Welp, Rex Goodwin came and went. Overall a fun event, I really dig his Inca deck and I loved a lot of the pre-game dialogue characters had with him especially Trudge. <3
Also a new Box came out today, and judging by the fact that several of Roman Goodwin's cards are in there I can guess which Dark Signer is coming next...
I'm just waiting on them to release the tuner monster for Aromages.

Oh snap, not only were the leaks true but we're doing some massive sequence breaking - the upcoming box of booster packs has a bunch of "Cyberse" cards in it, the new-ish monster type from VRAINS.
Oh well, after re-watching the "weed" episode of GX I'm back to trying to find a way to incorporate Mokey Mokey into a deck...
The next big event is upon us: Raid Battling against DSOD movie antagonist Aigami and his Cubic Behemoth. Dark Magician/Blue-Eyes monsters do triple whilst the Egyptian Gods do quintple the damage. Gotta say, one-shotting Aigami with Obelisk and stacking the EX-Skill "Willpower" which further multiples the attack by another 3x for massive damage was immensely satisfying to wipe the floor with his smug face. <3
Strangly you don't unlock Aigami himself during this event but DSOD!Yugi Muto for some reason. Guess they wanna save him for the inevitable Atem vs Aigami event.
Phew, quite a few things going on right now. Aside from the Teá (DSOD) event going on right now, her story scene dialogue with Joey practically had her winking at the screen when she said "Tristan and Bakura are on their way here." XD
Anyways, soon after Teá is done we've got a couple of roaming duelists coming. The second one is definitely Bruno from 5Ds, but the first has people disagreeing between Aigami/Shadi/Marik with each having evidence for them. The update doesn't say anything about obtaining the characters so I'm assuming both won't be available just yet despite their cards being obtainable from their respective events.
At the end of July we've got what's practically guaranteed to be Kalin Kessler (non-Dark Signer) to be unlocked in the 5Ds "Clash at Crash Town" event. I'm ambivalent to Kalin myself, but more Infernity cards are always cool.

Wow, quite a lot's going on right now.
Aside from the tease of another one of Jim's cards being made available in the Tag Tournament starting today (just put him in already Konami!).
We got the climax of the DSoD story with another Raid Battle against Aigami, this time he whips out his King Crimson thingy. I believe we'll be able to unlock him as well finally?
Lastly, Zexal world (and XYZ summons) coming real soon from the looks of things given what was found in the datamine of the latest game update. :O

Not long to go now, once this 5Ds Chronicle event is over the door to Zexal World should finally open and I can't wait. I binged seasons 1 & 2 of Zexal over the past few days so I wouldn't be spoiled.
Though the datamines have already revealed who the first three Duelists will be through their Gate rewards.

Who wants to bet that Dark Blade is actually part of the Supreme King or somesuch? It definitely feels something like that given his dialogue as the "Tour Guide".
Anyways, thus ends the first day of the "D.D Castle: Assault!" event. I'm chomping at the bit to unlock Axel which is sadly still a couple of days away. Interestingly, the dataminers found that a bunch of Evil Hero cards were added into the data for the game as soon as the event went up so you can probably guess who the final boss will be...
Other than that, this month seems pretty quiet with only the Kite Tenjo roaming duelist being of any interest. I'm still holding out hope that Antinomy will drop in January since he was probably my favourite 5Ds character.

First Antinomy arrives tomorrow and now they reveal that Duke Devlin is coming next month!? Konami be bringing sexy (bois) back.
Duke also gives hope to other forgotten characters that were datamined long ago but never released like Atticus. If I can get him and Jim in Duel Links then I'll finally have all my YGO Husbandos gathered together...

Yo, this low key kinda jaw dropping and opens up so many possibilities for characters with different forms not being relegated to separate characters. Like say, Nightshroud could actually be both him possessing Atticus *and* then turning into his true from when his LP get low enough.

Wew lad, a lot of stuff be going down right now. We got Quattro release in less than a week, after that we got Trey roaming event to open up July proper and then to close the month out we got another D.D Castle event to unlock the Supreme King.
Very curious as to how they'll handle the D.D Castle storyline as I assumed we'd get Jim next and then close out with Supreme King but I guess not.
Aside from that, Reiji Akaba from Arc-V has leaked which suggests Konami might be doing a DSoD thing where they have the Kaiba-clone debut with the new World first rather than the usual Yu-Protagonist.
