Skills

    Recorder (Fairytales) A++

The Skill to gather, record and recall a specific target, usually knowledge, functioning similarly to a composite of a specialized form of Collector and Librarian of Knowledge. Of course, within the field of fairytales, the Grimm Brothers are among the most famous recorders you can find in the Throne, alongside their colleagues Aesop and Hans Christian Andersen, and this specialization is magnified in the Binder class, focusing more specifically on that aspect of them than simply as “authors”. All matters of knowledge pertaining to stories are naturally attracted to them, facilitating recording in their Noble Phantasm, and any tidbit of that recorded data can be recalled at will, facilitating both Noble Phantasm usage and, within the scope of a Holy Grail War or other potential gatherings of Servants such as Singularities and Lostbelts, the recalling of other Heroic Spirits’ legends to their own advantage.

"Well, I suppose it is not surprising seeing a life’s work — no, the work of two lives — result in something like that for Heroic Spirits. Our tales got much more famous after our time …"
"With all we’ve done, it better have ! Decades of toil unrewarded ? No thank you ! That being said, this is pretty neat."

    Philology (German) B

A Skill denoting proficiency in the scientific field of philology, that is to say the study of language itself in both oral and written sources and its evolution. While it obviously provides positive modifiers to linguistics checks, it lacks any other general function, as it then varies depending on the user and their contributions to the field of philology. In the case of the Grimm brothers, because their philological work is directly tied to their gathering of German tales and to their attempt at reaching the Root by seeking to understand the origins of languages, it doubles as a means of incantation for spellcasting. Although obviously not effective in that regard to the same degree as it would have when summoning them as a Caster, the Skill itself remains at a satisfactory rank due to the nature of the Binder class, as that very attempt to reach the Root is in essence the reconstitution of a chain binding the languages of old to those of today.

"Ah yes, our Deutsches Wörterbuch … As a scholarly work of philology I'm proud of it. As magecraft research however … Some would say it's a bit of a reach to try to return to the roots of languages-"
"But seeing those Sealing Designates of today, I say we were on the right track ! Well, I've heard that the puppeteer gave up on doing the same with anatomy, but Gotteswort did get pretty close, all thanks to fairies, so that's a good start !"

    Discernment of the Poor B

A Skill denoting the ability to see through the opponent’s character and attribute through insight born from the knowledge of the lowest stratums of society. The Grimm brothers lived in poverty for the latter part of their childhood due to their father’s and later their mother’s deaths and had to make do with jobs under their true calling and qualifications to support their younger siblings, continuing to face financial difficulties later in their lives when the political situation lost them their jobs and thus incomes. Deceiving them through words is nearly impossible, especially due to their Philology’s modifiers to language checks and their Noble Phantasm providing cautionary examples.

"Yeah, short-term success is never to be taken for granted, and at the end-"
"I don't want to talk about it."

    She Who Proclaims EX

An exclusive Skill stemming not from the Grimm brothers — although some latter uses of their works are factored in rooting this Skill in their Saint Graph — but from the Muse that joined them, Clio. She is, of course, the Muse of History, a goddess whose very name can be translated as “making famous”, and she thus affected Binder’s Saint Graph in her capacity as “the proclaimer, the glorifier and celebrator of history, great deeds and accomplishments” to allow them to reverse the flow of their abilities, or perhaps completing the latter step of their usage — that is to say, turning Recorder’s characteristic of gathering wisdom into 「spreading knowledge」. Although they somewhat lack the storytelling skills of their fellow great authors and the charisma of lyric poets chanting their tales to an audience, through the tethers they create as a Binder, they can share and proclaim knowledge, particularly of the doings of one or multiple persons. By re-establishing their accomplishments firmly into the minds of those around, it becomes possible to essentially raise the target’s fame or discredit it into infamy exponentially in regards to the amount of people sharing this knowledge.

    Kinder- und Hausmärchen

    Anti-Tale
    Rank E~A+

Kinder- und Hausmärchen, also known as Children's and Household Tales, is the most famous work of the Grimm brothers, and one of their first publications, re-edited through their lives. As its name implies, it is a compilation of tales recorded by the brothers of mainly European origins. In today's world, especially thanks to the adaptations by Walt Disney, it's not wrong to say those stories they gathered are among the most famous, a cut above Aesop's fables and, for some of them, above even Andersen's own works.

Among the Three Great Fairytales Authors, the Grimm brothers indeed stand in a specific place — unlike Andersen, they never wrote their own stories, only recording existing ones, unlike Aesop, they speak of folklore of the Age of Men — and their works show a greater interest for the continuation of an artistic tradition by recording it than simply an entertaining performance to stir the emotions of the public, in short, history over storytelling. This is the very reason behind the choice of the Muse Clio to attach herself to their Saint Graph rather than any other historian to bestow her blessings upon.

As a Noble Phantasm, it manifests as a shared mental landscape for the two brothers, a fictional land of tales in the middle of which they sit, surrounded by bookshelves filled with the written stories that make up the rest of that world. Unlike Reality Marbles, it isn’t a World that can be expanded over the existing one, simply a dream that the two share, a mental study room in the middle of the dreams of the countless children who grew up with their tales. Its primary function is to 「record one's accomplished story as an established legend」, to bind the history of the target to the World so it may be remembered, allowing its temporary elevation to a status similar to Heroic Spirits in tandem with the Muse's proclamation.

As a Caster, they would have then been able to directly summon the contents of that World, gathered stories of their land and newly recorded ones of this manifestation, but as a Binder, it instead combines with their tethers to become the ability to bind the target to the fate of a story. A Wraith may be sublimated, bounties and blessings may be distributed to those ascribed to the fates of the heroes, receiving fortune and riches upon putting on a glass slipper or the support of a booted cat, but just as well may an enemy become entrapped in less-than-favorable situations, condemned to lose their feet to burning shoes or to erode a mountain of pure diamond.

Many thanks to gears for the high-res class icon (though I has to down the res because as it’s the collapse image, I couldn’t use a table or BIMG to have it not take the screen’s full width :romani:)
I’ll add their relations later, I’m on a bit of a time rush rn and having to handle two voices does not help there.

    I Point: Kaarina Maununtyär

The feels are heavy with this sheet, so I really liked it. I also found the idea of specifically an anti-Berserker Servant pretty neat, so that's a mechanically cool part. I just can't put this higher because I found the sheet.... a bit too long. It was alright for me since I read fast, but because of it, it was difficult to keep track of.

    II Points: Democritus
This is just a based old man. Believing that Divine Spirits don't exist while being around not one, but two versions of Zeus in the contest is simply impeccable. However, the minor formatting error in the opening means that my immersion is broken-
Ahem, on a more serious note, Binder = Questioner is a really unhinged choice for a Servant Class, and I mean this is absolutely bonkers. However, you somehow made it make sense in a way that made me understand Binders and Questioners more, so...good job??? This man is just super cool though, no other way of putting it, because why be sad when you can just laugh? Vaguely reminds me of Camus and since I am a Camus enjoyer, I vibe here.

    III Points: Pascal Plum II
A neat sheet to start posting with! It was interesting to learn about who- or rather what- Gunner actually was, so the fact that you made me research and go into a rabbit hole about nuclear testing is a bonus. Also, for those of you who were around in the Secret Santa, you all know how much I like the "burn yourself out and reach for the stars!" vibes (looking at you, Jack Parsons) so I found this sheet SUPER fun. I like the vibes sooo.... go and shine bright like the sun because you ARE the fastest, Pascal!
