I think getting at least partal translations of the stat sheets shouldn't matter that much on how good the game is. And even if it is bad it can't be as bad as what you guys think of Apocypha or Last Encore

It matters because unlike Fate proper, if this ends up being mediocre or even bad, then nobody will talk about it in just a couple of months, and even less so want to deep dive into the lore of the servants. That's only something you do when you really like it and want more, and in this case, since it has no connection to the bigger "real thing", then there's no point to it if it's not really good enough to warrant that.

I disagree. Even if the story isn't good, the servents design is top notch. A translation of the stat sheet would be enough for me and wouldn't nessessary be "deep diving" as you say.
My favorite thread here is the create a servant thread. Each servant idea is so fastinating and this is much the same way. The current drought of new servants in fgo isnt helping either.
Alright well, let me rephrase then: it'd matter to me, the possible translator, that it's good and that I'd want to not only dive deeper into it but also share all that lore which is not applicable to anything else, especially since I don't personally partake in CaS or fanfic stuff. But even if I myself didn't think it was that great necessarily, if there were a HUGE push from a ton of people to see this stuff translated, then that's another matter entirely. But if there isn't cuz everyone just heard it was kinda meh and lost interest in it entirely as a result, then there'd be no motivation to translate it either. Sort of like retranslating KnK at this point when like 10 people will read it.
But anyway, we'll see after I even start reading it, which will probably be next week.
I'm still not sure if I'll check the game itself, but I wanna take a look at the sheets at least. If I find them interesting enough, there's a pretty high chance I'll translate.

What do have against that? It's not like everyone here has the money to legally buy it and even if they had, i'm not sure how expensive it would be, in my country at least it would be quite expensive for a game if i were to purchase
I assume the admins have a vested interest in their forum not being targeted by any form of legal action against piracy, hence their explicit rule against such open displays.
