Soil of Genesis isn't a weapon, so I don't get what that's supposed to do. Or how he's going to hope to catch Dracula in it.

I'm sure he'll be greatly inconvenienced by the muck. And not just turn into mist or a bat

Plenty of ways to catch him. Throwing an animal at him then morph it into something else (like serpents) once they get shot down. It's not like Dracula relies on dodging, he mostly deals with things by regenerating.
The priest was waiting for the arrival of the princess, who was only an enemy of all of them.
For the priest, the golden princess was the one and only main heroine.
Everyone else was unworthy of his respect, no matter how strong they were.

yes he does. also Avicebron who does the same trick

“Caster. Can you make shackles with golems like you did when we captured Berserker of Red?”

“It’s not that I can’t, but it won’t work like it did with Berserker. It will only dull his movements a bit. Also, it’ll be pointless if he changes form into mist or bats.
    ...

They were six in total. Six Servants who were all worthy of being called the strongest. However, there was not the slightest bit of relaxation shown on any of their faces. It wasn’t in order to stop themselves from being negligent. They really were desperate.

“Kuh, he’s turned into mist again—!!”

Vlad III had been summoned as Lancer of Black, and had been given the Noble Phantasm Kaziklu Bey: Lord of Execution that came from his affinity as the Lord of Impalement as long as he was within his dominion.

You can't do that with SoG. Otherwise Arc would have materialized and rematerialized somewhere else but she didn't. If you are caught you are done for.

Or... Arc is really fucking stupid.

I'm certain there could be a case made for that.

Or, Arc decided to trust Shiki instead of bailing on him and leaving him to die, since the rematerializing part of her teleporting isn't instant even under ideal conditions (i.e., when she isn't mostly dead with an empty power tank).

she regained Roa's portion of her power at that point.

But, a True Ancestor that has drank blood once cannot remain sane without doing it again."

Even though I annihilated him so many times, it was only his flesh and not his soul.
But you killed his existence completely, Shiki. So----the power he stole returned to me and I somehow managed to revive."
you know when i read this, I was like, man this is the dumbest deus ex machina thing ever.

Fate strange fake volume 2 talks about it. A different disaster with vampires/monsters happened during each Crusade. Although IIRC Richard and Saladin teaming up to stop them wasn't during the one where Nrvnqsr showed up, but I don't have the book in front of me right now.

okay I'm home and got my book so here's the relevant text starting on page 154. It's when Jester shows up and introduces himself as a vampire and Master to Fake Assassin (who doesn't know him) after she's been fighting Clan Catalin for a little bit.

    ---

    Dead Apostle.

When she heard that term, a shudder went down the length of the female Assassin's body.

It wasn't because she feared the abominations people called vampires. It was because her situation was the worst she could have imagined.

    Vain carriers of death.
They were disciples of ruin who exterminated humans.

She had never encountered a Dead Apostle in life, but she had heard the stories. When the infidels brought their great wars, terrible monsters had swept through the battlefield like whirlwinds of slaughter, without regard for either side.

In the first war, a monster that kept countless beasts within its body had painted the battlefield red with blood.

In the second war, multiple monsters different from the first appeared, and rampaged for three days and three nights before leaving.

In the third war, yet another monster appeared -- but it seemed to have been defeated by the stern generals of both armies.

Whether that last monster was simply weak, or whether the famed generals that slew it were heroes that surpassed monsters, she did not know.

She was sure, however, that whatever this monster was, it was a a disciple of slaughter that threatened human existence itself.
