If sexy bait waifu Molay already exists, there's effectively zero motivation for them to do a Male version of this character who no one really likes that much to warrant 2 SSR versions of. If they want male bucks they have actually good options to invest in. I don't have anything against Molay but there's no way he's actually a priority for them. The only way I can see him getting added is if his writer REALLY needs him to exist for whatever plot they're writing.

Also Oberon is liked because he has a character and purpose, of which Molay has none.

Pretty much. I always find it weird that people just expect Male Molay to be a shoo-in unlike Noah and Sita who actually has a character and purpose if they are ever added in. Like I looked at how Arcade used Molay and in storyline, he's literally no different than Ozymandias and The Lion King in having a similar priority for the sake of his Templars and nothing else. In Events, it's just referencing his Foreigner side and more of him being a nerd... and those aren't really character or a purpose.

Like it's hard to believe but there are a few characters in Mobile who genuinely lack purpose and it's more from not really having time to be used properly(Or in the case of Boudica, constantly spinning the wheels than reaching a conclusion) rather than having nothing(Even Eric Bloodaxe falls into this as his biggest issue is just that lack of use as the little things they give him is enough to give him character and purpose).
I don't see anyone going nuts spending cash on Male Molay based on just his looks alone when the biggest money spenders on males is precisely their characters and purpose(Douman, Muramasa and Oberon fit both of these pretty hard)

Remember that poll, which event do you want to be rerun? This update makes me think that the Arcade Collab event is the one that won. If that is the case I think that is the reason why there is another push to do more events for FGOAC. While I don't expect anything big, I have a feeling that this might mean they changed their mind and have decided to add at least one more new servant to the game.

From April 2024, "Fate/Grand Order Arcade" will transition to operating with only permanent content as well as periodic system updates.
Accordingly, the implementation of limited-time content will seize by the end of March 2024.

Permanent content that can still be accessed after April 2024:
- Grail Wars
- Grand Order
- Chaldea Gate
- Extra Interlude
- Shop
- My Room
- Summoning (for more details, see the "future summons" section below)

Periodic updates that will be held after April 2024:

It then goes on to talk about how regarding future summoning they'll just do special "class summon" banners that will just rotate with most servants in them for you to pull. In February, they're also adding a new game mode called "Bond Battel" so that you can farm bond on your units super quickly, but otherwise the "upcoming schedule" shows exactly what is described above. They will also of course continue with customer support.

In other words, after April this year the game will still exist to play, but there'll be no new content that isn't at best strictly gameplay related.

it's a good question. I saw it on my facebook feed a few days ago. I thought the same thing that FGOAC would be shutting down, but the comments said the opposite. The tweet was in japanese so I didn't question it.

So yeah after looking at it again it turns out I had wrong info.
