The 'Come to Brazil' Saga has come to an end. And what a glorious end it is.

Seriously, between me and Frenzy, I would have been happy if either version of 'Pedro' could have reached the podium. But both? It means to much to know that a rather impulsive decision on my end helped take both our sheets second and third place.

In the end I can't do anything but thank everyone who voted for my version of him and say that I won't make a habit of hijacking the contest with impromptu collaborations in the future. If only because it feels unfair to do that to other people.

The Beauty and Trouble with many participants.
More Rivals make it hard to stand out.
To stand out one needs a good concept, execution and/or presentation and I think the top three show that. Hong had a great concept and execution, but compared to the other two the presentation is quite, tame and simple (use of reveals and stuff is more on execution side). Both Pedros have remarkable Presentation, but the concept of the real Pedro is the simple one (in a sense of no big conceptual and power shenanigans, close to the original, down to earth, honest), yet the execution is really great. Isabel on the other hand has intricate concepts behind it, but the execution wasnt perfect, but still great.
I hope that doesnt sound pretentious or anything when I want to praise you three.
All are great in their own styles.

I'm really glad I got mentioned in the honorable mentions. I dont feel bad not getting a vote, since Brazil Saga and Jesus Brother were fantastic contest entries. Oh shoot, I forgot I still had like 6 dialogue lines that i forgot to add. You guys thinking on updating your dialogue lines? I honestly dont see myself doing that with Afonso any time soon (aside from maybe Brazil but im not sure) but I got really REALLY invested on Miguel so might as well finish the dialogue lines.

yes and no. seems like it is basically more than half of Southamerica, so the theme could quite differ from what Wyvern is gonna do, especially since in Nasu LB7 there seems to be no Tree anymore, while he is all bout dem treez

The subtitle for LB7 (at least the part that isn't hidden) is 'The Sea of Trees', which suggests it's going to be in the Amazon rainforest

It was the initial inspiration for my Lostbelt, yes. Why I'm focusing so much on Trees and using that as the springboard for my plot. I do hope people enjoy it, even if I'm certain most would rather read about more familiar figures and mythologies. I guess this is just me being selfish and wanting to carve up a slice of nasuverse for myself.

People want to read about mythology
But we only get greek, indian, bit of far asian and sprinkles of mesoamerican. Even the mainstream mythologies of egypt and norse are underexplored, so creating your own stuff is something i can relate to because i did the same with egypt and pre olympian mythology and plan to do on many more. And making that for a difficult to explore mythology like brazil is a godsent
