actually all things considered, how does Dantes actually rank in the grand scale of things
clearly his weakness is still the fact that he has no real finisher, but he still has insane endurance paired with decent offensive power. obviously he can't beat Gil but who could he beat

I thought Dantes was intentionally written to be edgy.

I don't know. Most depictions of "Street Fighter" characters I've seen (including the actual games) make them out to be low-level superhumans for the most part, something which I can see UBW!Shirou or HF!Shirou capable of facing (though not necessarily defeating). I think the main problem is that Vega is actually a ninja and his first strike will almost definitely be a sneak attack.
So let me expand my previous answer a bit: I can see UBW!Shirou or HF!Shirou winning, but overall, I'd give the advantage to Vega.
One last question: can Sion see and harm Stands?
