A young girl who only wishes for her father to notice and cherish her as who she was. But as it may be, the two are ultimately incompatible. Yet even so, they loved each other still despite it all.
Chosen Votes
Tubalcain: +1
The cruelest fate of all inventors/scientists/scholars is to see their greatest creations and discoveries being used for acts of great destructions, surely a curse inherited from his wrathful ancestor. Even so, he still strives to invent a peaceful world.
Vivaldi: +2
The heir has been left with nothing but a weight of the world on their shoulders. Winds howling a discordant melody that reminds them of who they will never surpass. In exchange for his mentor's freedom, he is forever shackled by his shadow. A fate he cherishes.
Iemitsu: +3
A boy who has never tasted childhood. A boy who bears the sin of Comparison against everyone else, the most egregious example being his father. The endless struggle of trying to met the impossible expectations of his peers and ancestors. The crushing realization that despite having done everything he could, it was not enough. It will never be enough.
The entries have been very emotional. I have been brought to tears on several of them. Well done to their authors. Very Emo.
