Personally, I'm starting to get really annoyed right now. With all this going on, it's become apparent that TM is keeping us in the dark. We were supposed to get a big news update on the 21st. All we got was a big nothingburger. Hurry up so we can get Melty Blood HD.

Right now TM seems to follow a certain schedule of release in that there will be foreshadowing and infodumping of lores some time before the release. Wouldn't surprise me if they already finished most of the remake but still waiting for that time when Arcueid shows up in FGO (probably to fulfill the whole "has a super duper low chance to create a circumstance where it will be possible to defeat Amaterasu" thing maybe). Also, references are already dropping. Since FGO is so big now it's gonna be perfect marketing platform for the remake.
You started your clock at the wrong date, the original Remake announcement doesn’t count since they deleted the site and pretended it never happened, the real announcement was the “To the Next Ten Years” announcement with the new art.
Expect more news after the 2020 Olympics
Has even the scope of the project ever been clarified?
Full art/music remake seems to be the bare minimum, but is the story changing too? And if so, to which point?
Tsukihime remake is becoming the new DDD Volume 3, which in turn was the new Tsukihime 2. The snake is swallowing its tail, and soon will be naught. Arise, arise, children of the last days!

It will probably be 'Réalta Nuafied' in that they're removing the sex and replacing it with actual character development so we don't have to laugh hysterically but also kind of uncomfortably at the concept of 'Oh, Ciel-senpai's having problems, let's go bone her in this alleyway.'
There will probably be new story elements.
I'd be very amused if Satsuki ended up with a route after all Nasu's joking about it.

I always thought that they were saving Arcueid's inevitable FGO release for just after the remake came out.

More enjoyment has been extracted from desiring the remake than could ever have conceivably been obtained from the remake itself. The remake died a long time ago. What you're mourning now is your ability to desire the remake.

I'm pretty sure there's still some people who really would like to play a remake. But you're right that when something is hyped up so much, the real thing is almost bound to be disappointing in some way. (While I don't expect a Tsukihime remake would be nearly as bad, Duke Nukem Forever is an example that unfortunately springs to mind)
The need to desire new content was once fulfilled by promises of a (mythical city on the hill) tsukihime remake - updated graphics, better music, a story with all the rough parts that so troubled us filed off, all our sins forgiven. Now we can implement the same functionality with limited gachas and the steady drip-feed of (what are they called now?) lostbelts.

that dude is just expressing his exasperation that it's the 10th anniversary and nothing happened
Though abandoned, forgotten, and scorned as out-of-date dolls, they continue to carry out their mission, unchanged from the time they were designed.
Machines do not lose their worth when a newer model appears.
Their worth (life) ends when humans can no longer bear that purity.
Why would the 10th anniversary of the initial announcement be a significant date to release new info on anyway, wouldn't that just end up reminding people of how long the delay was

Also going by Nasu's statement that he originally wanted UBW's ending to tie in with TsukiR and Solomon but the scheduling made it impossible I don't doubt that the announcement will immediately follow the ending of something else
